“Come on, there’s no point in talking. Let’s Begin!”Jiang Fei said.

“That’s exactly what I was thinking!”Vincent nodded and began to fight.

Generally speaking, when a mage fought a warrior, especially an agility-type warrior, they would be at a disadvantage. After all, they needed the time to cast spells and the distance to cast spells, the powerful lethality of a mage was based on the protection of a warrior.

However, Vincent was different. He was not a mage in the traditional sense. Although he also held a staff, he was a battle mage.

Battle Mages, as the name implied, were a relatively different group of mages. Apart from being good at magic, they were also proficient in some close combat techniques. Although compared to those professions that specialized in close combat.., their standards might be a little inferior, but when faced with close combat threats, they dealt with them much better than regular mages.

Other than that, battle mages rarely practiced spells that were cast for long periods of time. Although the lethality of such spells was devastating, in close combat, no one would give you the time to cast them.

Therefore, battle mages were good at instant casting and fast spells that only required one or two sentences to cast. Although these spells were not as powerful as large-scale spells, they were faster to cast, moreover, they consumed less mana. Coupled with the Battle Mages’agile movement skills, they were best at close combat.

“Flame Blast!”Vincent raised his hand and attacked Jiang Fei. Although he had been very polite to Jiang Fei just now, if he really attacked, it would be a matter of his life, therefore, he did not hold back at all.

“Whoosh!”A fist-sized fireball came straight at Jiang Fei’s face. Jiang Fei hurriedly dodged to the side and tried to get close to Vincent.

As a 100% melee fighter, Jiang Fei did not have any long-range attack abilities. Although his mind power could be used from afar, he could see it now, mind power attacks were extremely ineffective against these high-dimensional dimensional creatures. It would be better to save his mind power to use those time skills.

Seeing that Jiang Fei dodged his flame charge and moved closer to him, Vincent was not in a hurry. He used his staff to poke at his feet as he moved backward.

“Boom!”A pillar of fire shot up into the sky and blocked between Jiang Fei and Vincent. If Jiang Fei continued to move closer, he would definitely be hurt by the flames.

Vincent’s strength was not comparable to those little guys just now. His strength was even stronger than William and the old man in dragonform. Therefore, even if Jiang Fei was full of fighting spirit, he did not dare to recklessly charge into the pillar of fire.

After being blocked by the pillar of fire, Jiang Fei was inevitably pulled away by Vincent. This also happened to fall into Vincent’s battle rhythm.

As a battle mage, Vincent was very good at this kind of battle method. Through the effects of magic, he constantly restricted the opponent’s attacks and movements to prevent the enemy from getting close to him, then, he would find an opportunity to cast instant magic to wear down the opponent bit by bit until the opponent was worn down to death.

Battle mages were different from traditional mages. They never paid attention to killing their opponents in one hit. They could not kill their opponents in one hit either. The power of these instant spells was very leisurely. It might take a dozen or even dozens of attacks to kill their opponents, however, battle mages who were more flexible were not as weak as traditional mages. If Vincent was a traditional mage, he might have been cut into pieces by Jiang Fei’s chaotic blades before he could complete a spell.

As Vincent raised his hand, three arcane missiles flew towards Jiang Fei. Jiang Fei had no choice but to roll on the ground to avoid the three consecutive arcane missiles.

“D * mn it! This guy is really good!”Jiang Fei thought to himself. Vincent had almost calculated his attack style. Every time he did not wait for Jiang Fei to attack, the other party would use magic to force him back.

Although they had fought for a few rounds and neither of them had touched the other, Jiang Fei was not in a hurry. As of now, he had almost not consumed anything. Meanwhile, Vincent had already cast more than ten spells, although the consumption of instant magic was very low, it would also consume a large amount of mana if it was cast too much.

Once a magician lost their mana, whether it was a battle mage or a traditional mage, they would be no different. They would just be a bunch of meat on the chopping board.

As the battle continued, Vincent felt that it was about time. He had already tested enough. If he continued to waste his energy like this, it would clearly be disadvantageous to him. Therefore, at this moment, Vincent decided to be serious.

Another set of arcane missiles. After forcing Jiang Fei to retreat slightly, Vincent did not retreat. Instead, he advanced. He took the initiative to attack.

“Oh? ! He came to me?”Jiang Fei was happy. He was worried that he would not be able to touch Vincent. However, this guy had come to him.

“Swish!”Jiang Fei prepared his twelve-inch sharp claws. Once he found an opportunity, this claw would strike Vincent. At worst, Vincent’s limbs would be broken. At worst, he would be stabbed by Jiang Fei.

“Crack!”Just when Vincent was close to Jiang Fei and was about to enter his attack range, Jiang Fei raised his claws. Vincent stopped. Not only did he stop, but he also poked his staff on the ground.

On the other hand, Jiang Fei was ready to step forward and give Vincent a hard time. However, he saw a ring of ice spread out. At this time, it was too late for Jiang Fei to dodge. His feet were instantly frozen.

“Gulu…”Vincent rolled and opened up a distance between him and Jiang Fei. Because Jiang Fei was controlled, he could not go forward to attack. Moreover, he could not dodge.

Vincent started chanting. Although it was a spell that required chanting, a battle mage would never spend more than a second to chant. In just a few syllables, Vincent had completed his own spell.

At that moment, Jiang Fei had just broken the ice under his feet and regained his mobility.

“Phew…”a fireball the size of a basketball came straight at Jiang Fei.

Jiang Fei quickly dodged to the side, but the fireball followed him and changed direction.

“DAMN! Automatic Guidance?”Jiang Fei was shocked, but it was too late for him to dodge.

“Boom!”The Fireball hit Jiang Fei’s chest hard, instantly burning his chest. Not only that, the power of the flame also spread to his body, jiang Fei immediately felt as if his insides were on fire.

“Damn it! What bad luck.”Jiang Fei had no choice but to activate time reversal. If he continued to fight like this, his strength would be greatly reduced. He might really be defeated by Vincent.
