Apocalypse Descent: Farming with My Harem

Chapter 808: Chapter 309: The Plot Revealed, Cao Xing’s Plan!

Up until now, only a few hundred unlucky souls have died.

And at this moment, seeing so many people picking up money on the battlefield, more survivors regret not coming to Dorun Lake City for a gamble!

Some even began to complain that Cao Xing stopped them last night, causing them to miss a great opportunity for wealth.

The Kingdom Army is incredibly strong, crushing everything in their path.

In just fifteen minutes, they completely annihilated this group of two to three thousand Hunters.

Under the city wall, the corpses of Hunters are piled up, along with the loot that exploded onto the ground after their deaths.

However, due to military regulations, the loot dropped by dead Hunters belongs to the Kingdom Army.

So, despite the survivors eyeing the loot with greed,

under the threat of those soldiers, they still dared not approach.

Then, the Knight Captain shouted triumphantly, ”Into the city! Reclaim Dorun Lake City!”

”Woo—”

The horn of attack sounded again.

A large number of knights and soldiers charged into the city.

The survivors exchanged glances and then nodded.

”Brothers, we go in too!”

”This is a Giant City, there must be a wealth of resources inside. If we grab a bit randomly, we’ll make it big today!”

”That’s right, although we’ve been prohibited from picking up the dropped loot from the Hunters, there’s no rule against us raiding the city!”

”Brothers, charge together!”

Everyone went completely crazy, all swarming into Dorun Lake City.

A vast number of soldiers and knights clashed with the Hunters in the city.

And those survivors also rushed in.

However, they did not fight; instead, they immediately found those residential houses and shops, kicked open the doors, and began massive plundering!

Then, their laughter was heard!

”Hahaha! I found a grocery store with hundreds of thousands of Crowns, lots of food, and resources! I’ve struck it rich!”

”Damn! I picked up a Golden Quality Skill Book in a residential house, feels awesome!”

”Hell, you guys can’t imagine what I found. It’s the city’s Gold Shop, I saw a cabinet full of gold jewelry, and there’s even a set of pure gold War Armor! I’ve really hit the jackpot! This time, I’m going to buy a hundred slave girls to serve me, hahaha!”

”...”

The survivors who stormed into the city all had abundant gains.

Almost everyone was consumed by the profits before their eyes.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom’s army mostly charged into the city.

The soldiers’ eyes shimmered with excitement,

because in this battle, they’ve shown their prowess!

They seized Dorun Lake City with the force of lightning.

Not only had they washed away the shame of the Ice Crystal Kingdom, but they also proved their strength.

Afterwards, this army would certainly receive the King’s commendation!

For the soldiers and knights on the field, this was the utmost glory!

Just then.

The previously breached barrier of Dorun Lake City suddenly rose!

”Buzz!”

A golden barrier instantly enveloped the entire Giant City.

The Kingdom’s army was instantly isolated in the city, soldiers looking around in confusion.

And at this point, the general commanding the overall situation outside suddenly realized something.

Before he could react.

From within Dorun Lake City, terrifying auras erupted!

”No good, there are powerful foes inside!”

”Damned, those outside Cultists were bait, their real purpose was to lure us in for a clean sweep!”

However, when they realized it, it was already too late!

Inside Dorun Lake City.

On the walls, along the streets, a large army of Alien Ghosts suddenly appeared!

They appeared withered, and wherever they went, even the ground was covered with a layer of White Frost!

Two Knight Captains immediately spoke in horror, ”No, it’s the Alien Ghost Army!”

”Damned, gather everyone!”

”Eagle, Black Tiger Knight Group, form a battle formation quickly.”

And just then.

Four figures appeared in the sky.

Three in red robes, one in yellow.

When the Yellow Robed Bishop, holding the Holy Scripture, began chanting.

All soldiers, even the survivors hiding in various constructions, suddenly ignited with dazzling flames!

Those flames could not be extinguished and constantly burned their skin!

”The Eternal Fire will punish every non-believer, it never stops...”

The soldiers below screamed in agony.

Even the resilient knights couldn’t help but cry out in pain at this moment.

”Ah!!!”

”What the hell is this fire!”

In the next moment.

The Alien Ghost Army, along with the three Red Robed Bishops, and a powerful Black Snake, rushed into the crowd and began slaughtering!

The piercing screams could be heard even beyond the barrier.

The resolute general was already completely panicked.

He charged to the edge of the wall like an explosive beast within seconds, then began attacking the barrier frantically.

Including those cannons and siege crossbows, also launched crazy attacks.

However, this barrier was not so easily broken.

Previously it had endured so many rounds of attack, only barely shattered.

Inside, blood Qi continued to surge, quickly repairing the barrier.

Soldiers were dying in droves.

Their bodies, under those Alien Ghosts’ Ice Crystal Swords, almost turned into ice sculptures at a touch.

Through the barrier, the general viewing this scene became extremely anxious!

”Damned! Damned, damned, damned!”
