The Princess of Lucifer

Roxanne didn’t immediately approach Azrael as there were many traps that her grandpa placed just in case. so she first had to diffuse them which barely took three minutes with Ciel’s help.  She also discreetly began to place some seals in case someone stupid came and start poking at things they are not supposed to do.

“All alright  You all might want to step back and brace yourselves “Saying these words Roxanne walked towards the throne. Although she didn’t say it out loud, what she is about to do is something even she would consider madness.

Inside her mind, she spoke to Ciel,

‘Ciel how many seals should I release for this ‘

[ I recommend releasing the seals of the fallen angel and angel bloodline. But mistress I would like to suggest creating a void barrier in case to avoid any interference while also isolating the area. ]

‘ hmm alright do as you wish,  then ciel let’s get this show started ‘

With her usual smile, she holds the necklace that her mother’s soul is. Then she like in a certain anime pulled away from the cross while chanting,

“I the daughter of Azrael the angel of death command thy to follow my will.  Show thy nature to the world again As I say the forbidden words you shall appear

Rise “

A cross began to glow and float in front of Roxanne. Soon it took the shape of a scythe that was about 4 feet. Runes flickered on its blade. The handle which is completely black glowed with dark blue designs. The once most feared weapon, the one coveted by many, the one which had the blessing of death itself, the weapon of Azrael once again showed its true form to the world.

While Artoria remained stoic, Michale and Gabriel’s expressions began to change drastically. Gabriel turned from shock to understanding. while Michael began to sweat heavily.  there was a rare sign of absolute fear in his eyes.

While this weapon is not known to many the ones who have even a little understanding of it will flee as soon as they hear of its name. This weapon is one of the many reasons why Azrael was feared by many. if it was any other weapons gods and such could use many methods to resurrect themselves in the likely case of them dying. But against this weapon, the chances went from probably to impossible. As a weapon that gained the protection of death, anyone who is killed by this weapon will be dead. Even if you managed to store half of your soul elsewhere to find a suitable weasel it would be pointless as the weapon would simply erase that half. it’s just a matter of seconds

Roxanne began to spin it a few times to get a good feel for it as she didn’t wield it for a long time. and what she is about to do is something that needs her full concentration so there should be no errors.

After familiarizing herself with her weapon she took a deep breath and exhaled it. She then said in her mind,

‘ Ciel release the seals.’

A dome-like barrier erupted with her as the center. Then the usual sounds of chains being broken were heard.

And almost instantly a heavy aura of Death began to wash over everyone. Michael and Gabriel even had to use holy magic to protect themselves from being affected by the negative emotions the aura brought. As for Astoria, her sword began to do its magic as it also erected a barrier that protected her. When she saw everyone is doing fine, for now, Ciel proceeded to unseal more of the seals.

The dense deadly aura intensified with more chains were being broken. Soon Roxanne’s wings began to materialize.

Unlike earlier she now has  8 pairs of fallen angel wings. This time Roxanne is not fooling around so she went all out. So she broke the seal that restricts her from using her bloodline and authority to the fullest.

Roxanne slowly opened her eyes which were now turned Golden with lightning flashing through them. A sign that said she broke one of the seals that contained her angel bloodline.

As much as it would be amusing to see a reaction, the world is not ready to witness someone who broke the balance with her own birth. For her to release it without facing any backlash her grandfather must be here. And she just needs one object to resurrect him.

So for now she hides her angel powers by camouflaging them with her fallen angel powers. And she only needed them for one reason after all.

Soon she began to concentrate on the throne and with extreme speed she cut the air that’s what it looked like on the outside but in reality, she was just cutting the strings of fate that were holding onto the body. There were also some which were connected to the system so she had to be extra careful. You don’t wanna accidentally cut a line that issues a command of self-detonation after all.

” Ok, Mother it’s time for you to go” With this thought she plunged the scythe into Azrael’s body.

Soon a magic circle with gold and black colours was manifested.

In a language that only the ancient beings could understand she said, “Resurrection”. The magic circle began to spin madly and a blinding light erupted beginning to blind everyone. The third heaven which was always dark for the first time became as bright as the 6th.

When the light died down Roxanne could be seen panting on the ground while holding the scythe as a cane. Despite this the big smile on her face said everything.

Soon the eyelashes of the Azrael’s body began to twitch. Slowly but surely she began to open them, making the audience gasp in shock and happiness.

This day  The angel of death Azrael opened her eyes after centuries of sleep.

“ Big sister” shouted Gabriel as she dashed towards Azrael and hugged. Tears began to come out of her eyes. She really missed her big sister.

“ You are still as a crybaby as before “ the melodious voice of Azrael rang in the air as she hugged Gabriel back.

Roxanne who was still panting got up with the help of Artoria. But despite her exhaustion, she still managed to stand up and walk towards her mother.

Gabriel broke the hug and made way for Azrael. The mother and daughter duo need this.

Azrael scooped her daughter in a hug while crying. “ I’m finally able to touch my baby. “ she mumbled while covering her wings over her protectively.

They stayed like that for a few minutes until Roxanne had rested enough to walk again. Dealing with souls is always very taxing.

And what she did more was not just replace her mother’s soul. She first had to cut off her body from the system’s control while substituting herself so it would not break the flow of souls. Then she used her death powers to place the soul from the scythe to the body while also casting a healing spell to heal any injuries she had. And she had to do this in a matter of seconds as the soul can’t exist in the physical world without any anchor or it would dissipate into nothingness.

This is why she had to release her angel powers as angels are the best healing magic users there are.

And to finish this all together she had to give Azrael her system authority as the angel of death as Roxanne herself couldn’t be one due to the single reason being she has to reseal herself. Well, it was actually the easiest to do since she has access to the system directly.

‘ But this is all worth it ‘ Roxanne thought as she began to fall unconscious. It looks like she isn’t all that well after all.

But before she could fall down, a pair of slender hands caught her.

“ this girl… she is still as reckless as ever. I guess she got that trait from him after all “

That’s all she could hear before she went into the dream world.
