The Feng Shui Treasure Appraiser

487: Chapter 487 Heinous CrimesAs soon as Han Jingyang spoke, Liu Jiansheng confessed everything.

Trembling, Liu Jiansheng hurriedly replied, ”Zhou Xingguang, Zhou Xingguang, he’s the one who taught me to say that.”

”A Taoist priest, the abbot of Yuming Temple. He’s very famous in Xi’an and knows many wealthy businessmen. It’s said he is highly skilled in Feng Shui Arts.”

”He’s that famous?”

”Extremely. It’s said his appearance fee alone exceeds a hundred thousand yuan.”

”How could you know someone of that level?”

”I... I spent a lot of money too,” Liu Jiansheng lowered his head and explained softly. ”Tingting’s father started making more and more money under the guidance of that Taoist named Zhang Fazhong. So, I spent a fortune to find Zhou Xingguang. Before the New Year, Zhou Xingguang said my opportunity hadn’t arrived yet and told me to wait for the right moment. We had almost no contact in between until this afternoon, when he called to tell me the time had come. He said if I seized the opportunity, I could... I could soar to success.”

Han Jingyang let out a furious huff. ”She’s your own niece; how could you bring yourself to do it?”

”Zhou Xingguang said... said that it originally belonged to me. He said it was the conversion of our Liu family’s fortune, and it should have fallen upon me as the eldest son. He said Tingting’s father used Feng Shui Arts to forcibly steal the opportunity that belonged to me, and that what’s happening now is just a backlash. I’m just taking back what’s rightfully mine as a matter of course...”

Han Jingyang was so angered by these words that he laughed.

That motherf*cking demonic priest!

Having such malicious intent!

Doing nothing good!

One directly kills to steal treasure.

Another plays the mantis stalking the cicada to silence witnesses.

And there’s another hiding in the shadows, sowing discord and stirring up trouble.

Each one was more wicked than the last!

Wicked to the core!

He had seen a few Taoists in Quancheng, but why had he never seen ones with such corrupt intentions?

Xi’an was supposed to be the stronghold of Taoism, with Zhongnan Mountain covered in temples and a strong local culture of following the Dao. How did it end up producing such scum?

And these were only the ones he could see.

What about the ones he couldn’t see?

Han Jingyang took a few deep breaths, forcing himself to calm down.

Zhou Xingguang, was it?

This matter was far from over!

Thinking this, he suppressed his anger and continued to interrogate Liu Jiansheng until the man had confessed everything.

He didn’t deal with Liu Jiansheng personally.

This man was no good, but the culprit was Zhou Xingguang, who led people toward evil.

Without Zhou Xingguang’s instigation, Liu Jiansheng wouldn’t have done such a thing.

As a Taoist priest, it was one thing not to lead people toward goodness.

But to lead people toward evil for his own selfish gain?

He deserved to die even more than people like Zhang Fazhong and Deng Faxin!

Not only was he inhuman himself, but he also dragged others down with him.

In ancient times, even death by a thousand cuts wouldn’t be too much.

Moreover, Zhou Xingguang’s target was him.

There might even be many other practitioners with bellies full of malice hiding behind Zhou Xingguang.

How could he not be angry?

How could he treat this lightly?

He was very strong.

He wasn’t afraid of facing anyone head-on.

But facing these rats and snakes hiding in the dark, even with his great abilities, he couldn’t be everywhere at once.

Now that he had finally caught this lead, how could he easily let it go?

Find Zhou Xingguang!

Kill Zhou Xingguang!

There was no need for pleasantries with such a heinous person.

Yuming Temple.

Zhou Xingguang.

Han Jingyang patted Liu Jiansheng’s cheek and said coldly, ”Be grateful to Liu Tingting. If it weren’t for your relationship with her, given your actions, you would have been subjected to ’three stabs and six holes’ long ago.”

After speaking, he led Liu Jing away, driving straight to Yuming Temple.

Yuming Temple was located in the western part of Xi’an.

It was in a bustling area.

The decor was exquisite.

White walls and gray tiles paired with blue stone floor tiles gave it a clean and natural look.

The main hall was also quite simple, not overly luxurious or grand.

Set against the backdrop of lush green pines and cypresses, it appeared exceptionally quiet—a perfect retreat in the middle of the city.

However, ordinary people couldn’t enter.

A young Taoist priest was guarding the door, politely stopping Han Jingyang and Liu Jing. ”You two, this is a non-public area and not a tourist attraction. No entry without an invitation.”

Han Jingyang looked the young priest up and down, then smiled and cupped his hands. ”Is Taoist Priest Zhou Xingguang in?”

”May I ask who you are...”

”I’ve come because of his reputation,” Han Jingyang said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out two bundles of crisp red banknotes. ”I have a big business deal, a hundred times bigger than this.”

He was holding twenty thousand in cash; a hundred times bigger meant a deal worth over two million.

The young priest’s eyes instantly glazed over. He immediately bowed and gestured with his hand. ”Sir, please come inside.”

Han Jingyang smiled and casually stuffed the two bundles of cash into the young priest’s hand. ”Is Priest Zhou busy right now?”

”Not busy, not busy. He hasn’t gone out for three or four days.”

”No visitors either?”

”Of course there are, and quite a few too. There are devotees and fellow practitioners. He just hosted a group of believers this morning.”

”Can I see him now?”

”That won’t do. You have to make an appointment with Senior Brother Liu Shiyang first and then wait for notification. However, sir, you clearly aren’t an ordinary person and are here for big business, so I’m sure you won’t have to wait long. If the abbot is free, he might even see you immediately.”

Han Jingyang asked for information as they walked.

Under the influence of the twenty thousand yuan, the young priest told him everything he could and couldn’t say.

This continued until they bypassed the main hall and entered the rear wing.

He patted the young priest’s shoulder. ”Thanks.”

The young priest waved his hand with a beaming smile. ”No need for thanks, no need. It’s only what I should do.”

”Right. And also, I should say I’m sorry.”

”Huh? Wh-why?”

”You’ll find out soon enough.” Han Jingyang’s palm slid to the back of the young priest’s neck and gave it a light squeeze.

The young priest fell into a daze and lost consciousness, his body slumping limply to the ground.

Han Jingyang leaned over, reached into the young priest’s robe, and took back the twenty thousand in cash. He patted it in his hand, put it away, and chuckled. ”Don’t be so greedy in the future.”

With that, he nodded to Liu Jing and headed straight for the master bedroom where Zhou Xingguang lived.

Along the way, no one else stopped them.

Until they reached the door.

Just as he was about to knock, a young Taoist priest in his twenties opened the door and came out. Seeing Han Jingyang and Liu Jing, he froze. ”Who are you...”

Han Jingyang focused his gaze.

Great!

Another one who was rotten to the core. He had quite a few lives on his hands, and a dense cloud of black and red aura was hidden within the glow above his head. He was even more vicious than Deng Faxin, clearly a truly irredeemable villain.

His death would be no loss!

Han Jingyang took one look and drew his sword directly.

*Clang—*

He swung the sword.

The defenseless young priest didn’t even have time to dodge before his head was separated from his body, rolling into the room.

In the next second.

A fat Taoist priest in his forties, carrying a single-edged saber, rushed to the door like a black whirlwind. ”Who is it? How dare you come to Yuming Temple to kill!”

Before he could even steady himself, he swung his saber at Han Jingyang.

Han Jingyang narrowed his eyes!

This fat priest was not to be trifled with!

He was an expert.

The True Qi in his body was very abundant.

His Qi and blood were also vigorous enough.

He was a rare dual practitioner of magic and martial arts!

Although he wasn’t on the same level as Tian Chunming, he followed the same path.

Moreover, the fat priest was only in his forties. For a practitioner of both magic and martial arts, he was far from his peak and could still grow.

He was a formidable opponent!

Han Jingyang reached out to hold Liu Jing back while simultaneously charging forward with his sword, starting the fight without a word.

*Cling—*

Saber and sword clashed.

He only felt a powerful force travel through the sword, making his wrist ache from the vibration.

He was instantly alarmed.

This priest had such incredible strength!

Such powerful physical fitness!

He wouldn’t be easy to deal with!
