Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don’t Mess Around!

Chapter 5153: Multiple CheckpointsEditor: Henyee Translations

After the fourth level of parachute training was over, they would enter the fifth level—actual combat training. It was followed by the last level, which was also the last level to become a top airborne soldier. They had to acquire combat capabilities and combat skills, and they had to undergo training in different areas such as night, water, jungle, desert, grassland, plateau, island, bridge, and more. These were are all levels that Ye Jian had to pass.

Ye Jian, who only had half a year, wished that she could have more time in a day. Completing the fifth level of actual combat training required at least a year, and she only had two months.

However, all that was not difficult for Ye Jian. As a special forces soldier, she had already completed all kinds of regional training. Hence, Ye Jian only needed to complete the airborne soldier skills training that she had never participated in before.

Two months was enough for Ye Jian.

The small transport plane carrying the female soldiers had already left the ground and sailed into the night sky. The female soldiers sitting in the cabin hugged their parachutes. Their high spirits had stabilized. The moment they boarded the plane from the cabin door, this group of outstanding female airborne soldiers had already adjusted their condition to their peak. Their expressions were calm, and they remained quiet.

The signal light lit up. The female soldiers were the first to jump out of the door. Their slender but fearless figures bravely looked at the starry night sky.

The stars were resplendent, and the moon was clear. The female soldiers jumped out of the door one after another. Their parachutes opened with a bang. At this moment, they were the brightest stars in the night sky.

The transport plane carrying the special reconnaissance soldiers were flying in another direction. Tonight, Ye Jian needed to complete the 1,000-meter high jump training. The area she would land was a place filled with gravel and lacking trees.

What surprised Ye Jian was that this night landing was at the place where she and Principal Chen trained together. However, the night landing location was different.

Ye Jian, who jumped from 1,000 meters in the air, felt pain on her face. The air pressure squeezed her chest so hard that she felt like she was going to vomit blood at any moment. The pressure only disappeared when her two parachutes were opened.

Ye Jian landed on the ground and untied her parachutes. She stood at the place she came to a few years ago and looked at the scenery she had seen before. Her eyes gradually became moist.

’Uncle Chen, I’m back, but you’re not by my side anymore.’

The wind blew past her ears gently like the warm hands of an elder. Ye Jian raised her hand and wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. She quickly walked toward the gathering point.

She didn’t have much time to feel sad. Uncle Chen didn’t want her to delay her training because of her sadness. Her hard work was the best tribute to Uncle Chen.

Captain Lei, who jumped first, saw Ye Jian’s figure appear in the night. There was a faint smile on his resolute face. The harsh training didn’t suppress the figure that was running over. Instead, it made her braver and faster.

The 1,000-meter night landing was completed. The next round of training could begin.

The female soldiers who completed the night landing returned with smiles on their faces. They were almost at the entrance of the dormitory. The deputy squad leader signaled the female soldiers to be careful so that they wouldn’t wake Ye Jian up.

The female soldiers, who were familiar with their dormitory, didn’t need to turn on the lights to move normally. They didn’t know if it was because Captain Lei had reprimanded Ye Jian in front of them, but everyone deliberately lightened their footsteps. Lu Hui, who always liked to talk, kept her mouth shut as well.
