Strongest Necromancer System

Although Harold knew that Agiel’s decision would seem right to a lot of people, Harold couldn’t help but hate her for being so fucking selfish!

Sacrificing the lives of hundreds of billions in order to save millions was not something Harold would ever accept!

So now, rather than speaking to Agiel, Harold realised that he needed to find his way to Jason instead! Jason was the only person who could convince Agiel to change her mind about this marriage. And every moment that they wasted was millions of more lives getting lost!

Harold knew that all of this would’ve been easily solved if they could just kill the dictator who had taken over Agiel’s world and free the slaves themselves, but after finding out that the dictator was a TITAN Rank II with multiple TITAN Rank I soldiers in his army, Harold decided that they needed more firepower before they could take him down!

Harold let out a long breath of white fog as he reached the top of a massive mountain, and he looked out over the frozen landscape covered in an intense snowstorm that fluttered his cape around. According to Harold’s spies, Jason was last seen heading towards the cultivator’s world of Diran fifteen dimensional leaps away from Vorin, and this Tundra was a shortcut that would allow Harold to reach Diran in just one day. All Harold had to do was make it out of here first, and he would be free to –

’!’

Harold suddenly stopped as he sensed something in the distance! Far away, somewhere in the carpet of white that layered the horizon in front of him, there were two black dots approaching him! Harold narrowed his eyes as he wondered what in the world that was, and he quickly activated an ocular skill that increased his vision by multiple times.

[Archer’s Range]!

The world slowed into a crystal-clear picture, and the black dots in the distance suddenly became a lot easier to see, but once Harold saw what they were, he felt his eyes widen in shock! It was a man and a woman walking across the snow in his direction, and they were looking right at him! The man had a shit-eating grin on his face as they approached – like he could see Harold looking at them, and the woman had only one arm, with her other arm replaced with a silver mechanical prosthetic!

The woman suddenly began to move faster than the man, and Harold cursed as she crouched and blasted off the ground with a massive sonic boom!

BOOM!

The entire tundra shook from the force as she flew into the air! Harold turned and jumped away as the woman’s silver arm glowed with power, and she unleashed a superpowered punch on the mountain!

BOOM!

The entire mountain erupted into an inferno that spread across the region for more than a hundred miles in every direction, and Harold was completely blasted away by the attack! Harold slammed into the ground like a ping-pong ball and skipped across the snow a few more times before he finally found his footing, and he dug massive trails into the ground as he skidded to a stop!

Harold immediately put his hand out and poured out enough mana to open a Dimensional Tear as he planned to escape! That one attack from the woman told him everything he needed to know about her, and Harold knew that he didn’t stand a chance against her since she was both a TITAN Rank III as well as an Avaran!

’It’s the King’s Guard! I’m sure of it!’

Harold had received the invitation from the King’s Guard a long time ago, but he had refused it since he didn’t believe in Gregory’s promises. But it would appear that the King’s Guard didn’t take rejection very well! Harold tried to open the Dimensional Tear, but he was shocked when he didn’t see anything happening!

”Running away already, little prince?”

A voice spoke up from behind him, and Harold jumped away while crossing his hands in front of him for protection! A fist slammed into his crossed arms, and Harold grunted as he was sent flying back like a fucking javelin!

BOOM!

Harold slammed straight through a mountain before he crashed into the ground, and he quickly got up and tried to open the dimensional tear again, but it was the same result, and Harold realised that someone had done something to affect the mana in this region!

’I can’t absorb any mana from the environment. That means my mana isn’t in sync with the mana of the world; the frequency is off!’

This phenomenon was called a Synchronization Distortion, and it was caused by a destructive interference between the mana in the environment and the mana in a mage’s body! It was the same phenomenon that prevented Jason from being able to open Dimensional Tears during his fight with Hesabeth, and now, the same thing was happening here on Vorin!

’I need to sync my mana, but it’ll take some time. I need to buy time.’

”We hear you’ve been really busy lately, young prince. Why don’t you come with us and tell us all about what you’ve been doing?”

A voice came from in front, and Harold narrowed his eyes as the man appeared through the cover of the white snow! The man had a grin on his face as he approached, and Harold couldn’t even take two steps back before he heard a loud sound echo from behind!

BOOM!

Someone landed with force, and Harold cursed when he saw that it was the woman who had attacked him earlier! The woman’s silver right arm had now transformed! Rather than the silver arm, she now had a meter-long silver blade attached to her elbow, and it glowed with power! Harold released some of his mana, and he saw that both the woman and the man were Avarans! And they weren’t just half-Avaran either, like most of Harold’s siblings, these were pure-blooded Avarans!

”What do you two want with me? I have no business with the King’s Guard.”

Harold tried to see if he could reason his way out of here, but the woman began walking up to him while pointing her blade arm towards him!

”But we have business with you, little prince. We received news of your recent actions, and we decided you’re too dangerous to be left alone. You’ll be coming back with us to answer a few questions.”

Harold glanced from the man towards the woman discreetly, and he immediately began to prepare multiple plans all at the same time once he realised that he couldn’t get out of this! Tens of spells and runes came to the front of his mind, and he took in a deep breath and released it calmly to get ready! The woman immediately noticed what Harold was doing, and her lips split into a vindictive smile.

”You wish to fight? That’s good. I was hoping that would be the case. Do you know how I lost this arm, little prince? It’s a very simple story, really. Your brother, Jason, was the one who took it. We visited him, and he decided that he needed a souvenir to keep with him in order to remember us by. I have a score to settle with your family!”

Harold grinned when he heard that Jason was responsible for taking the woman’s arm, and he spoke.

”I’ve heard of you two as well. Reaynar and Jack the Ripper. Former members of the Avaran Religious Order and some of the most dedicated supporters of the Royal family. Just how far did you have to fall for you to become common assassins chasing down your former masters?”
