Evil MC's NTR Harem

Chapter 654 Zone

”Youʼre confident, Iʼll give you that,” she said, trying to regain some of her composure.

Her voice had taken on a sharper edge, but the flurry of emotions inside her was harder to control.

”But Iʼm not here to play your little games, Ross. So, letʼs just say weʼre both wasting each otherʼs time.”

Rossʼs eyes never left her, though his smile became more enigmatic, more knowing.

”Time?” he repeated softly, as if tasting the word on his tongue.

”Sasha, the only time being wasted here is yours. And we both know it.”

His words lingered in the air, like an open challenge that hung between them, unspoken but impossible to ignore.

Sashaʼs heart skipped a beat. She could feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins now.

This wasnʼt just about control or power—it was about something more primal, something that tugged at the edges of her mind and body.

She had to stop herself from reacting to his presence, from letting him win.

But it was hard. Damn hard.

She took a slow breath, steadying herself, before giving him a sharp, almost mocking smile.

”Youʼre delusional if you think Iʼm going to just fall into your hands.”

Ross leaned forward then, his posture predatory, his eyes burning with that dangerous intensity.

”Maybe,” he said, his voice quiet but thick with meaning. ”But if I were you, I wouldnʼt be so sure.”

The words hung in the air, thick with promise, and for a split second, Sasha wondered if she had just made the biggest mistake of her life.

They talked for a while longer before Ross suggested a change of scenery.

Sasha didnʼt object. A part of her was curious to see what a night out with Ross Oakley could really look like.

He called for his driver, but Sasha insisted on using her own car, her subtle way of keeping the upper hand—or so she told herself.

Soon, they arrived at one of the cityʼs most exclusive nightclubs.

The neon-lit sign outside was discreet, but everyone who was anyone knew what kind of crowd it attracted.

The line outside stretched around the block, but the moment Ross stepped out of his car, the bouncers straightened and waved him in without hesitation.

Sasha followed, heels clicking against the marble floor, her confidence matching his stride.

Inside, the club throbbed with life—pulsing lights, heavy bass, bodies moving in rhythm.

But the energy shifted the moment Ross and Sasha entered. Whispers spread like wildfire.

All eyes turned to them, and a strange hush fell over the crowd. Ross Oakley had arrived—with a new woman by his side.

People gawked, not just because of who Ross was, but because of how striking Sasha looked.

The contrast of her elegance against the backdrop of flashing lights made her seem untouchable—dangerous, even.

And the fact that she was with him? That elevated her to near-mythical status in an instant.

Ross was used to this kind of attention. Sasha, not so much—but she carried herself with poise, as if sheʼd belonged to this world all along.

Despite the packed club, space seemed to open up around them as they made their way to the dance floor.

People instinctively stepped aside, creating a circle—a private stage just for them. It wasnʼt out of fear. It was reverence.

Ross didnʼt command attention. He earned it, simply by being.

They began to dance. Slowly at first, the music swelling around them.

Sasha moved with ease, fluid and graceful, meeting Rossʼs rhythm step for step.

His hands never wandered too far, but there was a constant tension—an invisible pull that tethered them together. A game of proximity, and anticipation.

”How does it feel,” Sasha asked, her voice rising just above the music, ”to be so respected? So adored by everyone? They all know you, and theyʼre all watching.”

Ross smiled as he moved in sync with her. ”Itʼs never bothered me,” he said. ”But I think youʼre underestimating how much attention you command. A woman like you doesnʼt walk into a room unnoticed. Youʼre the kind men regret letting go—and the kind women pretend not to envy.”

Sasha gave a small laugh, but there was a flush rising in her cheeks. ”Youʼre smooth. Iʼll give you that.”

”And yet,” Ross said, leaning a little closer, ”youʼre still here.”

She didnʼt respond. Instead, she let her body answer—closing the space between them just enough to let the friction speak for her.

The music shifted, the beat deeper, more sensual, and their dancing followed suit. Her hands slid up his chest, resting just beneath his collarbone.

His breath hitched, barely noticeable, but Sasha caught it.

Their eyes locked again, that same intensity from the restaurant now magnified under the club lights.

This wasnʼt innocent. It hadnʼt been from the start.

There was too much heat between them, too many unspoken things lingering in the air.

And now, with the world watching but no one daring to interrupt, they hovered on the edge of something electric.

Ross leaned in, his breath warm against her cheek, his lips brushing just near enough to feel.

”Youʼre not stopping me,” he said, voice low, velvety.

”Should I?” she whispered.

That was all it took.

He kissed her.

At first, it was soft, deliberate—testing the waters. But Sasha didnʼt hesitate.

Her hands moved up, around his neck, and she kissed him back hungrily, lips parting to welcome him in.

There was nothing tentative now. No holding back. It was passion ignited, a week of tension erupting in seconds.

The crowd around them faded into nothing.

The music, the lights, the voices—it all vanished.

There was only the warmth of his hands on her waist, the pressure of his mouth on hers, and the shocking realization that she hadnʼt kissed like this in a long, long time.

Ross broke the kiss first, barely pulling back. ”Your lips taste good,” he said softly, forehead resting against hers.

”So are yours,” Sasha breathed, her eyes searching his.

”Hmmmm.”

Their lips met again, slower this time—deeper. It wasnʼt a public display anymore.

It was something more private, more telling. Something Sasha didnʼt want to admit she wanted.

But she did. Every part of her did.
