Myriad Paths of the Dragon Emperor

Chapter 5303: The situation is not good

”Who is it?”

As soon as Lu Ming and the group approached, a group of people approached them with serious and hostile expressions.

”Weʼre on the same side, we also come from the Yang realm.”

Liu Fang said hurriedly.

The other party could clearly sense the aura of Lu Ming and the others. They were indeed from the Yang-realm and their hostility had subsided a lot.

are you from another stronghold or did you just enter the immortal-level battlefield? ”

The leader, a brawny man in armor, asked.

we have just entered the immortal-level battlefield. Iʼm Liu Fang from the red jade great cosmos. May I ask for your guidance? ”

Liu Fang cupped his fists and said.

”Chen Shan!”

The burly man in armor replied.

”Brother Chen, what happened? we passed by another stronghold before and found that weʼve already fallen into the hands of the underworld? From what I can see on the map, our yang realm has three strongholds in the sunset Mountain range and we have the upper hand.”

Liu Fang asked curiously.

you guys actually passed by another stronghold. You should be considered lucky that nothing happened to you.

”Some time ago, a large number of underworld experts suddenly came to the sunset Mountains. They should have come from another region, causing the strength of the underworld in the sunset Mountains to surpass that of the Yang realm. They concentrated their forces and attacked one of the strongholds. By the time we discovered it, it was already too late.”

Chen Shan sighed.

”Was there an underworld creature that attacked just now?”

Liu Fang continued to ask.

”Thatʼs right, it wasnʼt easy for us to defeat them. You should quickly enter the city, who knows when the underworld creatures will come back.”

Chen Shan said. He also sent someone to bring Lu Ming and the rest into the city to prevent them from being stopped by others.

There were many people in the city, at least three hundred.

Moreover, most of them were three-tribulation quasi-Immortals, so Lu Ming and the others were not eye-catching at all.

The battlefield was quickly cleaned up, and the others outside the city returned to the city.

On the city wall, everyone was on high alert, ready for battle.

However, Lu Ming did not see any array on the city wall.

”Brother Chen, why donʼt you set up a quasi-immortal level formation to block the underworldʼs attack?”

Lu Ming asked Chen Shan who was beside him.

”Brother Lu, itʼs indeed your first time entering an immortal level battlefield.”

Chen Shan smiled and explained, ” the city of the immortal level battlefield is very strange. Our runes canʼt be carved on the city wall, so itʼs very difficult to set up an array. It should be that the creatures of the immortal level battlefield used some special means when building the city wall.

”I see!”

Lu Ming nodded.

It turned out that he couldnʼt set up formations in the city. If he had known this earlier, he wouldnʼt have had to fear the underworld creatures at the stronghold.

Everyone from the Yang realm waited in a strict formation, but three days had passed and no one from the yin realm came to attack.

”Could it be that the underworldʼs people have retreated? Theyʼre not coming to attack?”

Some people were surprised.

Because from the scale of the underworldʼs attack last time, it could be seen that the number of experts in the underworld was very large, surpassing that of the Yang realm.

If they continued to attack, this stronghold would fall sooner or later.

They had originally thought that the underworld creatures would retreat and recuperate for a while before continuing to attack. They didnʼt expect that there would be no movement from the underworld for three days.

in a few days, the bloody sky will descend. The people of the underworld are most likely worried. They are afraid that when the bloody sky descends, they wonʼt be able to attack and will instead die.

Some people speculated, and the others agreed.

I think so too. I think the people from the underworld want to wait for bloody sky to pass before attacking.

The others nodded.

The blood-colored sky descended, and the immortal-level battlefield mutants were everywhere. If they didnʼt enter a certain stronghold at that time, they would most likely die.

They would be attacked by countless mutants, and no matter how strong they were, they would be killed.

If they couldnʼt take down this stronghold, the people of the underworld would be in danger.

Most people agreed with this guess.

However, they did not relax.

The bloody sky would last for half a month.

Half a month later, they would still be attacked by the underworld beings.

letʼs hope that our reinforcements will arrive before the bloody sky descends.

Someone sighed.

They had already sent people to the other regions to ask for help. If reinforcements from the other regions arrived, they still had a chance.

In the blink of an eye, a few days had passed.

The sky was gradually dyed with a layer of red. The blood-colored sky was about to descend.

However, they still did not receive any reinforcements.

Everyoneʼs heart sank.

Without reinforcements, once the bloody sky passed and the underworld creatures attacked again, they would definitely not be able to defend. At that time, how many people would die in battle?

This was not the origin ground. If they died in battle, they would really die.

”If we lose again, the sunset Mountains will all fall into the hands of the underworld creatures.”

Everyone from the Yang realm had unsightly expressions.

If the sunset Mountain range fell into the hands of the underworld, it would be very bad for the Yang realm.

First, the balance in the surroundings would be broken. The underworld creatures in the sunset Mountain range could send troops to other areas to attack the Yang realmʼs strongholds and form a chain reaction.

Second, the people from the Yang-realm who entered the immortal-level battlefield later would be in danger as long as they appeared in the sunset Mountain range because there was no stronghold to enter.

In the sunset Mountains, they would only be attacked by the creatures of the underworld. If they waited until the bloody sky, they would only be killed.

But now, they had no other choice.

”Someoneʼs coming.”

Since someone had called out ...

He could see many beams of light flying over from the distance.

At a rough glance, there were at least a hundred.

Could it be a being from the underworld?

That was impossible!

The blood-colored sky was about to descend, and the underworld beings could not attack now. If they failed, they would all die.

”Itʼs not a being from the netherworld, itʼs from the Yang realm. Could it be that our reinforcements have arrived?”

Someone was overjoyed.

From the aura, the person was indeed a living being from the Yang realm.

Could it be that their reinforcements had arrived at the last moment?

”Why do these people look so familiar? they seem to be from another stronghold in the sunset Mountains.”

Someone said.

Because they were close now, they could gradually see the appearance of those flowing lights.

”They really are from another stronghold.”

”There are quite a few people from the same universe as me. I wonʼt be wrong.”

Everyoneʼs expression turned ugly.

Soon, hundreds of figures appeared outside the city wall.

These people were all in a sorry state. Many of them were injured and bloodied, and their auras were weak. It was clear that they had just experienced a great battle not long ago.

”Let us enter the city.”

Someone called out from outside.

”What happened? why did you come here?”

Someone shouted in the city.

underworld beings, gather your strength and attack our stronghold. Half a day ago, our stronghold was broken through, and we barely escaped the encirclement.

Someone answered.

What?

The Yang realm beings in the city turned pale with fright and their hearts sank.

In an instant, they understood why the underworld creatures had retreated a few days ago and did not attack them. It was because the underworld creatures had gone to attack another stronghold.

They would first gather all their forces and break through one of the strongholds before the bloody sky descended.
