After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 2134: Chapter 551: This Is Youth

A last-minute victory.

The whole team was quite excited.

Huang Kaiwen invited his teammates over for dinner at home.

Back home.

Huang Kaiwen saw an unexpected person.

Lily quickly explained: ”There were no important classes today, so I went shopping with Antonella and Monica, and later picked up Gabriel and Francesco.”

”Uncle Kevin, don’t you want to see us?”

Francesco Gattuso asked timidly.

His sister Gabriel had already thrown herself into Huang Kaiwen’s arms.

Huang Kaiwen smiled and said: ”How could that be, Uncle Kevin is just too happy. Have you eaten?”

”Not yet, we just got back home too.”

Lily pointed at Gabriel and said: ”The little miss wanted to go ice skating earlier, so it just ended.”

”That’s great, I’ll have Sergio bring you some food, and you can stay in the house with the kids.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Today, not many family members were invited; they couldn’t chat amidst the noise, so it’s better to dine with the kids inside.

Once the Gattuso kids were settled, Huang Kaiwen stepped outside and saw Gattuso sitting there lost in thought.

Huang Kaiwen took two bottles of water over, sat down and handed one to Gattuso, asking: ”Is our Telles pondering the meaning of life again?”

Gattuso had a rough exterior but a very delicate heart, and he read more than most Milan players.

”Get lost!”

Gattuso said irritably: ”I’m just thinking that all this strength is built by you alone; when you retire, Milan’s dynasty will collapse.”

Huang Kaiwen looked at Gattuso in surprise, not expecting him to say that.

Huang Kaiwen said: ”A strong team will attract more outstanding players and coaches, you’re worried for nothing, otherwise when Sir Ferguson retires, Manchester United fans might as well commit suicide, right?”

”True, I wonder what the future holds for Manchester United.”

Gattuso said with a smile.

”It might just surprise you greatly!”

Huang Kaiwen winked as he spoke.

Without Sir Ferguson, Manchester United briefly looked somewhat like themselves under Mou and Ole, but both were quickly ousted.

From Manchester United and later Chelsea,

Huang Kaiwen realized deeply that if the management is no good, a big club is just a pile of crap.

So now he’s intentionally maintaining the two factions of Gagliani and Maldini.

Though the two don’t get along, they both care about Milan deeply, and they have abilities.

If replaced by those Wall Street douchebags, it might just become the next Glazers.

Renewing useless players’ contracts, treating them like assets to manage.

The two chatted for a while.

Huang Kaiwen could tell that Gattuso had a lot of ideas about the team.

This is also the reason why he’ll take up a coaching role in the future.

But Milan needs even better coaches to thrive.

If Gattuso becomes a better coach, there might be a chance to return to Milan to coach.

Huang Kaiwen focused on the beef tenderloin in his hands, and Nesta came over with a bottle of wine and sat beside him.

”I thought you didn’t drink?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

Nesta took great care of himself, after all, he’s quite fragile.

”I just feel that no matter how cautious I am, it doesn’t make a difference, I feel like a burden.” Nesta said after taking a gulp of champagne: ”No key player of a team plays only 10 or 20 games a season.”

”So what?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

”I want to leave at the end of the season.”

Nesta remained silent for several seconds before speaking.

Huang Kaiwen snatched the wine bottle from him and tossed it aside, saying: ”Even if you can’t play that many games, your experience can still help the young players in the team, help Silva, the Bender brothers, and the youth players grow, that’s also very important.”

”Alright, you’ve convinced me.”

Nesta said, half-laughing, half-crying.

Huang Kaiwen patted his shoulder and said: ”If you can be persuaded so easily, it means you didn’t really want to leave Milan. In my homeland, there’s a saying that no amount of reading beats seeing the world for yourself, but when you’ve wandered outside long enough, you’ll find that even the thieves at the entrance of Milan Cathedral are worth missing, no place compares to home.”

”My hometown is not Milan.”

Nesta explained.

”If I say it is, it is!”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Damn it.

The Yellow Ball King is giving these old guys psychological counseling every day, next season he should ask Gagliani to pay him a psychiatrist’s salary.

Ramos, who had almost finished his tasks, sat beside Huang Kaiwen.

Huang Kaiwen gave him a thumbs-up and said: ”Your cooking skills are better than Sannetti’s, you seem more like an Argentinian than him.”

”That’s because he does it to make money, while I do barbecuing purely out of interest, the starting points are different, so the taste can’t be the same, can it?”

Ramos said with a smile.

Huang Kaiwen gave him another thumbs-up.

No wonder he’s a grad student.

While the two were chatting.

Francesco Gattuso walked over.

”What’s up, young man?”

Huang Kaiwen asked with a smile.

”Uncle Kevin, Uncle Sergio...”

Francesco greeted hesitantly, not stating his purpose.

”If there’s anything, feel free to tell us, we won’t tell your stubborn old dad!”

Huang Kaiwen wrapped an arm around the child and sat down.

”It’s like this, Uncle Kevin.”

Francesco said: ”I encountered bad people, and of all the people I know, Uncle Sergio is the most skilled, I hope to learn martial arts from him.”

”What’s going on, did an adult bully you?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.
