Beauty Chairwoman’s Bodyguard Expert

Because of the pain coming from his cheek, the muscles on Wei Xu’s face were completely twisted, and there was a deep fear in his voice: ”I...I know I was wrong, I’m begging you, spare me this once....”

”What I’m asking is whether you’re willing to give me an explanation.”

Cold light flashed in Lu Tianxing’s eyes, and his tone grew heavier.

It was as if Wei Xu hadn’t heard Lu Tianxing at all; he just kept mumbling on his own, ”Mr. Lu, I’m begging you, spare me, I won’t dare again, I can promise you, once I leave here, I’ll never show up on Qin Island again....”

”Looks like you still don’t understand what I said. Then I’ll teach you some more reason.”

As his words fell, Lu Tianxing’s arm lifted again, and he swung another vicious slap across.

Before Wei Xu could react, the slap had already landed on his face.

”Smack!”

The slap crashed hard onto Wei Xu’s face, instantly leaving five horrid red marks, and trickles of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.

”Smack!”

Another slap, this time hitting directly at the corner of Wei Xu’s mouth. Not only was his lip split open on the spot, but half his face swelled up, blood streaming, looking especially hideous and terrifying.

”Smack!”

It was as if Lu Tianxing had completely immersed himself in the feel of slapping someone. He ruthlessly landed several more slaps across Wei Xu’s face.

”Well? Tastes pretty good, doesn’t it? So, are you willing to give me a reasonable explanation now?” Lu Tianxing finally stopped his hand and looked at Wei Xu as he spoke.

At this moment, Wei Xu’s originally somewhat handsome face had completely turned into a pig’s head, blood all over his face. Just one look made people feel a sympathetic sting in their own cheeks.

”I’m begging you, let me go, let me go, okay? I won’t dare again.” Wei Xu lay on the ground, speaking weakly.

”Let you go?”

Lu Tianxing smiled as he said, ”Letting you go is of course no problem. But before that, I hope you can give me a reasonable explanation. Otherwise, even if I want to let you go, I can’t.”

”I...what kind of reasonable explanation do you want?” Wei Xu opened his mouth and said.

”Just now your woman wanted my daughter to kneel on the ground and apologize to her. Then I’ll copy the Murong Family’s way of doing things and return the favor in kind: you kneel on the ground and apologize to my daughter, and this matter ends here. Otherwise, we continue.” Lu Tianxing’s tone was calm and rippless.

Kneel on the ground and apologize?

Hearing Lu Tianxing’s words, the already swollen, pig-headed face of Wei Xu twisted even more viciously. He subconsciously wanted to speak: ”Mr. Lu....”

Before Wei Xu could finish, he was unceremoniously cut off by Lu Tianxing: ”What, you’re not willing to kneel and apologize?”

Wei Xu didn’t speak, but his motionless posture already clearly told everyone that he didn’t want to do it.

”If you won’t apologize, then die.”

A cold gleam shot out from Lu Tianxing’s eyes like a sharp arrow, stabbing straight into Wei Xu’s heart. Wisps of icy killing intent began to radiate from Lu Tianxing.

Feeling that dense killing intent from Lu Tianxing, Wei Xu suddenly felt his whole body go cold, as if he were standing right at the gates of the Ghost Gate. A fear like never before surged up from his heart.

Especially when he saw that pair of indifferent eyes of Lu Tianxing’s, the fear in Wei Xu’s heart spread even more. He had a feeling that Lu Tianxing wasn’t joking with him; if he didn’t do as told, Lu Tianxing really would kill him.

”Thud!”

Wei Xu dropped heavily to his knees, and the expression on his face twisted to the extreme in an instant.

Between life and dignity, Wei Xu clearly chose the former. In any case, he had already lost face once; he didn’t care about losing it one more time.

Compared to dying at Lu Tianxing’s hands, losing face again was no big deal. After all, there’s a saying: as long as the green hills remain, there will always be firewood to burn.

Seeing this scene, everyone was a bit stunned. No one had expected Wei Xu to make such a choice in the end.

Qiu Tianrui hadn’t expected Wei Xu to willingly kneel, nor had he expected Lu Tianxing to actually force Wei Xu to kneel and apologize. His face was full of disbelief.

When Qiu Yingrong saw this scene, she subconsciously opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but when she met Lu Tianxing’s ice-cold gaze, for some reason, the words stuck in her throat and couldn’t come out.

What was she supposed to say, tell him to show mercy when possible? If she said that now, she’d really be a fool.

If Lu Tianxing hadn’t suddenly stepped in tonight, the ones truly humiliated would have been her, Qiu Tianrui, and Lingling. Moreover, Wei Xu was the type to repay every slight; last time on the Tianbao, he had already clashed with Lu Tianxing. Even if Lu Tianxing let him off this time, would Wei Xu let Lu Tianxing go?

Letting a tiger back to the mountain only leads to endless troubles!

As someone of the Qiu Family, Qiu Yingrong was very clear on what those words meant.

Rose, on the other hand, was standing to the side holding Lingling, her expression unchanged. To her, Wei Xu was nothing more than an ant. If he pissed her off, she’d just stomp him to death; there was no need for any nonsense. Wei Xu’s so-called threat was something she could completely ignore.

”Mr. Lu, this time I, Wei Xu, failed to recognize a great person and offended Miss Qiu and your daughter. Here, I, Wei Xu, apologize to you. I hope you, Mr. Lu, being magnanimous, won’t stoop to my level.” Wei Xu gritted his teeth as he spoke.

But after he finished speaking, Wei Xu slowly lifted his head, gave Lu Tianxing a long, deep look, then suddenly raised his hand and slapped himself across the face several more times.

Because of the intense pain, Wei Xu’s expression twisted, but he forced himself not to make a sound. He raised his head to look at Lu Tianxing and said word by word, ”Mr. Lu, I wonder if you’re satisfied with this reasonable explanation of mine?”

”Satisfied. I’m very satisfied.”

Lu Tianxing gave Wei Xu a cold glance and said indifferently, ”Now get lost. Disappear from my sight.”

Hearing Lu Tianxing’s words, Wei Xu immediately got to his feet. ”Thank you, Mr. Lu, for sparing me.”

With that, Wei Xu didn’t even look at the woman standing beside him, already scared stupid. He strode straight toward the exit.

Watching Wei Xu leave, the woman who’d been standing there in shock finally snapped back to her senses. Her eyes swept over Lu Tianxing and the others in fear, then she turned and ran out in a panic. However, she didn’t chase after Wei Xu; instead, she directly hailed a taxi and left Taoyuan Restaurant.

Wei Xu had lost so much face today all because of her. If she dared go to him now, he’d probably never let her off. She might as well run first. Anyway, she’d only been with Wei Xu for his money, and she’d already milked plenty of benefits out of him during this time. Leaving him now was a bit of a pity, but it wasn’t a loss.
