Supreme Star Card Master

Chapter 1266: Chapter 1043: Skill Development

Su Yuan raised his fingertip, and suddenly, a few strong wind elements swirled around the scorching finger, slowly seeping in.

The wind aided the fire, and immediately a stronger wave emanated from the finger.

However, this was just the beginning.

Su Yuan concentrated on controlling the powers of fire and wind, intertwining them in a more rational way, ensuring they did not fall into chaos.

After a while, Su Yuan successfully stacked the power of wind and fire to the current limit and thoroughly stabilized it.

However, it didn’t stop there.

With a thought, Su Yuan heard a ”crack” as lightning leapt, a few strands of purple lightning cautiously surged onto his finger.

But just as these lightning bolts intervened between the wind and fire, the already violent energy fluctuated intensely, and in less than half a second, it exploded with a ”bang” at Su Yuan’s fingertip.

”As expected, it doesn’t work...”

Su Yuan looked at the slight blood seeping from his fingertip, slightly breaking some skin and flesh.

Although it wasn’t a significant injury, clearly, the process had failed...

”Without the Three-Phases Divine to harmonize the elements of wind, fire, and thunder, even this level of elemental resonance isn’t that simple, not to mention something as grand as the Three-Colored Sky Divine Jade...”

Su Yuan shook his head with a smile.

Indeed, I could summon the Three-Phases Diagram, easily gathering the three elements of wind, fire, and thunder at my fingertips with the help of the Three-Phases Divine...

But that would be like using a cannon to kill a mosquito. The Steel Flame Finger itself is just a handy close-combat skill.

”Then System, help me derive this skill!”

The system panel flickered slightly, and soon a new line appeared.

[New Skill Development: Expected Stardust Consumption: 180w, Continue?]

”Continue!”

As Su Yuan confirmed, the system blurred slightly, and a new piece of information appeared:

[Unnamed Skill 1]

[Status: In Development (0/100%)]

[Laws: First Stage Fire Law, First Stage Wind Law, First Stage Thunder Law]

[Expected Stardust Consumption: 180w]

[Expected Time: 3 days]

On the Star Dust System, 180w of Stardust was immediately frozen, and then it began to be consumed slowly.

”3 days, 180w Stardust, replacing my own experimentation with system derivation...” Su Yuan’s eyes lit up as he nodded secretly.

This brings two benefits.

First, it saves my time completely.

Low-grade skills are fine, but if the skills are of higher grade, the complexity is also higher. Even if successful, the time consumed is unimaginable.

If it weren’t for the shortcut of the Three-Phases Divine, I couldn’t have even managed the balance of the three divine objects of wind, fire, and thunder, let alone developing the Three-Colored Sky Divine Jade.

Second, it helps avoid the consumption and accidental injuries during skill development.

With the blessing of the Power of Laws, any attack has tremendous power.

Just the development of a low-level skill could blow up my finger, and the development of medium to high-level skills could lead to serious injuries.

”I just wonder how effective this derivation will be...”

Su Yuan mused. If it were under my control, the three forces of wind, fire, and thunder combined should be at least a Second Grade skill if successful...

”Since it still takes three days, I should head out first. After being in seclusion for so long, I should report to the department.”

A flash of silver light on Su Yuan’s body, then he left the Qingming Realm...

Vermilion Bird Hall.

Jiang Lan, who had already reached King Level, was reporting to Fang Qingxiao inside the hall:

”Imperial Throne, in the past month, all nations, including Qiguang, have been biding their time and fully digesting the Star Veins from the Earth Tribulation, with no new movements.”

”Good.” Fang Qingxiao nodded slightly, pondering for a moment before asking, ”Are there any movements at the entrances to the Grey Realm domestically and nearby?”

Jiang Lan replied, ”The legion guarding the Military Supervision Department has not brought any new information for now.

A few days ago, we also sent several Imperial Envoys to infiltrate some entrances for investigation.

The stationed Demon Beast troops at these entrances are as usual, with little change compared to the past in terms of military strength and manpower.”

”I see...” Fang Qingxiao stroked his chin, raising an eyebrow slightly, ”The barrier between the Grey Realm and our Blue Sea Star should theoretically be growing thinner.

The Grey Realm has long set its sights on our Blue Sea Star, and for over a decade since the Earth Tribulation, apart from the Heavenly Palace battle, there’s been no other movement.

If they intend to invade, the Grey Realm Imperial Court should be gradually gathering more armies.

If they intend to retreat, after so many years, they could appropriately reduce their manpower.

This neither advancing nor retreating situation doesn’t seem to be a good sign...”

Fang Qingxiao pondered for a while, then shook his head, saying, ”Let’s leave it at that for now.”

”Yes, Imperial Throne.” Jiang Lan nodded and was about to leave, but after a slight hesitation, he asked, ”Imperial Throne, regarding Su True Monarch, what’s the situation?”

Fang Yuan and Xiahou had already made their breakthroughs long ago, and now, almost a year has passed, yet there was still no sign from Su Yuan.

Jiang Lan didn’t believe Su Yuan would fail his breakthrough; he was just unsure why he hadn’t come out yet.

Speaking of Su Yuan, a faint smile appeared on Fang Qingxiao’s face: ”If my guess is correct, he should have already broken through.”

”Hmm? Already broken through?” Jiang Lan was taken aback.

Fang Qingxiao nodded, saying, ”He has his own space. Even if he has broken through, we might not be able to sense it. The reason he hasn’t come out yet...”

As Fang Qingxiao flipped his hand, a strand of golden-red Junyang True Fire appeared in it.

”I guess, is that he’s using those divine items to comprehend other laws.”

Jiang Lan was puzzled: ”Other laws, you mean...?”
