Reincarnated as a Mosquito, the School Beauty I Sucked to Tears is a Reborn Empress

BOOM—!

With the announcement of ”Begin,” the air in the entire Beast Fighting Arena seemed to freeze in an instant.

Waves of incomparably tyrannical auras instantly erupted from the eighteen prodigies, surging toward the heavens.

But, strangely, no one made a move right away.

No one was a fool.

This was a free-for-all, and everyone understood the principle that the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.

Whoever struck first would likely reveal an opening and become everyone’s target.

The contestants from the nine nations each occupied a position, warily sizing each other up, their eyes filled with caution and vigilance.

On Great Xia’s side,

Gu Yuexi still had that same serene and unconcerned expression.

She didn’t look at anyone, but instead lowered her head slightly to glance at the inner pocket on her chest.

’Stupid mosquito, are you awake yet?’

She saw that...

Chu Sheng was still sound asleep, his sleeping posture outrageously brazen. He was sprawled on his back with his limbs spread wide, and one of his mosquito legs was even resting on...

’Forget it. I can’t be bothered with him.’

’A scene like this doesn’t really require his appearance anyway.’

’I, this empress, am more than enough.’

...

Next to Gu Yuexi,

Shen Yixuan seemed to have something to say and was just about to speak.

However, suddenly,

a thunderous shout rang out... the stalemate in the arena was finally broken!

”Kill!!!”

The two contestants from Sakura Country had instantly reached a tacit understanding with the contestants from Asia United on the other side!

The four of them transformed into four afterimages, charging in unison toward the ones caught in the middle—the Nanzhou Empire!

They were picking on the weakest target!

That was everyone’s first reaction.

The Nanzhou Empire only had two people left. Their aura was the weakest, and they also appeared to be covered in wounds.

As long as they eliminated this team first, they would be one-third of the way to the goal of ”eliminating three teams”!

”Despicable!”

The expressions of the two Nanzhou Empire contestants changed drastically, but they were clearly no pushovers either.

”ROAR—!!”

The two of them roared in unison as an earthy-yellow light burst forth from their bodies.

In that instant, their auras miraculously merged, forming an incredibly thick Earth Element Light Shield!

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The four attacks from Sakura Country and the Siam Kingdom slammed viciously into the light shield, kicking up a cloud of dust and smoke.

But, after the dust settled,

the light shield, though covered in cracks, had actually held!

”What?!”

The contestants from Sakura Country were aghast.

’Those two actually have a joint ultimate skill like this?’

With their first strike failing, the opportunity was lost.

Using the force of the rebound, the two from the Nanzhou Empire quickly retreated, putting distance between them. With their backs to the wall, they assumed a defensive posture, prepared to fight to the death.

Sakura Country and Asia United didn’t dare to act rashly again.

The situation once again fell into a stalemate.

...

”Heh...”

Just then,

a light, mocking chuckle abruptly sounded out.

”How boring.”

Everyone followed the sound with their eyes.

They saw the captain of the White Eagle Empire, William Smith, who had been standing still the entire time, slowly take a step forward.

The magma-like patterns on his body began to glow blindingly, and the air around him was instantly distorted by the intense heat.

He scanned the cautious opponents around him, the corner of his mouth curling into a cruel arc.

”Since none of you dare to make a move, allow me to help you out.”

”Playing the game like this is no fun at all.”

”I have a proposal.”

William held up a finger and gently shook his head.

”It’s over as soon as three teams are eliminated? Isn’t that letting you all off too easy?”

”How about this instead...”

His gaze, like that of a predator, swept over the other eight teams present one by one.

”I will act personally.”

”Eight teams. I’ll just eliminate one person from each team. I’ll leave one of you behind.”

”How about that? Am I not merciful?”

BOOM—!

The moment these words were spoken, the entire audience erupted in an uproar.

But in the hearts of the contestants, a jolt of shock ran through them!

’If this William really does this, and succeeds...’

Originally, the first round would end after three teams were eliminated, meaning only six people needed to be eliminated.

But if this William takes out one from each team, even if he eliminates eight people, the first round won’t be over because every team will still have someone left.

At least three more would need to be eliminated. In other words, a total of eleven people would have to be eliminated for it to end!

’He’s trying to maximize the number of eliminations in this round!’

”Let’s see, who will be the first unlucky one?”

William let his gaze wander carelessly, as if he were picking out vegetables at a market.

Finally, it landed on the Asia United member who had just participated in the surprise attack.

”You’ll do.”

Before his voice had even faded,

BOOM!

William’s figure vanished from his spot in an instant!

In his place was a crimson line of fire that seemed to tear through Space, appearing instantly before the two Asia United contestants!

’So fast!’

The two were horrified. Without a second thought, they joined forces to unleash their strongest Defense!

”Titan’s Shield!”

However,

”Too brittle.”

William sneered, and his right hand, covered in magma patterns, punched out directly with no fancy moves!

CRACK—!!!

Before this punch, the seemingly indestructible defensive shield shattered in an instant, as if it were made of paper!

Immediately after,

his large, flaming hand broke through with unstoppable force, shot past the flying fragments, and seized one of the contestants by the neck!

”Ugh!!”

The man’s feet left the ground as he was brutally lifted into the air.

The terrifyingly high temperature instantly burned out his vocal cords, leaving him able to make only gurgling, wretched cries!

At this moment, he couldn’t even shout his surrender!

”No!! We surren—”

Seeing this, his teammate cried out in terror, trying to concede for him.

But—

BANG!

William backhanded the teammate who was trying to shout surrender, sending him flying dozens of meters away.

”The rules say you have to shout it yourself for it to be valid. A teammate shouting for you doesn’t count, you see.”

William turned his head to the unlucky soul he held in his grasp and revealed a demonic smile.

”You see, I really want to let you go, but unfortunately, you’re not talking.”

”Since you’re not talking, that must mean you want to keep fighting, right?”

CRACK!

A sickening crunch of breaking bone.

The Siam contestant’s neck was twisted into a grotesque angle.

Then, a ball of crimson flame erupted from William’s palm, instantly engulfing the body!

A few seconds later,

William casually tossed aside the charred corpse as if throwing out trash.

THUD.

The corpse hit the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust.

The entire arena fell deathly silent.

Even the three hundred thousand spectators were stunned into a stupor by this bloody and brutal scene.

Is... is this a no-rules free-for-all?

Is this the style of the White Eagle Empire?

”Next.”

William flicked the ash from his hand as if he had just done something utterly insignificant.

His gaze fell upon the nearby Sakura Country contestant, whose face had already turned deathly pale with fear.

”Don’t! Don’t kill me! I surrender! I surrender!!”

The Sakura Country contestant, targeted by William’s gaze, didn’t even wait for him to take a step. His knees went weak, and he dropped to the ground, frantically shouting with his hands raised.

Dignity?

The spirit of Samurai Dao?

In the face of absolute, mortal terror, it was all bullshit!

Boos immediately erupted from the crowd.

However, the Sakura Country team leader on the sidelines nodded slightly, a hint of approval flashing in his eyes.

’In this situation, saving his own life is the most rational choice.’

’Besides... for one, our strongest member isn’t competing, and for another, there’s no shame in losing to the White Eagle captain.’

...

William paused, pursing his lips with a bored expression.

”Tch. How dull.”

Since his opponent had surrendered, he couldn’t attack anymore according to the rules.

So, he continued toward his next target.

The Ancient Aie Empire, the European Union, the Rose Kingdom...

A one-sided slaughter had begun.

William was like a Flame Demon God walking the earth. Everywhere he went, he left either death or serious injury in his wake!

Some tried to resist and had their limbs broken;

Some tried to flee and were severely burned by his flames;

And some, like the one from Sakura Country, surrendered immediately.

In just a few short minutes,

William had already ”visited” seven teams.

Aside from the three who had saved their lives by surrendering immediately, of the remaining four, two were dead and two were gravely injured!

The entire Beast Fighting Arena had now turned into a living hell.

And now,

only one last team remained unscathed on the field.

Great Xia!

”William! William! William!”

Seeing their captain so divinely valiant and invincible, the spectators from the White Eagle Empire went completely wild, their cheers rising in wave after wave.

Under the watchful eyes of the entire crowd,

William slowly turned around.

His eyes, burning with fire, pierced through the swirling smoke and the stench of blood, locking dead onto the girl in snow-white robes who had been standing still the entire time.

He grinned, revealing stark white teeth, his voice hoarse and excited.

”now, I see you.”
