Chapter 873: Chapter 385: Farewell, Princess (Part 2)

”Master... I must admit, our recent research progress has largely benefited from the... special treatment you’ve brought us.”

His voice carried gratitude, but also a hint of unease:

”Ever since everyone knew we were your students, both the speed at which the ranking of the ’Key’ Magic Potion advanced and the approval for acquiring experimental materials have received unprecedented privileges.”

Liss nodded in agreement:

”Yes, Master. Originally, my application for the raw materials of the ’Spiritual Stabilizer’ required at least a two-month wait. But when the administrator saw that the recommender was you, it was approved the very next day.”

Lucia’s tone was filled with more complex emotions:

”The head of the Bloodline Research Lab even voluntarily opened some advanced equipment, originally only accessible to Official Wizards, for my use.

He said... he said that a master who can guide such outstanding students as yourself naturally has disciples worthy of special attention.”

Listening to his students’ accounts, Ron felt a mix of emotions.

On one hand, he was glad that his students could receive better learning conditions;

On the other hand, he also realized the complex meaning behind this ”special treatment.”

In the wizarding world, there is no goodwill without reason.

These privileges are essentially investments in him, the ”Second Seat of the New Star Plan.”

Those who offer convenience are all expecting some form of return in the future.

”These privileges...” Herman’s voice became heavier:

”Make us both grateful and uneasy.

On one hand, it indeed greatly accelerated our research pace; on the other hand, we are well aware that this treatment is based on your reputation.”

Liss’s eyes burned with determination:

”Master, we understand, this kind of privilege is not to be taken for granted. We must prove with actual results that we deserve such special attention.”

Lucia clenched her fists: ”Precisely because of this, we are all working twice as hard. We can’t let down those who support us, and we certainly cannot embarrass you.”

”Your awareness of this shows that your thoughts have started to mature.” Ron nodded with satisfaction:

”In this world, all convenience has a price, and all privileges come with expectations.”

He paused for a moment, his tone becoming more serious:

”But at the same time, you need not overly blame yourselves.

You truly are working hard and have indeed achieved excellent progress. To some extent, these privileges are also a recognition of your potential.”

Herman nodded thoughtfully:

”I understand, Master. We will continue to strive to match this treatment with real strength, rather than merely relying on your reputation.”

”Well said.” Ron praised:

”By the way, since your abilities have all notably improved, I want to discuss something related to teaching with you.”

This change in topic caught the students by surprise. Liss curiously asked: ”Teaching? Master, do you mean...?”

”The Academic Office informed me that I can set up preparatory guidance sessions for advanced courses.”

Ron explained:

”Considering the varied levels of enrolled students, I can arrange for teaching assistants to conduct remedial and preparatory teaching on basic knowledge.”

His gaze swept over each student present:

”I want you to serve as teaching assistants, responsible for foundational education in different fields.

This will not only help those students with weaker foundations but also further enhance your own abilities.”

This proposal made the students’ eyes instantly light up.

Serving as a teaching assistant means a higher academic status and more practical opportunities.

”Master, do you really think we are qualified to serve as teaching assistants?”

Herman’s voice was a mix of excitement and trepidation:

”Most of those enrolled students are of the same level as me, if not advanced apprentices with longer study times...”

”Ability is not entirely determined by age.” Ron calmly replied:

”In certain professional fields, your theoretical level has already surpassed most of your peers.”

”Tomorrow marks the start of a new course; prepare your lesson plans tonight.

Remember, as teaching assistants, you represent not only yourselves but also my teaching standards.”

The students solemnly nodded their agreement, their eyes filled with unprecedented enthusiasm.

After bidding farewell to his students and returning to his new home, Ron started calculating his current resource situation.

Today’s academic review brought him a substantial reward of five thousand Contribution Points and five hundred Magic Stones.

Adding his previously accumulated over four thousand Contribution Points, his total was now close to ten thousand points.

”Just under a thousand points left to redeem the ’Potential Awakening Stone.’”

He calculated in his mind, his eyes full of anticipation.

The Potential Awakening Stone is a legendary Alchemy Wonder, capable of unleashing the hidden trait of its user.

For Ron, who already possesses multiple professions and abilities, its value is immeasurable.

Perhaps it could awaken new talents, or perhaps enhance existing abilities.

Either result would significantly boost his development.

”At the current rate of Contribution Point acquisition, I’ll be able to gather enough by the end of this course.”

He recorded various data and plans in his research notes:

”By then, whether or not to use the Potential Awakening Stone will need careful consideration of timing and risks.”

Just then, the Communication Crystal suddenly glowed with a gentle blue light.

It was a signal from Professor Uther.

”Ron, how were the results of today’s review?”

The old professor’s voice carried concern:
