Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 1524: Chapter 514: Second All-Out Upgrade, Chenmai Fog Disaster Begins

”If I make a move, I can eliminate him directly within a short time.”

The presence beside him shook its head.

”You can’t do it either.”

”The Old King of the Ice Crystal Kingdom certainly knows we will target this Otherworldly Lord.”

”Judging from his attitude today, the Old King is likely to fight us to the death.”

”With a demigod artifact in hand, coupled with his formidable strength, he truly has the capability to take down two or three of our Legendary beings.”

”Possibly, the Old King is preparing to join forces with this Otherworldly Lord, waiting for us to come, then seize us in a trap.”

Upon hearing this analysis, the crowd was startled.

After all, it’s not impossible.

The Ice Crystal King appears kind-hearted, yet for him to control this kingdom for over a thousand years and gradually develop it into one of the largest neighboring kingdoms, he must have some strategies.

If we really rush forward, only to fall into their trap, we’d be in deep trouble.

”Then what do you mean...”

The person shook his head and said, ”Let’s wait for now. We need to consult the leader on this matter first.”

”Moreover... Recently, the Chenmai Fog Disaster has appeared on the continent. This fog disaster is not simple, and we need to reduce our actions in the near term.”

Upon hearing the words ’fog disaster,’ the Light Seed was immediately intrigued.

As a Survivor, he also saw the discussions on the World Forum and was very curious about this thick fog.

So, he couldn’t help but ask, ”Sir, is there any danger in the Chenmai Fog Disaster? Why can’t even the powerful Watcher act within it?”

The other party glanced lightly at the Light Seed, seemingly unwilling to answer.

It was another person who answered the Light Seed’s question.

”We also don’t know exactly what the danger is, but judging from the experience every time a fog disaster appears, this thick fog can cause disorientation.”

”Even Legendary Creatures, when operating in the fog for an extended time, gradually lose their sense of direction.”

”And once lost, the consequences can be severe...”

”At least, so far, I’ve never seen anyone return after getting lost in this thick fog.”

Upon hearing this, the Light Seed’s gaze became solemn.

He clasped his hands and said, ”Thank you, Sir, for solving my doubts.”

The Watcher Legend waved his hand.

”Alright, since the fog disaster hasn’t reached a new stage yet, you should return first.”

”Understood.”

After saying this, the Light Seed obediently left the area.

After he left.

The Watcher Legend looked over and said.

”Is it not quite right for us to treat the envoy of the Light God this way?”

But the person coldly snorted, ”What’s wrong with it?”

”A bunch of mad cultists, who even prey on the civilians for large-scale blood sacrifices!”

”If it weren’t for everyone focusing on dealing with the Ice Crystal Kingdom lately.”

”These guys would be our first target to destroy!”

”As Guardians of the Human Clan, our purpose in overthrowing these decaying dynasties is to make sure the ordinary people of this world no longer suffer oppression and rule by these people!”

”Even if the world hates us, questions us, we must carry through this belief to the end!”

”We want the world to know that only through blood can rebirth come!”

At this moment, every figure in the grand hall showed a fervent look in their eyes!

...

...

A night passed quickly.

The next day...

The System Prompt appeared.

[All Survivors, please note, you have reached the fourteenth day of the development period, the second round of Monster Attack will commence at midnight tonight.]

[Attention! Due to unknown reasons, the special calamity: Chenmai Fog Disaster has appeared, Survivor small map function is disabled, movement in the fog will reduce Move Speed by 20%.]

[The Chenmai Fog Disaster is a special Heavenly Calamity, please minimize outings to avoid getting lost in the fog, otherwise, you will be permanently lost in the fog]

[Additionally... as time progresses, the Chenmai Fog Disaster will enter a special stage tomorrow—the Silent World]

[In this stage, please try to minimize noise or bright lights, otherwise, it may attract some special creatures in the fog...]

[Today’s weather: thick fog, temperature: -63℃~-68℃...]

...

As soon as the long prompt ended, the entire chat channel exploded.

”Oh my! So this thick fog is a Heavenly Calamity, no wonder it’s so bizarre, even the small map can’t be used!”

”This is absurd, as long as the thick fog exists, we can only operate within our Territory, there’s no way to go out.”

”It’s not just that, did you see the System Prompt? It says this fog disaster will intensify, becoming the Silent World stage, in this stage we can’t make noise or light, which means our Bonfire might be useless.”

”Damn... can’t make sound, can’t light a fire, might as well freeze to death!”

The entire chat channel was shrouded in gloom.

And at this moment, a Survivor named Lin Tao spoke.

”Don’t panic, brothers, the System also hinted that the new fog disaster stage won’t start until tomorrow? This means we still have preparation time today.”

Upon hearing this, others also realized something.

”That’s right, quickly go prepare!”

”Although the Bonfire can’t be used, the Melting Furnace can, the light emitted by the Melting Furnace is very dim, those who haven’t upgraded to Melting Furnace should take action quickly.”

”Exactly, besides upgrading the Melting Furnace, everyone can stockpile Wood, Food in their rooms, and then use the stove for warmth, make sure to seal doors and windows but leave a slight gap!”
