I, the Destined Villain, Will Win Over the Female Lead Right from the Start

18: Chapter 18 The First Person in Charge of Shuyun Group“Oh, my dear nephew, ever since you gave the Acting President position to that girl Qin Yushang, she’s been opposing me at every turn. She just can’t stand to see me succeed. You must support me when the shareholders’ meeting is held later!”

Qin Yun sighed helplessly, “Second Uncle, are you really that certain that company can make money?”

“Of course! The person in charge of Soaring Prosperity specifically told me, and there are certification documents from seventeen countries. It can’t be fake! The day the Qin Family steps into heaven is coming soon.”

“Then should I thank Second Uncle?”

“No need to thank me! I’m doing this for the Qin Family’s benefit, you see! Hehehe!”

Qin Shuzhen scratched his head, his simple, foolish smile making it impossible for Qin Yun to either hit him or scold him. After all, he wasn’t malicious; he was just too stupid and easily tricked.

“When is the shareholders’ meeting being held?”

“It’s about to start, nephew. The Qin Family’s move into the overseas market depends entirely on this opportunity. We must seize it properly!”

“Got it. I know how to handle this.”

...Qin Shuzhen swaggered into the conference room. Everyone in the entire Shuyun Group, except for Chairman Qin Shucheng, was present.

As the Chairman’s younger brother, all the minor shareholders gave him some Face. With his nephew backing him, Qin Shuzhen had no reservations whatsoever.

“Young Miss Qin, where... why hasn’t President Qin returned yet?”

“I don’t know. He clearly told me he was almost here. Damn it, we’ll have to start without him.”

Qin Yushang’s expression changed. She immediately took a deep breath. “Second Uncle, you actually called a shareholders’ meeting just to invest in an overseas company with no background information.”

Hearing this, Qin Shuzhen immediately flashed a confident smile. “Xiao Shang, I’m doing this for the good of our Qin Corporation! We must understand the principle that there are always people better than you and heavens beyond the heavens, right? Although the Qin Family’s momentum is booming, aren’t we still stuck in a small place like Jiangcheng?

How many powers in Modu and Didu far surpass our Qin Family? But this time, the opportunity for our Qin Family to soar is here. As long as we open up the overseas market, our Qin Family will gain priority control over the international discourse. Don’t you want to see the Qin Family improve?”

Qin Yushang clenched her fists. “Second Uncle, do you really think that with the aristocratic families in Didu and Modu around, even if this company is real, there’d be any cake left for us to share? They would have already divided it up.”

“That’s because Soaring Prosperity favors our Qin Family and specifically sought us out for cooperation. This place has certification documents from seventeen countries; there’s absolutely no problem. Fellow shareholders, I preliminarily propose investing thirty billion in this. Who supports it, and who opposes it?”

Just like in other urban novels, no matter how low-level the methods the male lead devised were, everyone acted as if their IQ had expired, knowingly jumping into the fire pit anyway.

“I agree! If this deal succeeds, the price of my shares will more than triple!”

“I also agree! Second Master Qin is leading us to wealth, how could we possibly refuse!”

“I agree.”

“I also agree.”

Qin Yushang watched as everyone except her agreed, and she couldn’t help but curse aloud.

“Are you all brain-dead? Can’t you see such an obvious trap? Damn it, who is even running this company!”

A slight smile appeared on Qin Shuzhen’s Face. “Dear niece, this is the will of the people, so you should...”

“I object. My apologies, everyone, I arrived late.”

A familiar voice rang out. Qin Yushang looked up and saw Qin Yun walking in. At that moment, she felt as if she had seen hope.

“Qin Yun, you... why are you only coming back now!”

Qin Yun nodded slightly. “My apologies. Actually, I was standing outside the door just now, wanting to see what the shareholders thought. Alas! It seems only my Xiao Shang is the smart one! What a pity.”

Qin Shuzhen saw that Qin Yun had not only shown up early but was also deliberately contradicting him. He immediately rushed down from his seat, his Face full of confusion and incomprehension.

“Wait, nephew, didn’t we agree to consent together?”

“Stop it, Second Uncle. It’s fine if you act foolishly yourself, but please don’t sink the entire company into this. If you want to play around, I’ll give you thirty million; consider it a lesson learned. But thirty billion? Forget about it!”

“I... you, I don’t care! The shareholders’ meeting has already passed it. This project will definitely be carried out to the end.”

Qin Shuzhen immediately became unreasonable, like a child. After learning of Qin Yun’s objection, he quickly cited the results of the shareholders’ meeting.

Qin Yun narrowed his eyes slightly, looking toward the other shareholders. “Second Uncle, are you sure all these people agreed?”

“Of course.”

“Oh, is that so~~~?”

Qin Yun intentionally drew out the words, sweeping his gaze across the shareholders. Seeing Qin Yun’s mysterious look, the shareholders immediately shrank their necks and didn’t even dare to meet his gaze.

“Uh... actually, I feel that our decision just now was too hasty. We were just led astray by Second Master Qin. I am actually opposed.”

“I thought President Qin was supporting Second Master Qin! Since President Qin is opposed, then I am also opposed.”

“Opposition is good. People shouldn’t be too greedy; we must be content with what we have.”

Qin Shuzhen was dumbfounded by this scene. “Wait, you didn’t say that just now! Why are you all turning hostile faster than flipping a book?”

However, the other shareholders didn’t dare to breathe heavily, their Faces simply plastered with fawning smiles.

“Uh, President Qin, the result of the new round of the shareholders’ meeting is that everyone except Second Master Qin is opposed. So... may we leave?”

“You may.”

After Qin Yun said this, the other shareholders ran out greatly relieved, like mice seeing a cat. They were all gone in less than ten seconds.

Only four people remained in the entire conference room: Qin Yun, Qin Yushang, Qin Shuzhen, and Yang Ruobing, who was standing beside Qin Yushang.

Qin Yushang was stunned. Wait, were Qin Yun’s words an imperial decree? Just one sentence made all the shareholders back down. Was this a company or an imperial palace? Was her older brother’s control over the company really this strong?

“Nephew, you... why aren’t you following the script this time? You weren’t like this before! Why did you let go of this chance to easily pick up money!”

Qin Yun patted Qin Shuzhen’s shoulder and spoke like a good friend, “Second Uncle, I’m not criticizing you, but you barely handle company business. Isn’t it great just taking dividends from your shares every day? Why the sudden change in temperament?”

“I, well, your grandparents are coming back from the mountains soon, aren’t they? So I just wanted to give them a surprise when they returned and make them proud of me.”

As he said this, Qin Shuzhen fiddled with his fingers. Yang Ruobing stared in surprise at Second Master Qin before her. He truly looked like a child craving parental approval; he just wanted to achieve something that would satisfy his parents.

Qin Yun sighed. “I guess you must have met someone recently, right? Otherwise, how could you, who never cares about the company, only holds a nominal position, and spends every day visiting various gourmet restaurants, suddenly start investing?”

“Nephew, there are outsiders here! Give your Second Uncle some Face.”

Qin Yun smiled faintly, then rubbed Qin Shuzhen’s big, round head. “Second Uncle, just tell me if it’s true.”

“Yes, yes, he is. He’s a man with a streak of white hair in his fringe, quite distinctive looking. He guaranteed it to me solemnly and brought many successful case studies. It couldn’t possibly be... fake, could it?”

“The most classic scam. Second Uncle, you were tricked so easily. You, sigh! In the future, you just stick to eating.”

“Nephew, that’s really hurtful! Besides, it might not be fake!”

“Is that so? Then your nephew will let you see exactly how I expose a fraud.”

Saying this, Qin Yun pulled out his computer. “Someone wants to short our stock? Then I won’t hold back.”
