ROARRR!

The dragon let out another massive roar and flapped its wings as it charged straight for Jason once again! Jason blasted off the cliff and headed towards the dragon as well with his sword pulled back, but Jason had to block a sudden bolt of lightning that came from right above him! The lightning slammed into the Death’s Mirage, and Jason put his hand out and created a circular mana shield in front of him!

Whip!

The lightning dragon suddenly turned around and whipped its tail towards Jason, and the attack slammed into the shield and catapulted Jason through the air like a bullet!

Jason tore through two mountains and finally slammed into a third one with a massive sonic boom!

BOOM!

But even though the hit looked extremely dangerous, Jason didn’t feel much pain from it since he managed to block most of it with his shield. Jason was crouching in the crater he created and looking up at the lightning dragon in annoyance! In Jason’s mind, Jason was trying desperately to think of a way to win this fight! Right now, nothing in Jason’s Arsenal could beat this dragon, and Jason knew that using Resonance to launch a single attack like he did against the [Weeping Angel] wouldn’t work either. The only reason the attack worked on the Weeping Angel was because it didn’t have high agility to dodge the Resonance Blast. The lightning dragon could dodge and counter most attacks since it was flying through the air, and Jason would have to slow the dragon down first before he could launch an attack like that!

Hundreds of thoughts went through Jason’s mind at that moment, and Jason watched the Lightning Dragon as it started coming towards him again! But all of a sudden, Jason’s brow furrowed in shock as he realised something he could do! Jason stood from the crater, and he sent a message to the Legion!

’Is there anyone still fighting?’

’No, my king. We have completely eradicated the Jamani, and we are awaiting your orders.’

Azrael sent back this message, and Jason immediately told the Legion to resurrect all the dead Jamani!

Jason ignored the little gains he got from the new subordinates since that wasn’t his goal at all. Instead, Jason immediately activated [Resonance]!

[The User is attempting to combine two major power sources]

[The combination of Qi and Mana is considered detrimental to the body of any mage.]

[The user has bypassed the warnings]

[The user has achieved Resonance]

[Resonance level: 15%]

DOON!

Jason grit his teeth as an insane power surged through his body! The lightning dragon that had been coming towards Jason all this time was shocked when it felt the power that suddenly spread through the air, and it stopped approaching for a moment as it tried to understand what was happening. The lightning dragon knew that Jason was weaker than it, but at that moment, Jason’s power had suddenly skyrocketed until Jason was almost stronger than the Lightning dragon! What in the world happened to Jason!?

Jason grit his teeth as he felt the intense pain from Resonance tearing across his body immediately! But Jason quickly activated a Legion skill!

[Soul Mate] has been activated!

This was the Legion skill that allowed Jason to share his pain and damage with any of his Legion subordinates that he marks as his [Soul Mate]. Jason hadn’t used this skill in a long time since most of the enemies he fought against didn’t need Jason to push himself to the extreme, and Jason’s Legion were always busy in fights. But Jason knew he couldn’t win this fight against the Lightning Dragon unless he activated Resonance at its maximum output throughout the fight, and Jason decided to finally use the skill!

Jason felt the pain in his body dropping as it was transferred to the Legion subordinates, but most of the Legion subordinates were far weaker than Jason, so the moment they were hit with the intense pain from Resonance, they immediately fell unconscious and died on the spot! Jason quickly sent a message to the system.

’Mark every subordinate above Rook Rank III as a Soul Mate. Don’t add Gina.’

[The user has marked 7712 subordinates as Soul Mates.]

’Activate automatic resurrections and bring them back to life the moment they die.’

[Automatic Resurrection has been activated.]

[The system advises the user to conserve his mana as much as possible. The Resonance skill is known to consume a significant amount of mana, and if the user continued to resurrect his subordinates automatically, he is likely to run out of mana very quickly.]

DOON!

A massive surge of power flowed out from the lightning dragon, and Jason narrowed his eyes at the beast towering over him! The lightning dragon was flying in circles in the sky while keeping an eye on Jason, and Jason tightened his hand around the Death’s Mirage and glared at the dragon while unleashing his own power!

DOON!

An intense wave of purple energy flew up from Jason’s body at the moment as the full force of Jason’s Resonance fought back against the mana of the lightning dragon! Jason felt like every cell in his body was pumping with adrenaline, and since Jason couldn’t feel any pain tearing through his body due to the [Soul Mate] skill, he was able to enjoy all the advantages of Resonance without any of the disadvantages!

[[5205] Bishop Rank subordinates have died.]

[[5205] Bishop Rank subordinates have been resurrected.]

Jason crouched and shot towards the lightning dragon!

BOOM!

The lightning dragon roared in anger as it immediately charged towards Jason as well, and it opened its mouth and unleashed a massive ball of lightning towards Jason! Jason brought his hand up and created a shield of mana in front of him, and the ball of lightning slammed into the shield and exploded in fire and lightning! But Jason flew through the explosion and burst out from the other side with his sword pulled back! The dragon brought its hand down to swipe at Jason, but Jason unleashed a slash with his sword and slammed it into the dragon’s neck!

BOOM!

The dragon turned around quickly and lashed out with its tail, but Jason blocked it and kicked the dragon back before he charged forward with another slash!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Massive tremors travelled across the world as the two PRIMORDIALS engaged in deadly mortal combat! The sky shook, and mountains crumbled just from the sonic impacts of their attacks! A storm cloud began to brew in the sky as yellow lightning flashed across the air and sent surges of power in every direction! If this battle had been happening on any world with a civilization, then that entire civilization would already be going through one of their largest extinction events just from the sheer amount of power that was present in the air! By pulling this beast into the Blue Gate, Jason saved the lives of millions of people that would’ve all been killed on L’horm!

[[7615] Bishop Rank subordinates have died.]

[[7615] Bishop Rank subordinates have been resurrected.]

Jason turned around sharply and lashed out with a kick that slammed into the lightning dragon’s back, and then Jason’s Death’s Mirage glowed with a brilliant purple light, and he brought it down with a roar and slammed it into the dragon’s neck!

”RARRGH!”

BOOM!

The lightning dragon was suddenly blasted away like a rocket, and it flew through the air and completely destroyed a large mountain in the distance!
