Chapter 1250: Chapter 504: Little Bear Winnie’s Honey

The light orb unfolded, presenting a scene that left Ron utterly startled.

It was an illustration in a child’s artistic style, using crayon-like textures to depict a warm fairy tale setting:

”The Story of the Little Bear and the Honey Pot”

In the picture, a chubby yellow bear was sitting under a large tree, with a huge honey pot in front of it.

But this honey pot was very special.

It seemed to never fill up, yet it also seemed to never empty.

The bear’s expression was both greedy and conflicted, with one paw already reaching for the honey pot, while the other paw scratched its head.

The story unfolds in childlike language:

”Once upon a time, there was a cute little bear named Winnie, who loved honey very, very much.

One day, it discovered a magical honey pot.

The honey in this pot could never be finished! Every time Winnie ate a mouthful of honey, the pot would refill.

Winnie felt that it must be the happiest little bear in the world!”

The illustration began to undergo subtle changes.

As the story progressed, the details of the forest’s background continuously adjusted.

”However, as it ate more and more, Winnie discovered a strange phenomenon:

Every time the honey refilled, the taste would change.

Sometimes it tasted like flowers, sometimes like fruits, and sometimes even carried an indescribable bitterness.”

The bear’s expression became more confused:

”Winnie began to ponder: where do these different flavored honeys come from?

It climbed to the treetop and gazed around, discovering an astonishing secret:

It turns out, every time it finished a pot of honey, the entire forest quietly changed a little.

Flowers would change to different colors, birds would sing different songs, even the sunlight would become slightly different.”

The picture displayed the forest’s subtle changes: the same woods, but details were continuously being adjusted.

The shapes of the leaves, the arrangement of flowers, the direction of the paths. More eerily, some things that originally existed began to blur, as if they never existed.

”Winnie finally understood: this magical honey pot actually created honey by using the forest’s ’transformation’!

Every bite of honey meant the forest had to lose something original, and then grow something new to fill the gap.

The story reached a turning point:

’Winnie faced a difficult choice:

to continue enjoying the delicious honey but watch as the familiar forest gradually became unfamiliar;

or to give up the honey and let the forest maintain its original state, although it would never again enjoy that sweet taste.’

The little bear in the illustration fell into deep thought, as the surrounding forest slowly and continually changed.

What bothered Winnie most was this: it found that the other animals in the forest—the little rabbits, squirrels, birds—seemed to not notice these changes. They continued living happily every day, as if everything was exactly the same as yesterday.

Only Winnie knew the truth, only it remembered the forest’s original appearance. This made it feel unbearably lonely and burdened.”

The story stopped abruptly here, leaving an open-ended conclusion:

”Kids, if you were Winnie, what choice would you make?

Would you continue eating honey, letting the world keep ’interesting changes’?

Or would you give up the sweet taste and let everything return to ’boring eternity’?

Think about it, perhaps the answer is in your heart...”

After reading this seemingly innocent fairy tale, Ron felt a deep chill rise in his heart. The absurdity of the answer had exceeded all of his expectations.

The voice of the ”Extraordinary Comprehensive Guide” softly sounded, like a patient master:

”An interesting little story, isn’t it? What do you think the bear’s dilemma resembles?”

Ron gazed at the little bear caught up in its conflict in the illustration, his mind quickly analyzing various potential meanings.

”The bear represents... the existence that knows the truth?” he tentatively began: ”Those observers who can perceive the changes?”

”A very good start.” The book encouraged: ”Continue, what about the honey pot?”

”The honey pot...” Ron pondered carefully:

”If the forest’s changes are to create honey, then the honey itself should represent... some kind of benefit? Some kind of advantage only higher-level beings can enjoy?”

”And the forest...” his voice becoming heavier: ”the entire reality world, all ordinary intelligent life?”

The ”Extraordinary Comprehensive Guide” did not confirm directly but continued to guide: ”Then, what does the reaction of the other animals in the forest suggest?”

This question sent a chill over Ron’s heart: ”They cannot perceive the changes... this means that the vast majority of life, including most wizards, cannot perceive the process of reality being altered?”

”Even if history is rewritten, and memory adjusted, they would consider the new reality as the reality ’has always been’?”

”Very insightful.” The book’s voice carried approval: ”Then, what do you think this ’forest’s transformation’ specifically refers to? Don’t just stay on the macro-level, think about those subtle details.”

Ron recalled the specific changes in the forest from the illustration—the disappearing paths, changed flowers, even some blurred existences.

”Not just the big historical events...” his voice gradually became grave: ”but also those seemingly insignificant adjustments?”

”Such as a dangerously individual being erased from the historical record?”

”Certain technological pathways that could lead to loss of control, being removed from the development trajectory?”
