Invincibility Begins with a Super Fairy Manny

Chapter 2101: Chapter 2102: I’ll Take Her Place (First Update)

At the base of this Pure Land Buddhist Country lies an endless void.

At this moment, amidst the void, a sudden flash of light streaks by — it is Yue Sha, chasing the demon with all his might.

He has been sprinting for the duration of a cup of tea, yet he still hasn’t seen even a trace of that demon.

This inevitably makes him more anxious.

Because with each passing second, the chances of something happening to the copper door increase, severely threatening Ying Lou’s life.

So he is urgently heading deeper into the void.

Suddenly.

A gigantic copper door appears ahead, and before the door stands the demon — disguised as Xue An.

Yue Sha immediately halts his steps.

Upon seeing Yue Sha, the demon smiles slightly, ”You’ve come quickly; this little girl must be very important to you!”

Its words are filled with strong confidence and indifference, chilling to the bone.

Because the tone feels like a cat speaking to a mouse under its paw, full of playfulness and cruelty.

Yue Sha’s pupils instantly contract to the size of needle points because he sees a sinister blossom floating beside the demon.

The petals are crimson like blood, ominous in their signification, with the stamens resembling black vines tightly binding a person.

Yue Sha takes a deep breath, his voice trembling as he softly calls out, ”Ying Lou...”

Indeed!

Bound within this exceedingly strange flower is Ying Lou.

At present, her eyes are tightly shut, her face pale, and there is no breath around her, as if... she were dead.

Yue Sha had entered Dingchan Temple at a young age, exceptionally gifted with unmatched diligence, thus attaining profound Buddhist cultivation at a young age; otherwise, he wouldn’t have become friends with Xue An and taught him many Buddhist sect skills.

Yet, no matter how steadfast his heart realm or how deep his cultivation, upon witnessing this scene, Yue Sha was instantly undone.

His eyes widened in rage, fixed on the demon, ”What have you done to Ying Lou? What’s wrong with her?”

The demon cackled strangely, then gently beckoned with its finger for the strange flower to fly closer.

It then extended its hand and slowly traced Ying Lou’s cheek with a finger, speaking softly, ”Rest assured, I’ve done nothing to her, she’s merely in a temporary coma now.”

Upon hearing this, Yue Sha relaxes slightly, but the demon’s following words awaken his fury.

With a wicked grin, the demon teased.

”How could I so easily kill such a tender, promising seed? Since she foiled my plans, I shall collect my due with interest! So...”

The demon suddenly began laughing oddly, ”You know, many grown-ups fancy this, so once I take her back and offer her to the esteemed lords, I’m sure to receive rich rewards! What do you think of that?”

Yue Sha’s body shone with golden fervor, his eyes seething with endless murderous intent, declaring word by word, ”Release her!”

Yet the demon remains unmoved, instead, cheerfully replies, ”Aren’t you monks supposed to preach compassion? Why such intense murderous intent now?”

Yue Sha says nothing, merely keeping his gaze fixed on the demon.

If looks could kill, the demon would have died countless times.

Yet the demon laughs even more maniacally, ”Tsk tsk, a monk stirred to murder over a little girl, is this what they call severing worldly ties?”

”I said, release her!” Yue Sha, eyes cold as ice, repeats with emphasis.

But the demon seems unmoved, its gaze cast afar, casually noting, ”Another one has arrived!”

As soon as the words fall, another flash of light arrives — it’s Maitreya.

Upon witnessing the scene before the copper door, his expression also turns grave.

The demon continues its eerie laughter, ”Heh heh, another monk arrives, what? Are you also here for this little girl? Seems this little girl... is indeed popular!”

His tone is extremely lewd and obscene, causing Maitreya, a master of the Esoteric Sect, to frown, coldly replying, ”Release her, and I can spare your life!”

”Oh, I’m so scared!” The demon exaggeratedly screams, yet suddenly extends its hand before Ying Lou, its fingers turning into sharp daggers pressed against her throat.

With fierce menace, the demon taunts, ”You better understand who you’re speaking to, or I can’t guarantee this little girl will stand unharmed before you; such a pretty face — what a shame if something were lost, right?”

While speaking, the demon’s fingers slightly tremble, piercing Ying Lou’s throat.

A drop of blood instantly seeps out as Ying Lou utters a faint groan, awakening.

Seeing the demon in front and Yue Sha and Maitreya afar, she quickly comprehends the situation, then calmly beyond her years, says, ”Uncle, don’t mind me, kill this monster first!”

Yue Sha stands silent, face serious.

But the demon bursts into laughter.

”Tsk tsk, things are becoming more intriguing! What? You think death solves everything? Let me tell you, it’s useless — even if you die, I’ll capture your spirit and offer it to the lord who loves this; then, your spirit will eternally suffer without relief — how’s that? Sound inviting?”

This declaration turns Ying Lou’s little face pale.

Despite her maturity beyond her years, even unafraid of death, she’s still a child.

Hearing the horror in the demon’s description, she trembles, her large eyes moistening for the first time.

But the more she does that, the more the demon gets excited.

At this moment, Yue Sha suddenly speaks, ”I can substitute for her!”

What?

Both the demon and Ying Lou turn their heads.

Only to see Yue Sha, hands clasped, speaking calmly, ”No matter how lovely she is, she’s just an ordinary human clan girl, while I am a top cultivator of the Pure Land Buddhist Country, thus more valuable than her!”

Saying this, Yue Sha quietly gazes at the demon, ”I now willingly offer to take her place in suffering the pain you described!”

Ying Lou stares at Yue Sha’s calm face, tears streaming out.

The demon, momentarily stunned, then bursts into eerie laughter, ”Good! Such devotion and righteousness from a monk, but the trouble is, she’s just an ordinary girl, easy for me to grasp, while you are a top-level Buddhist cultivator. If you harbor any other intentions...”
