The Almighty Ring

Jiang Fei looked back. At that moment, Isabella had already smashed the five Devil’s Fruits and was mixing them with the previous materials, sprinkling them on her own corpse!

Shortly after, Isabella began to cast spells. Streams of light began to revolve around her corpse. The entire cave radiated with brilliance. It was a gorgeous sight!

“Focus! Her Royal Highness did not allow you to become a Nephilim just so you can stand there and watch the show!” At that moment, William, the Blood Bat Commander, walked past Jiang Fei and rolled his eyes at Jiang Fei!

“Loser!” Jiang Fei muttered and then glared at William. It was this glare that shocked Jiang Fei to the core!

William, the Blood Bat Commander (Vampire, Lord)

Level: 60

Health Points: 580,000

Attack Power: 9,800

Skills: All Assassin skills, all the general skills of Vampires, Killing Spree, Bloodsucking Frenzy.

Remarks: The Blood Bat Commander has fully recovered, thanks to the aid of his Prince!

“Are you talking about me?”

William heard Jiang Fei muttering. He had never been fond of Jiang Fei since the beginning.

“F*ck! This guy is freaking powerful!” Jiang Fei was shocked. This kid was originally a Level 18 Advanced Elite monster with an extremely weak Attack Power. Jiang Fei did not expect this guy to suddenly become this powerful after just a few days. It made Jiang Fei wonder what kind of serious injury he had suffered before that weakened him to such a level.

Currently, Jiang Fei was a bit embarrassed. He now had the identity of a Nephilim and his strength had skyrocketed. Even so, when faced with a Level 60 Lord, Jiang Fei was still a snack on the platter. This was even if he resorted to using the Nephilim transformation!

However, Jiang Fei was not willing to admit defeat to an NPC just like that. So, the atmosphere was a little awkward!

“You two! Enough! It’s already at this point in time, and you two are actually still holding grudges against each other?” Aeneidstrasza turned back and glared at the both of them, which somewhat mediated the dispute between them. Otherwise, Jiang Fei would not have known how to proceed.

“Hmph!” William snorted coldly and then walked to the side of the Black Naga Prince to start keeping watch. This Blood Bat Commander simply could not bring himself to like Jiang Fei no matter what. As Princess Isabella’s personal guard, his loyalty towards the Princess was rock solid. However, previously, Jiang Fei had taken advantage of the Princess’s perilous state. He had shown her no respect and had even attempted to blackmail her. To William, such acts were heinous crimes, by which the doer would be deserving of death!

Of course, William would not like Jiang Fei at all. Coupled with the fact that Isabella and Aeneidstrasza had started to trust Jiang Fei more over the past few days, William inevitably felt somewhat jealous. Hence, when these emotions stacked up, one could easily imagine how much William disliked Jiang Fei!

“Hoho.” Jiang Fei shrugged helplessly. There is a saying that a wise man knows better than to fight when the odds are against him. Even though he could not afford to provoke William now, he could hide from him. Jiang Fei could wait until his level was higher, then come back and destroy William. Players could level up faster than these NPCs anyway!

“Not good! The magical fluctuations of Isabella’s resurrection have brought the people of the Luminous Church here!”

At that moment, Aeneidstrasza suddenly shouted.

*Sigh* “Nothing refreshing at all!” Jiang Fei naturally understood that the plot had begun. The final step in his Race Quest was to prevent the Luminous Church from ruining Isabella’s resurrection ritual.

When the Quest was completed, he would complete his transformation into a Nephilim. At the same time, he would instantly make himself the enemy of the humans and elves under the Luminous Church and join the Darkness Faction!

*Boom*

When Jiang Fei arrived beside Aeneidstrasza, the magical barrier formed by the Black Naga Prince just before this was destroyed!

A large number of elven NPCs charged in. When they first came in, Jiang Fei noticed that the elven NPCs were still in the Indifferent State (Pink), while the humans were in the Friendly State (Green). However, when these NPCs saw Jiang Fei, Jiang Fei’s Reputation in these two Factions suddenly decreased!

“Ding! The elves have expressed extreme anger towards your act of helping the Nephilims. From now on, the elves will regard you as an enemy!”

Instantly, the name of the elven NPCs that were originally Pink became Red to Jiang Fei!

“Ding! The humans have expressed puzzlement towards your act of helping the Nephilims. Your Reputation among the humans has decreased. Now, your relationship with the humans is neutral!”

As Jiang Fei was originally a human, the humans were still relatively nice towards him. Their names only degraded from Green to Yellow, illustrating the neutral relationship. They did not immediately consider Jiang Fei as part of the enemy Faction.

“Aeneidstrasza, this is a conflict between us, the Luminous Faction, and the Darkness Faction. It will be best if you Nagas do not intervene!” An old man wearing a red robe and holding a crystal wand in his hand walked out from among the Human Faction.

Archbishop Famoss (Human, Lord)

Level: 80

Health Points: 1,000,000

Magic Attack: 14,000

Skills: All general Light Magic spells, Divine Art – Damnation Eye, Divine Art – Judgement Sword!

Remarks: One of the 12 Archbishops of the Luminous Vatican!

“F*ck… if these Gods fight, what can a small fry like me possibly do?” Jiang Fei suddenly felt helpless. If these boss level characters got into a fight, he would only die in the crossfire.

“Be quiet, old man. When you took Isabella’s life, I have yet to return you the favor!” Aeneidstrasza growled. If he had not been caught up with protecting Isabella who was in her soul form, he would have already rushed into Dawnlight City and razed the Luminous Vatican to the ground.

“Aeneidstrasza, is this your decision, or do you represent the entire Black Naga Race?” Famoss frowned. Looked at the hundreds of Dragonoid Guards on both sides, he was somewhat worried. If it was just the Black Naga Prince himself, they still had a chance to stop the Nephilim Princess’s resurrection today. If Aeneidstrasza represented the entire Black Naga Race, then they would be in trouble!

“I only represent myself!” Aeneidstrasza said. Although he was the Black Naga Prince, it was his own wish to come out and protect Isabella, as he did not want her to get hurt. However, for the Nagas as a whole, they were to remain neutral. Aeneidstrasza did not want to drag the entire Naga Race down because of himself.

“Master Archbishop, why bother talking to trash from the Darkness Faction? Let’s go and kill them straight away. As for this foolish Black Naga, it just so happens that he’s here, so we might as well slaughter him too. The body of a giant dragon is definitely filled with treasures!” A female elf behind Famoss said.

“Shut up!” Famoss turned back and glared at the female elf. She was also one of the higher-ups of the Luminous Church. In this operation, her identity was inferior to that of Famoss’. However, she had clearly given such a radical statement to lump in the Black Naga Race with the Nephilims. She should have minded her own business. She would only attract the hatred of others towards the Luminous Church!

“Your Royal Highness, I’ve gained some experience from practicing Light Magic recently. Why don’t we learn a little from each other by exchanging some views?” Famoss sent a duel invitation to Aeneidstrasza. Both were Level 80 Lords, one mastered magic, and the other was an almighty Naga. It could be said that they were of equal strength. Famoss’ plan was obvious. He would distract the biggest obstacle and the rest of his people would stop the ritual. Then, it would be too late to change anything, and the Black Naga Prince would be helpless. They would be able to complete their mission without even offending the entire Black Naga Race.
