Fucked Raw By My Enemies

Ivy’s pov

The horrid, interesting thing about being a liar?

You get better at it as you go, and that was pretty worse.

”Thom-Thompson was my husband’s name,” I heard myself say, the words resounding in the thick silence of the room as all three brothers stared at me.

”H-Harpley is my maiden name.”

A choked, pained sound came from beside me. Roman turned, his body angling towards mine, and the look in his hazel eyes was so full of genuine, heart-wrenching sadness that it sent a sharp, unexpected pang of guilt straight through my chest.

”You’re married?”

I forced myself to meet his wounded gaze, hardening my heart with every single inch of me against the guilt eating deep in my chest.

But it wasn’t enough. I didn’t want to lie anymore. I was using my mother’s favorite name to call me, in such a horrid way; it sickened me.

Why are you doing this, Ivy bear?

”Not anymore,” I spat out. This had to be done.

This was the only way. It wasn’t like the Knight brothers were freaking saints. ”I left him when I moved to Wisteria six months ago.”

”Why?” Kai asked in a low, lazy drawl from where he leaned against the bookshelf his brother had me pressed against a few seconds ago. A shudder ripped down my spine.

Why?

Because he is an asshole. I wish so bad, every day, that I could actually leave Angel right now.

Tears, hot and humiliating, pricked the backs of my eyes, and I blinked rapidly to push them back. ”It’s personal, and I don’t appreciate sharing-”

Roman moved closer, his gentle fingers tilting my jaw up, making me meet his soft, tender gaze. There was nothing soft about his voice, though, when he spoke.

”Did he hurt you?”

Kai let out a short, cynical laugh. ”He cheated, didn’t he?”

I bit my bottom lip so hard I tasted blood, whipping my head to glare daggers at Kai. ”I said it’s personal.”

A lazy smirk played on his lips. ”Your defensiveness says it all, little Ivy. He sounds like a shithead.”

A snort escaped me, and I clapped a hand over my mouth to hide the laugh, my shoulders shaking.

”Is that all? May I be excused?” I managed, my voice muffled.

Gideon gave a curt nod without looking up from his desk, already lost in his work. Whew! Thank God.

Roman already took a step behind me, ready to follow me when Gideon’s voice stopped him.

”Ro, stay. We have a meeting in an hour. And Kai, where the hell is your shirt?”

”Aw, come on, G, just a few minutes,” Roman whined.

That was all I heard as I fled the study, closing the heavy door behind me. I was barely a few meters down the hallway when it was thrown open again.

Roman’s bare feet thudded on the carpet as he caught up to me, his arms wrapping around me from behind, pulling me back against his warm, solid chest. I shivered as his chin rested on my shoulder.

”Details,” he whispered, his breath warm against my ear. ”Where does the bastard live?”

”Why?” His forearm tightened under my breasts, and despite almost getting caught, my girls were so freaking eager to be touched again.

He laughed, a low, hearty sound that vibrated through my entire body. ”No reason, sweetheart, I just wanted to pay him a visit, see how he’s doing.”

Wouldn’t that be nice? I could tell him where Angel was, and he could send men to deal with that treacherous bastard, but then that would also mean sending him to my home.

Besides, didn’t I already lie that it was before I moved to Wisteria? I could not afford to be caught in a lie! I may not have a social media presence, but Angel was linked to his father, who was linked to my father. If they ever knew about him, I was doomed.

It was so touching, so sweet though, the way he eagerly wanted to fight for me... for a woman who didn’t even exist. The minute they knew Ivy Haprpley was Harper Kingsley... then it would be getting jumped instead of Angel.

And when they know, what do you plan to do?

An inner voice questioned.

I twisted in his arms, stepping away to face him, fighting the confusing war in my chest.

”Thank you, Roman. But I don’t know. It was a while ago. And frankly, I don’t care about that piece of shit. I’m fine now.”

His hazel eyes glowed green as he reached his left hand out, his thumb brushing softly over my lower lip; the calloused pad sent a delicious friction against my skin. A soft sigh escaped me, and those hazel eyes darkened.

”Vivi, it’s amazing how strong you are, you know that?” The gap between us seemed to reduce with every breath as he leaned in. His breath warmed my cheeks.

My breath hitched, my lips parting in anticipation.

”Ro! Gid says your five minutes are up, get your ass back in here!” Kai’s voice cut through the moment like a shard of glass.

My heart thumped harder as Roman’s eyes flickered to the study door before coming back to mine.

A slow, sunny grin spread across his face. He leaned in and pressed his lips to the corner of my mouth, sending hot thrills across my face down my neck and straight to my peaking nipples.

”See you later, Vivi.” I watched him jog back to the study, and just before he disappeared inside, I caught a flash of pure annoyance on Kai’s face.

I turned and ran down the hall, my hand pressed to my tingling lips, hiding my burning red face.

What on earth was that?

At the close of the day, the mansion was eerily quiet. None of the three brothers were home. I had gone back to check Gideon’s study, but couldn’t crack the safe, and he had gone to work with his laptop, so another day, another failure.

As I stepped out onto the porch, Harry was turning around the building with his shears, and his arm shot up in a wave.

”Ivy, girl, there was a delivery for ya,” he pointed to a black box on one of the steps leading out of the mansion.

”I called, but you were so deep inside, so I signed it off for ya. That okay?”

”Yes, Harry, thank you,” I beamed at him, rushing to pick up the box, my curiosity bubbling inside.

The black box opened to reveal an adorable, golden-brown fluffy teddy bear wearing a tiny leather jacket and a box of expensive, dark chocolates next to it.

What on earth? Was this delivered to the wrong house? As I lifted the bear, a small note fell onto the porch.

He’s a shithead, Little Ivy. Don’t think about shitheads.

A smile tugged at my lips. Kai, of all freaking people. They were supposed to be cruel and wicked, the villains in my father’s life.

So why did they do this? Why did they care? The guilt for lying to them was leaving a bitter taste in my mouth, but it had to be done.

After a long one-hour drive back home, I headed straight for the shower. As the hot water poured down on my skin and steam from the shower fogged up the glass, my mind kept replaying the near-kiss with Roman and being pressed up against that bookshelf, feeling Gideon’s hard, muscular thighs pressing against my ass.

A deep, insistent ache bloomed between my legs, my pussy throbbing hard. I was so slick and aching and God, I couldn’t stand it.

”I need to cum,”

Turning off the shower, I sauntered, wet and naked, into my bedroom, water droplets doing nothing to cool on my heated skin.

I yanked open my bedside drawer and pulled out my pink rose vibrator, flopped onto the bed, my legs falling open, my knees bent.

I turned it on and pressed the buzzing toy directly against my clit. It sent a shock of pleasure so sharp it stole my breath.

A choked gasp tore from my throat. My entire body trembled, the pleasure so intense.

My back arched off the bed. I spread my legs wider, my free hand sliding up my stomach to pinch my own nipple, twisting it until a mix of pleasure and pain shot through me.

I was so wet, rubbing the toy over my drenched pussy lips, wishing it was Gideon’s hand, his rough fingers pressing against me, his voice in my ear telling me what to do.

Don’t cum.

The vibrator slid lower, teasing my pussy entrance. I circled it, coating it in my slickness before pushing it inside my cunt. The pleasure was too much. I clamped my legs shut around the vibrator, trapping it, my hips bucking.

My phone rang on the nightstand, shrill and demanding. Kai’s name flashed on the screen.

”Oh fuck, what now?!”

Panting, I fumbled for it, my body still convulsing as I swiped to answer. ”Hello?”

”Spread those sexy legs wider, little Ivy.” his voice came through the speaker, low, rough, and raspy.

”I can’t see a fucking thing.”

What the hell?
