After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Post-match press conference.

Mourinho was in high spirits, even changed into a crisp spare suit.

Sitting there with a slight smile on his lips, his face devoid of much expression, exuding an air of superiority.

Mark Hughes wore a sullen face.

If it weren’t for the boss paying so much, he wouldn’t have wanted to attend the conference.

Today was destined to be humiliating.

Ah, it’s all for the money.

The press conference venue was in a commotion.

The journalists were going crazy.

Especially the British journalists.

The arrival of the Premier League’s number one, Huang Kaiwen, was set to dominate most of the headlines.

The press room at Stamford Bridge was packed.

It was even hard to find a place to stand.

The British were clearly more experienced, occupying the front rows.

Foreign journalists couldn’t compete with them.

”Mark, tell us how it feels to lose 10:1. Do you lack the ability to coach a Premier League team?”

”Mr. Mourinho, you substituted Kevin before halftime, was it because Kevin was injured?”

”Jose, can you tell us why today Chelsea’s other players didn’t score as many goals as Kevin did?”

”Real Madrid lost again, and Robben was benched, what’s your take on that, Jose?”

”Mr. Hughes, why is your coaching performance so far below what you’ve described?”

”John, share with us the experience of playing alongside Kevin.”

”When Robinho squatted down during the wall setup to avoid the ball, will he be penalized?”

”In the next Premier League match against Manchester United, will Kevin start, Jose?”

”Kevin performed a hat-trick with free-kicks, do you think his or Mihajlović’s free-kick hat-trick was better?”

”It’s said Kevin’s penalty kick exceeded 200 km/h, did he injure himself because of the power?”

”Today’s score set the record for the largest margin in Premier League history, what are your thoughts on this match?”

”How is Hart’s condition, Mr. Hughes?”

”...”

The enthusiasm of the British journalists startled Mourinho.

He didn’t expect such a large turnout for a match against Manchester City.

Mourinho suppressed his surprise and tried hard to manage his expressions.

Mark Hughes decided to speak and then leave, he said straight out: ”Today we lost to Kevin, not Chelsea. Kevin indeed demonstrated superior ability, continuously scoring and destroying our confidence. Next, I’ll ensure the players adjust their mindset well. As for Joe Hart, I’m not quite sure about his condition. Let me say it again, this score does not represent the gap between the two teams. If Kevin were a Manchester City player, Chelsea would have been the one losing.”

After finishing, Hughes stood up directly and quickly left the venue.

As if afraid of being bitten if he stayed a moment longer.

The journalists had no objection to his departure.

If he wasn’t a former Manchester United captain, journalists wouldn’t even bother to interview him.

Among Premier League managers, Mourinho is the most newsworthy.

Then there are Ferguson and Wenger, that pair of old rivals.

As for Hughes or Keane, they need to be associated with Manchester United in reports.

Once the press conference quieted down, Mourinho spoke with a smile: ”Today’s match will make the team’s future increasingly better and greatly boost the team’s confidence. Kevin’s performance was outstanding, which I expected. As for why Kevin scored more than others, it’s entirely due to his abilities and tactics.”

”Jose, the tactics favored Kevin, doesn’t that mean you’re relying on Kevin? Tottenham’s strength isn’t much greater than Manchester City’s, yet you only drew with Tottenham.”

The journalist reminded.

Mourinho’s expression changed slightly, after a quick adjustment, he smiled again and said: ”This is a completely different game, you can’t determine a team’s strength based on names. My tactics don’t favor Kevin, it’s just that Kevin’s personal ability is too strong, when he gets the ball, cooperation isn’t needed, and four of his goals today were set pieces.”

”Tell us about Real Madrid.”

Another journalist asked.

”I don’t want to talk about other teams. Real Madrid is a great team and also our opponent in this season’s UEFA Champions League. However, we are confident we will come out on top of the group ahead of Real Madrid.”

Mourinho said.

”Who gives you this confidence? Is it Kevin? Last season, you lost both legs to them...”

Before the journalist could finish, Mourinho slammed the table hard and shouted: ”Enough, I have already said, Chelsea won’t excessively rely on any one player.”

After saying this, Mourinho sat there with a dark face.

Not wanting to speak at all.

Terry quickly pulled the microphone in front of him and said: ”We are a united team, the coach’s tactical arrangements are very detailed. As the coach said, we are not overly reliant on Kevin, but Kevin’s skill is just that good, any chance he gets, he can directly score the ball.”

”What do you think of Kevin’s shooting power?”

Terry shook his head with a smile and said: ”You know, when I was moving near the wall, seeing the speed of the ball, I only had one thought, if it hit me, I would surely get injured! I turned sideways at that moment because I thought a broken arm would be easier to deal with than broken ribs, that was my instinctive reaction. I believe after today, many people won’t want to face us. If I were an opponent of Chelsea, I’d be terrified if I saw Kevin wind up for a powerful shot.”

”Is Kevin injured, what’s his status?”

A reporter from ”The Times” asked.
