I Only Summon Villainesses

Chapter 168: Scrubbing Evidence

The wave of pleasure ebbed into something quieter, and with the calm came a sudden clarity about what I’d just done.

’I just fucked a lady I knew less than a day ago.’

Come to think of it, when hadn’t, mm I fucked a lady I knew less than a day ago? Somehow, this specific curse had latched itself onto me since arriving in this world. Every single time. Not once had I actually gotten to know someone before ending up tangled with them.

But it was a curse I liked. And when a curse landed you somewhere pleasant, people had a name for that sort of thing.

’A blessing in disguise.’

That was it. All that truly mattered in life was perspective. One man’s curse, another man’s extremely enjoyable afternoon.

I stood there watching Lady Yuan, who had passed out cold after that heaven of a ride. Her breathing was slow and peaceful, completely dead to the world. I covered the exposed parts of her body with my oversized shirt — the one I’d gotten from Levi — and used her own clothes to cover her lower half. Her pale legs still peeked out at the edges, just her feet and hands protruding from the makeshift blanket arrangement.

A sigh escaped me. My gaze drifted to the mess we’d made on the floor.

Now that I was actually looking at it, clear-headed and standing upright, I realized just how truly filthy both of us had been. Too filthy, in fact, for two people who had just met. The evidence was... extensive.

And [Summoner’s Touch] had nothing to do with this.

’Ability aside, maybe all of us are just animals wearing clothes.’

I let out another breath and looked around the room, unsure what to do with the aftermath. The mess wasn’t going to clean itself, but I wasn’t exactly motivated to deal with it either.

At that moment, a knock rang against the door.

I nearly jumped out of my skin.

”Don’t come in!”

I lunged for the door as I shouted, but the person on the other side pushed through easily, forcing it open despite my hand on the knob. My resistance meant nothing.

Kassie stepped into the room and stopped.

I froze immediately.

’Crap. I’ve been caught.’

Her gaze moved slowly across the scene. First to Lady Yuan unconscious on my bed. Then to the scattered furniture — the table and chair that had somehow ended up displaced. Then, finally, to the very obvious mess on the ground.

The silence stretched for an eternity.

”Goodness,” Kassie said, her voice flat. ”You vile summoner. What did you do to this young lady?”

It wasn’t the words that struck me dead. It was the look on her face. Pure, undiluted disgust. The kind of expression someone might wear if they’d just stepped in something foul and discovered it was alive.

’She’s looking at me like I’m a rapist!’

”Hey, wait—” I held up both hands. ”I swear this was mutual! It wasn’t just me, okay? She was very much a willing participant!”

Kassie raised her chin slightly. The disgust didn’t waver.

”Then why is she the only one unconscious?”

I chuckled nervously. ”Well, you tell me. I mean... wasn’t it the same with you?”

The disgust on her face darkened into something far more dangerous.

”I will rip your tongue out if you utter one more word.”

The corner of my lips widened into a crooked grin. I couldn’t help it. She’d walked right into that one, and we both knew it.

Silence reclaimed the room. Kassie scanned the chaos one more time and released a long sigh.

”Clean this nonsense up. It smells in here.” She met my gaze again. ”I have been assigned a room. It’s comfortable. I was also given free clothes, and I intend to take a warm bath soon.”

My eyes widened with sudden energy.

”Oh? Do you want company? I could join you—”

She shot me a glare so sharp it could have drawn blood.

That was her answer. She turned on her heel and slammed the door behind her. The sound echoed through the room like punctuation.

It was only after she left that I paused to actually think.

’Wait... did she just come to report to me?’

That was what this looked like, wasn’t it? Kassie had stopped by specifically to tell me what she was doing. Where she’d be. What her plans were.

’Could that mean she wanted me to join her?’

I thought about how a normal girl might say ”no” in a way that actually meant ”convince me.” Kassie was a girl too, at the end of the day. But the crucial difference between Kassie and any normal girl was that Kassie really could rip out my tongue. And probably my cock too, while she was at it. A normal girl could only threaten such things.

With Kassie, when she said no, she meant no.

I felt the flicker of hope extinguish as reality set in. Kassie was nothing if not straightforward.

In the meantime, I found a random rag under the table — something used to wipe surfaces — and cleaned up the mess we’d made on the floor before it could dry and become permanent. A fitting end to my romantic afternoon: on my knees scrubbing evidence.

Once that was done, I climbed up to the upper bunk and forced myself toward sleep. But before I closed my eyes, curiosity pulled at me. I brought up my Summoner’s status to check the gains from Lady Yuan.

[SUMMONER STATUS]

Name: Cade Marlowe

Rank: F

Spirit Essence: 2,600/2,600

Active Spirits: 2/5

[MAIN ATTRIBUTES]

- Summoner’s Touch (Basic) Lv. 4

- Infinite Vitality (Basic) Lv. 7

- Perfect Fit (Basic) Lv. 11

’Holy shit.’

My spirit essence had increased by five hundred points. And everything else had been reset to full.

’Wait — is sex a way to replenish my spirit essence? Did I miss that memo?’

This was incredible. The implications hit me one after another. I didn’t just need to progress my relationships with my contracted spirits. I could actually recover by being intimate with them. If I could do the same in the Nave — those training sessions that reflected in reality — this changed everything.

’I could rejuvenate myself whenever I needed to, just by fucking them there.’

That should work, right? If brutal training in that space affected my real body, then pleasure should too.

My other two attributes had grown significantly as well. The numbers were climbing nicely.

’But I received way more essence from Lady Yuan than from anyone else. Why?’

I hadn’t gained this much from Lira. And Nisha had only given me a hundred, despite how much she’d clearly enjoyed herself. So what made Lady Yuan different?

I turned the question over in my mind. Perhaps the amount of essence wasn’t tied to just the pleasure involved. There had to be other factors at play — things I didn’t understand yet.

Either way, thinking about it wouldn’t give me answers. I’d only learn by experiencing more.

With that conclusion, my eyelids finally grew heavy, and I let myself drift into sleep.
