My Martial Arts Activated Easy Mode

Chapter 39: Chapter 40: Qi Blood Circulation, A Sudden Turn of Events

”What three conditions?” Su Chen asked in confusion.

Hong Ming quickly replied, ”Training, nourishing, and the Qi Blood Transporting Method!

”To become a Power Training Martial Artist, the very first thing is training.

”Those who practice fist techniques must train them to the absolute limit. Those who practice palm techniques must do the same for palm techniques, and those who practice leg techniques must do so for leg techniques. In short, you just have to keep training.

”While training, you must also pay attention to the wear and tear on your own body. Some Cultivation Techniques require secret medicines for nourishment during practice, such as the Iron Wire Fist.

”Other Cultivation Techniques can cause bodily damage during practice, which also requires secret medicines to heal and prevent premature decline of your Qi Blood in the future.

”Once you have trained your martial arts to the absolute limit and used various secret medicines to replenish your depleted Qi Blood, you will have taken the first step toward becoming a Power Training Martial Artist.”

Su Chen was rendered speechless.

”What’s wrong? Are you scared?” Hong Ming asked calmly, noticing the change in Su Chen’s expression.

”A little,” Su Chen nodded. After listening for so long, he had assumed that completing the training and nourishing would just about allow him to enter the realm. He hadn’t expected it to merely be the first step.

Hearing this, Hong Ming chuckled. ”Did you think entering the realm would be that simple? I have practiced martial arts for most of my life, wasting half of it away, only to fall at this final threshold. I am destined never to become an Entering the Realm Martial Artist!”

At this point, he sighed emotionally. Back in the day... Ah, never mind. A true hero doesn’t boast about his past glories.

”Master, then what is the Qi Blood Transporting Method?” Su Chen asked.

Hong Ming retracted his nostalgic expression and explained, ”The so-called Qi Blood Transporting Method is actually the Entering the Realm Method. Through a specific, unique pathway for circulating Qi Blood, it stimulates the flesh and blood to generate power.”

As if anticipating Su Chen’s next question, he continued, ”Take our Iron Wire Fist, for example. This iron wire is the prototype of the subsequent Qi and Blood Transport Method for entering the realm.

”When the time comes, if you train the Iron Wire Fist to its absolute limit and supplement it with the method I give you, you can attempt to enter the realm. With this method, your chances of success will increase by about ten percent.”

”Only ten percent?” Su Chen was somewhat surprised.

”You think that’s too little?” Hong Ming glanced at Su Chen. ”Do you think the Entering the Realm Method is a dime a dozen? You must understand, this is the very foundation of my Hong Family Martial Arts Hall. Throughout the entire White Stone City, the number of factions that possess an Entering the Realm Method does not exceed five... well, maybe ten!”

Pausing for a moment, Hong Ming added, ”It is precisely because of the Iron Wire Fist’s Entering the Realm Method that the Hong Family Martial Arts Hall has been able to stand tall in White Stone City to this day.”

As he spoke, he gave Su Chen a sidelong glance. ”Although your talent is high, remember that as a martial artist, you must not bite off more than you can chew. Staying grounded is the right path.”

Su Chen heard the underlying meaning in Hong Ming’s words. Clearly, his master was still brooding over the fact that he had consumed five doses of Qi and Blood Powder in just five days. Su Chen didn’t offer an explanation.

”Moreover, entering the realm is much more difficult than you imagine. Simply meeting those three conditions is not enough. You need the right physical constitution, comprehension, perseverance, opportunity, and the accumulation of time to even have a chance at successfully entering the realm,” Hong Ming said.

Hearing this, Su Chen fell deep into thought. Because he had the help of the panel, he didn’t deeply feel the difficulties Hong Ming was talking about.

However, he also knew that people like Hong Ming and Li Mo were the true reflection of the vast majority of Martial Artists.

”According to what Master Hong said, I must meet these three conditions to enter the realm. The first two can be ignored for me, but I wonder if the panel needs this Qi and Blood Transport Method?” he pondered, feeling somewhat uncertain.

But on second thought, the panel seemed to only require Krypton Gold and consuming medicine. This realization finally set his mind at ease.

Currently, the panel hadn’t indicated any need for the Qi and Blood Transport Method. Perhaps, to the panel, it simply wasn’t important at all.

”By the way, Master, there’s one more thing. I saw that bandit earlier—he clearly had a weapon but chose not to use it, fighting bare-handed instead. Why is that?” Su Chen asked, suddenly recalling the incident.

”So, do you think he was being stupid?” Having spoken so much, Hong Ming felt a bit thirsty. He sat down and took a sip of tea.

Su Chen shook his head.

Hong Ming smiled and said, ”It’s actually quite simple. For Power Training Martial Artists, power cannot be attached to weapons. Therefore, they rarely use weapons, relying more on their bare-handed power to injure and kill their enemies.

”This is especially true for Martial Artists who have entered the realm for many years; fighting without weapons actually allows them to better unleash their true strength.

”You already know that the biggest gap between an Entering the Realm Martial Artist and a Power Martial Artist is their power, but do you know just how vast that gap is?

”Once a Power Martial Artist is struck by the opponent’s power, they will suffer severe injuries at best, and at worst, lose their life!

”Of course, there are no absolutes in this world. People born with divine strength and formidable physiques can go toe-to-toe with Power Training Martial Artists even if they haven’t entered the realm themselves.”

Hearing this, Su Chen looked thoughtful. He then asked a few more questions, which Hong Ming answered one by one.

For instance, when asked if power could be released externally, Hong Ming confirmed it was possible, but only by cultivating power to an extremely profound realm. At present, neither Su Chen nor he was qualified to even touch upon that level.

As for the types of power, some were overbearing, some were gentle, some were freezing, and some were scorching... They all varied, but basically depended on the specific martial arts one practiced.

Just as Su Chen was about to leave, Hong Ming called out to stop him. ”Oh, right, didn’t you want to ask me for Qi and Blood Powder earlier? Let’s do this: come see me in three days to get it.”

Hearing this, a look of delight couldn’t help but wash over Su Chen’s face.

He had originally planned to spend money on Qi Blood Medicine to increase his training volume and max out his progress.

He didn’t expect things to take such a sudden turn for the better, with Hong Ming taking the initiative to offer him Qi and Blood Powder.

However, calculating the time, it had been seven days since Hong Ming last gave him Qi Blood Medicine, so the timing did line up.

”Yes, thank you, Master.”

After thanking Hong Ming, Su Chen finally took his leave.

His trip to the Martial Arts Hall had been highly rewarding. Not only did he learn information related to power training, but he was also going to receive Qi and Blood Powder.

Although he wouldn’t get it for another three days, it still saved him a significant amount of time, energy, and wealth.

Over the next three days, Su Chen rarely went out, except to eat. He spent the majority of his time researching poisons.

On the night of the third day, Su Chen finally figured out the trick and successfully developed the Mind Confusing Powder.

Although he yielded less than three grams, it kept Su Chen happy for a long time. After all, succeeding in his research meant his general direction wasn’t wrong.

To test it, he purposely fed his first batch of Mind Confusing Powder to Blacky from next door. The results were outstanding—Blacky slept for a whole day and night.

When it woke up the next day, it was full of energy, showing no obvious side effects.

Because he was so thrilled and busy summarizing his experience afterward, Su Chen delayed his trip to the Martial Arts Hall until the afternoon.

When he arrived at the Martial Arts Hall, Hong Ming handed him a packet of Qi and Blood Powder, warning, ”Use it with discretion.”

Su Chen nodded. ”Yes, Master.”

With that, Su Chen took his leave.

Watching Su Chen’s retreating back, Hong Ming had a nagging feeling that he had forgotten something. After a long while, he suddenly slapped his forehead.

”Damn it, that kid left too quickly. I forgot to check his training progress!”

Then, he sighed helplessly. ”Forget it, forget it. I’ll check it next time.”
