Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 803: Chapter 803 Spider

Cara took a deep breath. ”I... I think I’ve found someone I like. I didn’t mean for it to happen. I really didn’t.”

Corey’s face darkened, but he didn’t speak yet.

”It’s Big D, isn’t it?” he said after a moment, his voice bitter.

She didn’t speak, but her silence confirmed it. Her hands trembled slightly in her lap.

”Unbelievable.” Corey scoffed and stood up. ”It’s Big D. Of course it is. It’s always him.”

”I didn’t plan this,” she said quickly, standing too. ”I just... it happened. The more time I spent with him... the more I realized—”

”You realized I was just a placeholder?” Corey snapped, his voice rising.

”No!” she said quickly, stepping forward. ”That’s not it. I liked you. I really did. But with D, it’s different. I don’t even understand it fully. I just know that if I don’t follow what I’m feeling, I’ll regret it.”

”Regret,” Corey muttered, half-laughing in disbelief. ”You know what I regret? Thinking you were different.”

He shook his head and walked away, his footsteps loud and angry on the stone path.

She watched him disappear into the house, her own heart breaking under the weight of her decision.

A tear slipped down her cheek. She wiped it away quickly.

Inside the house, things were different now. People could sense the shift.

Even Heaven gave Cara a curious look the next morning during breakfast.

Tianna nudged her, whispering something about drama, but Cara wasn’t in the mood to laugh.

Later that day, Ross found her by the pool. She was alone, legs dipped in the water, deep in thought.

”Rough night?” he asked casually.

She looked up, surprised he approached her so soon. ”Yeah... you could say that.”

He sat beside her, silent for a while before speaking again. ”I heard.”

”Of course you did,” she said quietly.

He turned toward her, his voice softer than usual. ”So what now?”

Cara glanced at him. ”I don’t know. I told Corey the truth. That was the hardest part. I’m not proud of hurting him.”

”You didn’t lie,” Ross replied. ”You followed your heart. In this place, that’s rare.”

She gave him a small, sad smile. ”You make it sound noble.”

”It is,” he said simply. ”Now the only thing left is to figure out what we are.”

Cara didn’t answer right away.

She stared at Ross, her heartbeat loud in her ears, her thoughts racing with every possible consequence of the words she was about to say.

The lights in the house were dimmed for the evening, casting warm shadows across his face, but to her, he seemed to shine brighter than anyone else.

”You know I like you, D,” she said at last, her voice trembling slightly—not from fear, but from the weight of what she was finally admitting out loud.

Ross looked at her, a slow smile forming on his lips.

”That’s what I heard,” he said casually, cocking his head slightly. ”And honestly, it’s not unusual. Every girl likes me. No one’s ever managed to resist my charm.”

Cara gave a small laugh—half-annoyed, half-endearing.

That was the Ross everyone knew: smug, confident, unshakable.

But she needed something more than bravado now.

”And then what?” she asked, taking a step closer. ”If I come to your side... if I give in to this feeling, what then? That makes five women, D. Five beautiful, intelligent, capable women all drawn to you. What are your plans for us? Is this just a phase, or do you actually know what you’re doing?”

Her voice was firm now, steady. She wasn’t looking for promises wrapped in silver words.

She was asking for the truth, whatever that looked like.

Ross’s smile faded into something more thoughtful.

He ran his thumb along his jawline as he regarded her, eyes narrowing not in judgment but in reflection.

”You want the truth?” he asked quietly. ”Then here it is.”

He stepped closer to her, so close she could feel the heat radiating from his body.

”I didn’t plan this. I never came into this house expecting to care about anyone—especially not five women who could each destroy me in their own ways.”

Cara looked at him, eyes wide. He continued.

”But here I am. And I do care. About each of you. You’re not just a number to me, Cara. None of you are. I don’t see you as trophies or background characters. I see strength, passion, individuality. And yes... I want to keep all of you close. I want to protect you. I want to love you—each of you in your own way. And if that makes me a fool, then fine. I’ll be the happiest fool alive.”

He took her hand gently, fingers brushing hers. ”This isn’t some fantasy to me. I want to build something real—even if the world doesn’t understand it. But I can’t do it alone. I need you with me. Will you trust me, Cara?”

Cara felt something bloom in her chest—hope, fear, excitement, desire—all tangled together. She didn’t answer immediately.

Her mind was a whirlwind, but her heart... her heart already knew.

She finally gave him a slow nod. ”Then I guess I’m yours,” she whispered, her voice barely audible. ”But don’t you dare break my heart, D.”

Ross leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to her forehead. ”Never,” he whispered back. ”You’re too precious for that.”

They stood there in silence for a moment, the house quiet around them, the air humming with a tension that was no longer uncertain—but filled with possibility.

From a distance, someone might have seen just two contestants whispering in the corner.

But for Cara, this was the moment everything changed.

And she didn’t regret a thing.

Later that night, Cara found herself alone with Ross on his bed.

The other four girls had retreated to the women’s room, leaving the two of them in quiet isolation.

The air was thick with anticipation, and Cara’s heart raced as she realized—tonight was the night she would fully give herself to him.

Tonight, Ross would make her his woman.
