Death… And Me

Chapter 1230: Powerful

Liana was surprised to hear that and took a look. Sure enough, far in the distance, it was possible to see a few spots of light on the ground. ”The light definitely fits the description! Great! Not only did I get one complete Yin Ghost Core, I even found the flowers!”

Liana then looked at the twins, telling them, ”Iʼm obviously sharing the Merit Points of the Yin Ghost Core with you two. You donʼt need to worry about that.”

Rean and Roan shook their heads after hearing that. They didnʼt have much use for Merit Points other than the ranking board of the Sacred Land. However, if Rean wanted Merit Points right now, he could definitely sell his equipment for a lot of them. It was quite unfortunate that he couldnʼt receive Rank Three Divine Stones as payment since itʼs a rule of the Sacred Land. ”Thereʼs no need. We did get rid of the rest of the ghosts, but the one that really mattered after our breakthrough was the ghost with a complete Yin Ghost Core. Since you did the job, you can have the points.”

”But...” Liana didnʼt feel it was right. However, the twins didnʼt seem to care about it either. ”Alright, I wonʼt insist then.”

It didnʼt take long to arrive at the end of that corridor. Itʼs just that Liana didnʼt expect to find that many flowers. ”Holy shit! I couldnʼt see well because of the distance. But now, I could truly say that Iʼve struck gold.” She quickly and carefully collected the flowers into her spatial ring. ”37 Yin Flowers! This should be enough to complete my task seven times over.”

Roan nodded after hearing that. ”Good to hear. Now, if you want to head back, be my guest. You have gotten everything you needed, after all.” Sure enough, Roan took every opportunity to get rid of the nuisance.

Liana shook her head before she grabbed Kentuckyʼs wing. ”I still donʼt have him.”

Kentucky seemed very happy to hear that. ”If just Roan loved me as much as she does.”

Roan completely ignored Kentuckyʼs words. ”If you die later, it wonʼt be my problem. Letʼs go.”

Immediately, Roan dashed away in the direction of the concentration of Dark Element he was feeling. Since Kentucky was also feeling the same presence in the form of a high-level ore, it was probably the thing Roan needed.

Along the way, they found other ghosts and even bumped into one more group. However, both occasions didnʼt become anything serious. There were no ghosts with complete Yin Ghost Cores, nor did the group they met cause any trouble for them. Around thirty minutes later...

ʼRean!ʼ Roan called Reanʼs attention.

Immediately, they used Light and Divine Sense bending skills, completely vanishing from sight. However, no one seemed to be heading their way, so Rean, Liana, and Kentucky were confused. ʼCan you feel someoneʼs presence?ʼ

Roan nodded, telling them, ʼYes. It seems like a few people who can control Dark Element to a decent extent are ahead. However, theyʼre not moving. Theyʼre all waiting in the same place. Letʼs wait here for a moment to see if they will move.ʼ

Rean and the others nodded after that. However, several minutes went by, and nothing changed. Roan could tell that no one was leaving their spot, as if they were waiting for something.

Suddenly, another group appeared and passed by Reanʼs group without noticing them. However, that group happened to do the same thing and stop in the same place.

ʼMost likely, thereʼs an obstacle ahead of those groups, although I canʼt see it since we havenʼt arrived there yet,ʼ Roan could not help but say.

Liana could not help but ask after that, ʼShould we go back and try to find another route, then? Oh, right! Is the Lifeʼs Nemesis Rock in that direction to start with?ʼ

ʼIt is.ʼ Roan and Kentucky nodded at the same time. It wasnʼt certain yet if it really was Lifeʼs Nemesis Rocks, but the thing they could feel the presence from was definitely in that direction.

It was then that Rean had an idea. ʼWait! We judged that the Blood Path Sect is looking for Peak Stage Soul Transformation Realm cultivators, right? Just as Liana mentioned, one would be crazy to try a breakthrough in this place. Now that weʼre all in the Initial Stage of the Saint Realm, shouldnʼt we be in the clear? At the very least, the Blood Path Sect wonʼt think weʼre the people theyʼre looking for. Of course, that doesnʼt mean weʼre out of danger. But we could at least move a bit more freely.ʼ

Roan and Liana were surprised to hear that. However, Liana immediately found a problem. ʼThey did see that I was with all of you, didnʼt they? They also saw your appearance and mine. Last but not least, thereʼs Kentucky. Heʼs at Stage Seven now, but other than getting bigger, he still looks pretty much the same.ʼ

ʼOh! Thatʼs not an issue at all.ʼ Rean then touched Kentucky before the Demon Bird completely disappeared from sight. Obviously, he sent Kentucky into the Soul Gem Dimensional Realm. One must remember that those connected to Rean and Roan had a free pass inside. Also, they were obviously in no danger whatsoever at the moment, so the system wasnʼt blocking the entrance.

ʼWhat?!ʼ Liana opened her eyes in shook! How did Rean make Kentucky disappear like that? No spatial ring should be that big. Even if it was, it shouldnʼt allow living things inside. ʼHow did you do that?! Where is he right now?ʼ

Rean smiled in response. ʼDonʼt worry, donʼt worry. We got something from Elder Etherian, thatʼs all.ʼ Rean didnʼt care about using Etherianʼs name at all. It was very convenient.

ʼOne of the Ten Greats!ʼ Obviously, Liana still remembered when Etherian intervened for the twins during the recruitment. ʼI see... only someone like Elder Etherian could possibly have spatial equipment that allows life inside.ʼ

Suddenly, Rean touched Lianaʼs shoulders sometime later. ʼNow then, time for the second transformation.ʼ

ʼWhat are you going t-ʼ Before Liana could finish asking, a huge burst of Light Element entered her, entering every single cell in her body. The intention was obviously to change her body structure to look like a different person. Rean had done it many times in the past, so he was used to it and could finish everything very quickly. Last but not least, it was only temporary. Once the Light Element wore off, she would be back to normal.

*Moan!*

Well, Light Element was still Light Element. Liana had never felt so good in her life. It was the first time that Liana reached... climax. And her climax... was quite powerful.
