The Princess of Lucifer

“ Hello, “ Ingvild said after a minute. She had to admit these girls are very good as even she was enchanted by them.

“ so um why are we here again, isn’t it more suitable to go to the club room or even the gymnasium if you are here to recruit me “ Ingvild asked this very important question. You know a normal person would probably run away just because of how scary this place is.

“Well um the thing is this is actually our club building, “ Asami said awkwardly as her voice grew smaller.

“Wait what “ Ingvild asked doubting her hearing for a minute.

“Yes although this is a bit embarrassing what the president said was the truth. This place used to be the old gymnasium that has been used by the cheerleader club for ages. “ Asuka said after seeing their president was too embarrassed to explain.

“ But this building looked like it had been abandoned for ages, and shouldn’t the student council give a budget to make this place presentable? “ Ingvild said as she looked at the building. Now that she was observing it carefully she could make out some details that proved this building was once a gymnasium.

Previously she was so preoccupied with her situation that she missed such details. But even so, she couldn’t understand why this building was not cared for like the others. You know every year school designates a budget for every club.

“Well, the thing is student council can’t really give us a budget as technically our cheerleader club isn’t officially recognized. “ Chika explained with an innocent smile with a bit of sadness.

“ yes, for a club to be officially recognized they must have at least 10 members. If not the student council wouldn’t officially recognize these clubs and designate a budget for them. So the small clubs usually handle the finances by themselves. “ Asami said with bitterness in her voice.

“ But we all come from poor backgrounds so it is very hard for us to collect enough money to remould this place. “ Asuka sighed dejectedly.

“ But shouldn’t there be anything the school can do? I’m sure there should be a procedure to ask for some help in remolding this place. “ Ingvild asked. This was getting more confusing every second. Although the school usually lets the students manage their own finances if it is something as big as remolding a whole building I’m sure they would more than be ready to help.

Especialy with this school being under the control of the Gremory household. Ingvild had heard how much this clan liked to spend resources on what they found interesting. I’m sure rebuilding the cheerleader club would very much interest them.

“ well, we tried before but petition we need a teacher as a granter. And due to the past incident, no teacher is willing to take in charge of the Cheerleader club “ Hina the shy girl said with tears almost coming out of her pretty eyes. She was the one who went to convince the teachers repeatedly but everything she came back with no results.

“ and with our club building looking like this we couldn’t even convince more new members so the option of getting a budget is also not possible. “ Asuka said with a sigh.

“ Oh “ Ingvild wanted to ask what happened in the past but looking at the sad faces of all the members she didn’t have the heart to do that. She would just ask Roxanne to investigate this after school.

“ so the reason why you want me to join the cheerleader club is because..” Ingvild asked as she looked at Asami,

Asami had a wry smile as she said, “ I’m sorry but as you may have already guessed the reason we want you to join is because we need a sponsor to keep our club running. “. She then bowed down and said, “I’m sorry but will you please join the cheerleader club “

“ But how were you so sure I’m rich? And isn’t Roxanne a better choice for you? That girl had never concealed how rich she is . “ Ingvild asked with a raised eyebrow.

Asami hesitated for a moment before saying, “Well we already know your identity as the famous singer Nightingale “

“Wait what how, “ Ingvild asked in shock, completely losing her composure. She made sure her identity would never be revealed. Even though she didn’t take excessive precautions like Roxanne there should be no way her identity would be revealed.

‘ wait ‘ Ingvild suddenly realized something and looked at the girl named Hikari. That girl was no doubt the reason why her identity was revealed. Although she didn’t recognize her she perfectly recognized the look she gave when she saw her.

It was a look she was all too familiar with. The fanatic look of a fan. If she guessed correctly this girl may have been the one who realised her identity. Although she always wore a mask to hide her identity it isn’t impossible for those fanatics to recognize her just by her body shape or even worse her voice.

No magic can block those perverts unless one decides to change their form completely. Even then it isn’t 100% safe. There might be a big pervert like Issei who could communicate with boobs.

Looking at Ingvild’s terrified eyes as she looked at Hikari, Asumi had a complicated expression. Truth be told, even she was very disturbed when she heard how Hikari recognized Ingvild.

After all, which girl wouldn’t get creeped out if they found that someone could identify you by just looking at their backside?

Had it not for the dire situation they are currently in she would have never agreed to this crazy plan Yui proposed.

Their plan was to bring Ingvild to their club building and somehow persuade her to join. And if that didn’t work threaten her to at least help them recruit enough members so they could be officially recognized by the student council and get the budget needed for the repairs.

“So um miss Ingvild, would please consider joining our club? This way we may be able to rope in more members into our club. “ Yui said with a wink. She knew others to hesitant to speak these words. So as the mastermind of this whole operation, Yui decided to be the villain until the very end.

Ingvild wanted to curse out loud hearing these words. What do you mean to consider? This is clearly a threat. If she disagreed she wouldn’t be able to enjoy her school without blowing up her cover. And how did this girl even know this high-level charm magic?

If she was not an Ultimate class being, Ingvild would have agreed to her demands readily without knowing what she was agreeing to.

‘Should I just make a run for it? I’m sure Roxanne has some memory-erasing and hypnotizing spells that make these girls forget about her entirely. ‘Ingvild considered this option seriously. Although she didn’t consider herself to be prideful even she didn’t like it when she was threatened.

But she hesitated when looking at the people in front of her. Although these guys are threatening her she didn’t sense any malice from them. The only feeling she is getting from them is helplessness.

‘ what should I do ‘ Ingvild thought looking at all of the bowing cheerleader members in silence.

After a whole five minutes, Ingvild finaly made her decision. She decided to follow one of Roxane’s many principles,

“ when things get complicated stop thinking and do what your heart desires. “
