Beauty Chairwoman’s Bodyguard Expert

”Lin Demon, what are you doing.”

Bai Zhiqing was the first to notice this scene and instantly got really pissed, shooting Lu Tianxing a vicious glare.

”Nothing, just feeling a bit stuffy, that’s all.” Lin Yafei didn’t look embarrassed at all at being caught, instead she said with a smiling face.

”Hmph!”

Bai Zhiqing let out a heavy cold snort and said, ”Tell the driver to hurry up and drive, take us to eat.”

As she spoke, Bai Zhiqing fixed her gaze on Lu Tianxing, her tone anything but polite: ”You go sit in the very front.”

”Why?”

”Because I want to chat about some secrets with Lin Demon. You think it’s appropriate for a big grown man like you to sit and listen to women whispering?”

Lu Tianxing glanced at Bai Zhiqing, then at the secretly snickering Lin Yafei, shrugged helplessly, and didn’t expose Bai Zhiqing’s little scheme. He did as she said and went to sit in the front.

Watching Lu Tianxing obediently run to the front, Lin Yafei covered her mouth and chuckled, but she didn’t say anything about it. After all, everyone cares about face. Lu Tianxing might not give a damn, but who knew if Bai Zhiqing would suddenly flip out on her.

...

Man Shiyali Western Restaurant—just from the name you could tell it was a Western restaurant, and a very high-end one at that. Ordinary people would be scared off just looking at it. Order a few nicer dishes and there goes a month’s salary; throw in a bottle of aged red wine, and that’s basically half a year’s wages gone.

So the people who could come in here were definitely rich or powerful.

The place was done up in a fusion of Chinese and Western styles, and the environment was very elegant. At least among all the Western restaurants Lu Tianxing had seen, few could compare with this one.

Inside, at each table sat well-dressed successful types. Soft music floated in the air, making people’s hearts unconsciously relax.

The moment the three of them walked in, they immediately drew a lot of attention. After all, both Bai Zhiqing and Lin Yafei were top-tier beauties with extraordinary temperament; of course they attracted eyes.

After entering, the three of them picked a table by the window and sat down.

Lu Tianxing didn’t stand on ceremony at all. He picked up the menu on the table and flipped through it, grumbling, ”I really hate this Western food crap. Why do you have to use knives and forks? What’s wrong with chopsticks? I’ll order a few extra steaks later; only then will I actually get full.”

Hearing him, Bai Zhiqing and Lin Yafei both had metaphorical black lines all over their faces. Did this bastard even know what ”manners” meant? Coming to a Western restaurant to eat and still planning to ask for chopsticks—how much of a freak did you have to be?

”Mm, little man, you’re not wrong, this Western restaurant really isn’t anything special. How about we change places? I’ll treat you to a big meal instead. I can even cook for you myself.” Lin Yafei looked at Lu Tianxing with smiling eyes.

Bai Zhiqing snorted coldly at the side. ”Lin Demon, if you don’t talk, no one will think you’re mute.”

”Then I won’t talk.”

Lin Yafei nodded decisively, but her beautiful eyes fell on Lu Tianxing, as if they could speak, constantly teasing him with her gaze.

Seeing this, the displeasure in Bai Zhiqing’s eyes thickened even more. ”Lin Demon, what do you think you’re doing.”

Lin Yafei didn’t speak. She just pointed at Bai Zhiqing, then at her own mouth, as if to say, Weren’t you the one who told me not to talk?

”You...”

Bai Zhiqing was so angry at Lin Yafei that she couldn’t get a sentence out. This demon really was immune to both soft and hard tactics.

Seeing the two women about to go at it again, Lu Tianxing hurriedly waved at a server.

A waitress who had been waiting nearby immediately walked over politely, giving Lu Tianxing a slight bow. ”Honored sir, it’s my pleasure to serve you. What would you and these two beautiful ladies like to order?”

Lu Tianxing glanced through the menu and ordered a bottle of ’83 Lafite. The price of the wine made the young waitress’s face bloom into a smile.

But when it came to the steak, Lu Tianxing directly ordered five portions, and on top of that he asked for a pair of chopsticks, which left the girl puzzled.

”Sir, are you still expecting other friends? And also, what do you need chopsticks for?” The girl looked at him curiously. It was the first time she’d heard of someone asking for chopsticks in a Western restaurant.

”Nope. One portion won’t fill me up, so I ordered two more.”

Lu Tianxing said as if it were the most natural thing in the world, ”And anyway, I’m not used to knives and forks. I want to use chopsticks. Is that not allowed?”

Hearing this, the girl’s face went full black-line. ”Yes, of course, sir, please wait a moment.”

As soon as the words left her mouth, she almost ran off in a hurry. She was really afraid she’d burst out laughing if she stayed any longer. Coming to a Western restaurant and still wanting to get full, and using chopsticks to eat steak—Lu Tianxing was absolutely a freak among freaks.

Watching the girl flee in a panic, Bai Zhiqing and Lin Yafei both had black lines on their faces, but they didn’t say anything. As far as they were concerned, as long as their man was happy, that was enough. Besides, eating was about being comfortable to begin with. Why care so much about everything else?

”Ding-dong~.”

Right at that moment, Lin Yafei’s phone started vibrating. She immediately took it out of her bag, and when she saw the message, her pupils shrank slightly.

”What is it, what happened?” Seeing her expression, Lu Tianxing immediately asked.

”See for yourself.”

With that, Lin Yafei handed him the phone.

Lu Tianxing took a look at the screen, then handed it back to her. ”I wasn’t planning on hiding my whereabouts anyway. If the news gets out, it gets out. It’s not like they’d dare make a big move on me. Don’t worry, they don’t dare touch me for now.”

”Little man, you really aren’t worried?” Lin Yafei looked at him and asked again.

”What is there to worry about? You two can relax. They don’t dare do anything to me, at least they won’t tear things open with me in public.”

With a faint smile on his face, Lu Tianxing signaled for her to calm down. ”You two sit here for a bit, I’m going to the restroom.”

As he spoke, he gave Bai Zhiqing and Lin Yafei a small smile, stood up, asked a waiter for directions, and then walked toward the restroom.

Watching his back as he left, the smile on Lin Yafei’s face gradually faded. Her eyes turned a little distant as she looked at Bai Zhiqing. Taking a deep breath, she said, ”Little Qingqing, you really should try to persuade Tianxing to leave Beijing. Right now Beijing is too dangerous for him, it’s absolutely not a place to stay long.”
