Strongest Necromancer System

Jason and Hendrix watched the battle silently for a few more seconds before Jason spoke up.

”If I ever run into Gregory and he is just as twisted as you paint him to be, then I’ll do what I can to stop him. But I won’t get involved in this royal drama, and I have no interest in the throne. I was born here on Earth, and this is where I belong. Let someone else rule the Avarans.”

Hendrix shook his head!

”We were all born in different worlds, little brother. And no matter how far away we are from home, it does not stop us from being Avarans. I won’t try to pressure you into becoming King, but I wish you would think about it.”

Jason hummed, and he spoke dismissively as he started walking away.

”Yeah, sure thing. Just don’t get your hopes up.”

Hendrix stared at Jason’s back as Jason walked towards Gina and the others, and he watched as Maya and Kai ran towards Jason happily! Jason laughed as he caught them and Jason gave Gina a kiss before he went to stand beside Janet. They were all so happy, and Hendrix could tell that this was truly where Jason belonged, but at the same time, Hendrix knew that this happiness would be very short-lived if Gregory tok the Avaran throne!

Jason might not want to involve himself in the royal drama, but the fact that Jason was their father’s son meant he already didn’t have a choice in the matter! Sooner or later, Jason and Gregory would meet, and Hendrix was certain that the result of that meeting would determine the future of their entire race.

[The World of L’horm]

[Fifty-Three Dimensional Leaps Away from Earth.]

L’horm was a world located along the Western Corridor of the Sixth Domain. It was not only one of the most prosperous worlds in this section of the domain, but it also possessed one of the most advanced magic academies in the entire domain, the Northern Solstice Alliance Magical Academy led by the third-ranked Researcher and Green Class Rune Crafter, Jaen Trush. The same man who had competed with Jason in the Overlord selection as a candidate to become the next ruler of this domain.

But even though Jaen Trush had competed to rule this domain, he was not the official leader of L’horm. As a matter of fact, there was currently no single ruler of the world of L’horm because they were currently going through a massive civil war that had divided the world into two factions.

Once, the world of L’horm had been ruled by a King who valued the people greatly. L’horm had prospered under their previous king, and the King had supported the Northern Alliance Academy in a way that allowed it to grow by leaps and bounds and spread its influence across multiple worlds around the Western Corridor to teach the mages from other worlds how to use magic. By sharing their magical knowledge, L’horm gained massive financial profits, and many of the goods L’horm bought from those worlds were discounted as a way to thank them for their help. But everything had changed when the king died!

The King had left two sons behind after his death, and according to the natural laws of the people of L’horm, the firstborn son was meant to marry the daughter of one of the nobles and take over from the previous King as the new ruler of their world. But everyone in the country knew that between the two brothers, the younger brother was the one who truly deserved the throne. Not only was the younger brother more intelligent, but he also had the aura of a leader that made it easy for people to follow him. But there was nothing anyone could do since it was the law for the older brother to become the king, and since the law of the land was absolute, everyone accepted the older brother as their King.

The love the people showed to the younger brother was obvious to the older brother, and after some time, it made the older brother burn with jealousy! The older brother could not accept that people loved his younger brother more, and he felt a desperate desire to take everything from his younger brother.

The younger brother had a woman whom he loved. She was the daughter of a noble who ruled over a large farming region, and the girl would come to the palace many times to see the younger brother. It was on one of these visits that the new King saw the happiness on his brother’s face when the lovers met, and the King realised exactly what he wanted to take from his brother!

The next day, a letter was sent from the king to the noble ruling the farming village asking for his daughter’s hand in marriage! Everyone was shocked by the letter because they all knew that the girl the King wanted to marry was in love with his brother! But there was nothing that the noble could do! If your king makes a demand, the only thing you can do is accept it! The noble accepted the King’s offer, and it didn’t even take a month before the King married the nobleman’s daughter in a rushed wedding!

That day, the younger brother barged his way into the wedding with anger painted on his face and a magical storm raging around his body! He screamed about the cruelty of his brother, and he demanded an explanation for this madness! But when he saw the tears falling from the eyes of his lover, the younger brother immediately realised that this was a forced wedding, and he launched himself at his brother in anger! But his brother was still the king, and all the guards in the room had latched onto the younger brother and stopped him immediately! The younger brother was taken away so that the wedding would continue, but that moment had caused all the nobles and royals in the room to look at the older brother with contempt and disgust since they did not approve of his actions.

The older brother noticed this once again, and the jealousy he had felt for his younger brother only grew until it became a physical thing that threatened to choke him! It wasn’t enough! Taking his brother’s woman and making her his wife wasn’t enough! The older brother realised he needed to do something more! He needed to get rid of his younger brother once and for all! He needed him gone!

A few days after the forced marriage, news spread across the kingdom that the younger brother of the King had been poisoned by one of his maids! The poison was from a deadly magical creature known as a Scorpix, and it had left the younger brother paralysed from the neck down! The servant who poisoned the young prince was immediately executed without a trial, and the prince ended up being sent away from the royal city by his older brother so that he could try to recover in a distant monastery on the freezing eastern continent!

The regular citizens had all accepted this story without any issues, but the nobles and royals all had their suspicions that this entire thing had been orchestrated by the King as a way to finally get rid of his brother! The King’s infamous jealousy was common knowledge at this point, and they all knew that no one but the King would have the audacity to poison a member of the royal family!

From that point on, things had only gotten worse in the palace!
