Ascendant Path of a Lustful Vampire

Chapter 613: I don’t think I like your attitude *

”That’s a dangerous plan. Philip is resourceful. Having him anywhere near that Blood is... unwise,” Athenodora said.

Caius shrugged.

”Eh, it’s not like you could avoid him with him dogging your steps,” he said.

”You underestimate me,” Athenodora said, ”If I want to ditch Philip, I can and I will.”

”But this way, you won’t have to,” Caius said. Thinking that he really needed to get his point across to her, he grabbed Athenodora’s shoulders and stared deep into her eyes,

”Trust me. We need to go for the Blood now. And for that, we’ll need Philip.”

Athenodora held his gaze for a full minute and then let out a sigh with a resigned smile on her lips.

”Fine,” she said, ”But that Blood is mine.”

”Okay,” Caius answered.

”No,” Athenodora said and grabbed his chin gently but firmly, ”Caius, when we get to that Blood, whatever you do, whatever you have planned, that Blood is mine. You understand?”

Caius felt the coils of her order wrap around him through the Blood he had gotten from her, binding him by her words and ensuring he could not disobey. Ensuring that whatever dubious plans he had in mind would falter in the face of his duty to obey his creator.

Caius smiled.

”I wish you’d trust me to keep my word,” he said, ”But yes, I understand you.”

As he spoke, Caius dropped his hands from Athenodora’s shoulders. Her smile became a lot more relaxed and confident, and although she released his chin, her hand only dropped to his neck, her finger trailing across the fang marks she had put on his neck earlier and drank from. Caius hadn’t had the time or opportunity to heal the bite mark what with the interruption and all that had happened since.

”I assume there’s much to prepare if we’re to pull this off,” Athenodora said.

”Well, you seem to be well on your way already,” Caius said, ”A few days before your reservoir is full enough, you said?”

”I did,” Athenodora said, ”So stay still so I can fill today’s quota.”

Caius said nothing and just kept his smile as he cocked his head as though presenting his neck to Athenodora’s appetite.

Athenodora dropped her hand to Caius’s shoulder as she leaned in, wasting no time sinking her fangs perfectly into the marks she had already made in his neck, drawing out Caius’s blood with a delighted fervor.

Caius stood still as she had asked. The sensation of being bitten and fed on wasn’t unpleasant. Even the sharp sting of the initial pierce of the fangs didn’t bring debilitating pain. Besides the fainting and the momentary fear of death on that first day when he first arrived at the palace, Caius dared to say he liked the feeling of being fed on. Still, for the past week that he had been Athenodora’s blood pack, Caius had taken on a very detached attitude toward it.

This time wasn’t different and he let his mind wander as Athenodora let out a moan apparently at how good his blood tasted.

And then she pulled away.

”You’re distracted,” she said.

”I am?” Caius asked innocently.

Athenodora smirked.

”All week it’s been that way. I thought it was because you were hiding something. But now you’ve told me everything so why are you still distracted?

You have told me everything, haven’t you?”

Caius smiled.

”Just get it over with,” he said.

”Oh? I don’t think I like your attitude,” Athenodora said in a teasing tone.

Caius rolled his eyes and opened his mouth to retort, but Athenodora cut him off, wrapping her leg around his and yanking him off his feet so he fell to the ground with a thud.

Caius groaned.

”What are you—?” He started to say in an annoyed voice when Athenodora placed a finger on his lips.

”Shhh, can you hear that?” She asked.

Caius paused to listen on instinct but the room was silent except for the sound of his and Athenodora’s breathing and the beating of their hearts.

”What am I supposed to be listening for?” Caius asked.

Athenodora smiled.

”Our heartbeats have synchronized,” she said.

Caius listened and she wasn’t wrong.

”Exciting, isn’t it?” Athenodora said, amused.

”It’s something,” Caius said in a slightly apathetic tone.

”Oh, dearie, you have to try better than that to get me to buy your disinterest,” Athenodora said as she settled herself atop Caius even better, moving back until her ass was on top of his groin.

Athenodora leaned down then, letting out her breath against Caius’s ear, tickling and exciting him. She let out her tongue and licked the fang marks in Caius’s neck, lapping up the few drops of blood that had seeped out of the needle-sized holes.

Athenodora trembled in excitement at the taste of Caius’s blood and the way her body moved caused her tits to rub against Caius’s chest in a very enticing way. But this wasn’t new; It had happened every time she fed on Caius this week actually but today, with Athenodora making a point to break past Caius’s faux apathy, it was hard for him to ignore how good they felt against him.

Although Caius did make a point to be detached from this feeding routine all week, he usually had genuine things to occupy his mind with. Today was no different and with the great undertaking ahead of them, and the potential stabbing of Philip in the back to work out, Caius truly had enough to distract him until Athenodora was done and he could leave so she could pass out in her trance again.

Alas, all distractions practically flew out of his mind as she rocked her body against his. Her full tits pressed up against his chest, nipples poking through the thin material of the black gown she always favored— How in all hell was Caius of all people supposed to ignore that?

Caius clenched his hand into a fist and when that failed, he spread out his fingers grabbing at the ground for some anchor to help him control himself. And then, with a sigh, he gave up. He raised his hand and placed it on the small of Athenodora’s back.

Athenodora smiled against Caius’s neck and let out a moan that caused him to shiver. As he shivered, Caius trailed his hand down and cupped Athenodora’s ass, prompting her to take her fangs out of his neck and raise herself to look down at him with a ravishing smile.

”There you go. Doesn’t that make it all so much more interesting?” she said, ”Now hold that position while I treat myself to more of that delicious blood of yours.”

Caius pressed a hand against the ground and raised himself into a sitting position, one hand still on Athenodora’s ass while he wrapped his other arm around her back, securing her in his hold.

”Oh, I don’t hate this,” Athenodora quipped and returned her fangs to Caius’s neck, sucking out his blood with more fervor than she had used already.

Caius groaned and buried his face in the crook of her neck in turn with his fingers splayed across Athenodora’s back. His hand gripped her ass even harder as though to hold on as Athenodora rolled her hips on top of him, pressing her knees hard against the ground for leverage to grind herself on Caius’s groin.

”Ah, such excitement in your pants,” Athenodora said with a sudden gasp and then cooed, ”Doesn’t it feel better to not act like you don’t enjoy being with mommy?”

”Quit the ’mommy’ talk, will you?” Caius snapped.

”You don’t like it?” Athenodora asked slyly.

”I don’t.”

”Liar. You twitched at my ’mommy’ talk. Besides, I only speak the truth. Denying our relationship when it makes this so much hotter... shame on you,” Athenodora said in the tone of a chastising mother.

With a groan, Caius struggled and failed to contain his excitement. His cock did grow larger when she spoke like that and after it gave an even greater lurch—one that threatened to burst through his pants—he knew Athenodora must have felt it and felt vindicated.

Sure enough, she chuckled, grabbed his chin, and leaned back to take in his face before drawing closer and letting out her tongue to lick his lips.

Caius opened his mouth on reflex and the next time Athenodora licked his lips, she let her tongue enter his mouth ever so slightly, enticingly to the point where, as she pulled out, she also pulled Caius closer.

Their lips met and the two took a sharp breath. Caius tightened his arm around Athenodora’s back, his hand grabbing her side to secure her against his body. His other hand reveled in the feel of her ass which it was still grabbing.

Athenodora wrapped an arm around Caius’s neck. The tattoos that adorned the length of her arm gleamed in the red hue of the cocoon. She didn’t drop the hand she had grabbed Caius’s chin with from his face and instead worked her way up, grabbing locks of Caius’s hair and securing his lips against hers. All the while grinding herself onto his ever-hardening cock.
