Transmigrated To Ancient Time: Thrive With An Auction System!

Chapter 404: Visiting The Northeast City ( 1 )

Yao Zhi rarely sold the products grown and raised in her system’s places, but whenever they were put in the system’s shop for sale, they were snatched away quickly.

She didn’t know whether it was because her prices were low or because the quality of her products was good. But no matter what the reason was, everything was sold out in less than 15 minutes.

She earned a total of almost 1.5 billion points, which she exchanged for merit points. For every 500 points, she obtained 1 merit point. After she exchanged the merit points, she earned a total of 2,997,500 merit points.

The moment the merit points were exchanged, they were deducted directly by the System to pay off her debt. After the deduction, she had 1,801,412 merit points left.

Seeing that her merit points were no longer negative, Yao Zhi heaved a sigh of relief.

With the large transaction she made, the warehouse was almost empty.

In an instant, the fish crowding the pond were harvested, cleaned, and stored in the warehouse, filling it up to 50% again. The pond was much emptier, so the fish could finally swim happily.

Yao Zhi didn’t notice this because she had already closed the system and went to practice her swordsmanship.

Fu Chen’an only slept for 1 hour, but he woke up feeling refreshed. Letting out a yawn, he stretched his stiff muscles before he left the bed.

Since he couldn’t stay for too long, he changed his clothes and went to find his wife. When he saw his wife practicing sword techniques in the yard, he was taken aback.

Even though her movements were slow, each move was sharp and precise. He waited until she finished before he said, ”Wife, I need to leave now.”

Hearing his words, Yao Zhi sheathed her longsword and walked over. She wiped her sweat while asking, ”Husband, how is the situation on your side?”

”Thanks to your bombs and grenades, we managed to capture the city in less than half a day. Now the army is still stationed outside the Northeast City and helping the people rebuild the city.”

Yao Zhi nodded and asked, ”Does the army have enough provisions?”

”The provisions are enough to last the army for 2 months. But the General ordered the soldiers to set up porridge stalls and distribute steamed cakes. I’m afraid that the provisions will only be enough for 2 more weeks.”

While she didn’t know how bad the situation was, Yao Zhi heard about the barbarians’ cruelty from others. For the people to live under their oppression for so long, it was normal for them to lack food and other supplies.

She thought about the merit points. Even if she could sell her products and exchange them for merit points, the rate was too low.

If she could do more good deeds, she could keep the points from selling the products. Who knows, maybe she would need a lot of points in the future?

With this thought, she looked at her husband and said, ”Husband, I prepared some things for you.”

”Wife, you already prepared a lot of food and water for me,” Fu Chen’an said helplessly. He felt that as the husband, he was more pampered than his wife.

”They are just some fruits and byproducts made from fruits and milk from the orchard and animal farm. It didn’t cost me any money,” Yao Zhi smiled.

Knowing that his obedient wife was stubborn when it came to certain matters, Fu Chen’an pulled her into a hug and nodded. ”Okay, I will listen to you.”

Satisfied with her husband’s obedience, Yao Zhi gave him a kiss as a reward.

Afterward, she took out all the items she had prepared for him and said, ”Husband, I will send supplies to your place as soon as possible.”

Fu Chen’an frowned and shook his head. ”Although we defeated the barbarians, we don’t know if they will launch another attack. So, the situation is dangerous.”

Yao Zhi hugged his waist and tried to persuade him, ”Husband, I will bring the guards, so you don’t have to worry about my safety. If something happens, I still have this place to hide.”

Hearing this, Fu Chen’an went silent for a while before he agreed reluctantly. ”Alright then.”

Now that they had finished talking, she urged him to leave. ”Husband, you should leave now, or someone might get suspicious.”

Fu Chen’an gave her a kiss before he left the shared manor.

After he left, Yao Zhi took a shower, changed into a set of clean clothes, and left the shared manor. Reappearing in her room, she went to find the Ling Squad and Xi Yi.

When everyone gathered in Ling Shi’er’s room, she said, ”I believe everyone already heard about the White Tiger Army attacking the Northeast City.”

Everyone nodded at her words.

”I received information that the Northeast City had been reclaimed by the White Tiger Army. At this moment, the army is still stationed outside the city, and they are helping the people rebuild the city.”

”But without support from the Imperial Court, their provisions are only enough for at most 2 weeks. So, I want to go there and send some supplies.”

When they heard this, everyone exchanged glances.

Although they were also called barbarians, the Elamu Tribe wouldn’t treat their war captives or the people living in the cities they captured badly.

Those barbarians who took the Northeast City were from another tribe, the Alla Uly Tribe. This tribe was known as the most ruthless tribe living in the desert region.

Due to the climate of their homeland, they lacked food and water. So, it was common for them to drink blood and eat human flesh when they faced severe food shortages.

Whenever they captured people, they would raise them as two-legged lambs and slaughter them when they had no food.

Even though the Elamu Tribe was also part of the barbarians, they despised the Alla Uly Tribe’s cruelty toward human life. Therefore, they had a bad relationship that started from their founding ancestors and lasted for hundreds of years.
