Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1715: Chapter 576: Monster Siege Begins, Charging Straight to Full Level!

Time passed quietly.

In the blink of an eye, it was 00:00 at night.

System prompt appeared.

[Attention all survivors! The third round of monster siege is about to begin. This is the last round of monster siege during the development period. Please do your best to challenge higher levels.]

...

At this moment, the chat channel was once again buzzing.

”Woohoo! The monster siege has begun. I wonder if any new territory can break through the eighth round this time.”

”Not likely. There aren’t many territories across all servers that have passed the seventh round, let alone the eighth round.”

”Yeah, except for the legendary Cao Xing, I haven’t seen anyone from any district pass the eighth round. Even those brave enough to challenge it get harshly educated by reality, with their territories destroyed by the resurrection army. Several large legions have already been wiped out.”

”Cao Xing is just too formidable, completely on a different level from other top warriors in other districts. Looks like he’ll turn the monster siege into a race again this time!”

”A race? I think it’s more about collecting treasure boxes, directly killing through the tenth round. How many treasure boxes would that yield!”

”Indeed... And it’s been a month since the last monster siege. With that long time, Cao Xing must have improved considerably.”

Whenever monster siege is discussed, Cao Xing is an inseparable topic.

After all, he is the only lord across all servers to have killed through the tenth round.

For a moment, not only the Four Districts but even survivors from other districts were looking forward to Cao Xing’s performance this time.

...

...

At this moment, Cao Xing was not paying attention to the chat channel. He was still focused on watching beyond the territory, awaiting the start of the battle.

Just then, on the territory’s wall, Polar Du An and another Polar pushed out a drum nearly two meters high.

It was the ’Vitality Drum’—a legion treasure he had obtained not long ago.

Before this large drum stood a tall centaur, holding two drumsticks, eager to start.

In the blink of an eye, the system prompt appeared.

[The first wave of monster siege has begun, please prepare yourself...]

As white shadows appeared on the snowy ground, Cao Xing instantly turned his gaze to them.

He immediately saw those familiar figures, precisely the snowy white bears encountered during the second monster siege.

But this time, as many as five hundred fourth-rank snowy white bears appeared.

Cao Xing pondered, ”Has the difficulty increased so much?”

”Compared to last time, the quantity has increased by about four times.”

However, he felt no fear at all; rather, there was anticipation!

After all, the more monsters there are, the more experience points can be gained.

He didn’t do as he did last time, letting Marlenina swiftly take down the enemy with a single sword strike.

Now, the task was to utilize each monster’s experience well to maximize benefits.

Thus, Cao Xing ordered, ”Now, everyone who hasn’t reached full level at the current level, step forward!”

Upon hearing the command, Liu Muxue, Sarah...

Assam and his Frost Wolf, Giant Dragon Seraphis the Dragon Speaker.

Green Snake Lana and Holy Light Priest Isabel, all stepped forth.

Including Cao Xing himself, eight heroic-level creatures had not yet reached full level.

Then there were those newly recruited Dragon Blood Warriors and warriors from the Elf Clan.

Cao Xing said, ”The first few waves of the battle will be handled by us. Try to make sure each warrior can deal damage.”

”Now, start the battle!”

Upon hearing the command, Centaur Candar on the wall immediately beat the Vitality Drum.

”Boom! Boom boom! Boom boom boom!”

The drum sound, full of vigorous power, reverberated through the battlefield. Each beat carried a momentum like crushing mountains, igniting the warriors’ fighting spirit!

On the other side, the Centaur Saint blew the War Horn.

”Toot—”

Both war items were activated simultaneously.

All warriors felt their blood surging furiously through their veins, as if they possessed endless power!

[You have received the drum sound’s blessing from the ”Vitality Drum,” Hardness increased by 30%, Move Speed increased by 30%, affected by Talent ”Eternal Power,” this effect has now become permanent...]

In an instant! Everyone’s move speed surged again!

The dozens called by name charged forward like fierce tigers!

Even the newly recruited member Bafu Heixin dashed ahead.

His combat style was somewhat savage.

Running on four limbs, like a black-armored cheetah, he transformed into a black lightning bolt, reaching the snowy white bear’s side.

Then extending his metallic sharp claws, he instantly pounced the white bear to the ground, then fiercely pierced through the heart!

”Pshh!”

A fresh red bear heart was directly pulled out by him, simultaneously killing the fourth-rank white bear.

This direct heart-extraction battle method made one’s scalp tingle.

Other combat personnel’s attacks also could achieve a one-hit kill effect, but recalling Cao Xing’s advice, they tried to control their power without using skills.

Mostly attacking the monsters’ legs or back, avoiding vital parts, allowing everyone a chance to hit and gain experience points.

The battle ended in about 2 minutes and 42 seconds.

[The first round of battle has ended, Time taken: 2 minutes 42 seconds, Current ranking: 75]

...

In the chat channel, numerous survivors were paying attention to this monster siege leaderboard.

Seeing that Cao Xing didn’t crush the battle in mere seconds this time like before, they felt a bit disappointed.

Yet, they knew the first wave posed no difficulty for him.
