After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Huang Kaiwen gritted his teeth as he chased behind Bolt but simply couldn’t catch up, only managing to not fall too far behind.

”Come on, Kevin, you can do it!!!”

”Pass him, Kevin!!!”

”Run faster, Kevin!!!”

Damn it.

Is it as simple as just running faster?

After 30 meters, Huang Kaiwen clearly felt the gap widening.

From the way Bolt looked up front, he was clearly not going all out, and yet the gap was that pronounced.

Halfway through the race, Huang Kaiwen was about 2 to 3 meters behind.

Despite Huang Kaiwen’s efforts, the gap was still growing.

In the second half of the race, the distance between the two was visibly larger.

Bolt was the first to cross the finish line, and Baldini called out the time: ”9.76 seconds.”

After Huang Kaiwen crossed the finish line, Baldini spoke up again: ”10.33 seconds, Kevin has set a new record for the first team!”

”You’re very strong, Kevin,”

Bolt said, extending his hand.

”I know you didn’t give it your all,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”That’s not the point, you’re not a professional track athlete, so running 10.33 is already quite an achievement. I think it would be hard to find anyone faster than you on the soccer pitch. I’ve also noticed something else, your reaction time is very quick. If you underwent professional training, you could definitely run under 10 seconds,”

Bolt declared.

”Maybe,”

Huang Kaiwen said with a laugh.

After resting, Huang Kaiwen tried again, scoring 10.35 seconds.

That must be his limit for now.

That evening, the Real Madrid official website posted a photo of Huang Kaiwen with Bolt, captioned: ”Our Mr. World Football competed against Bolt and achieved a tremendous result of 10.26 seconds, Kevin is truly the ’Flyman’ of the green pitch.”

The next day, Huang Kaiwen saw the report in the newspaper.

He was nearly scared to death.

The Real Madrid official site really knows how to boast; why didn’t they just claim he ran under 10 seconds?

Thankfully they reported 10.26 seconds, once he, Huang, gets used to a different pace, he should be able to reach that level.

January 20th.

The Real Madrid coach arrived at Vicente Calderon Stadium.

As Huang Kaiwen got off the bus with his teammates, the waiting journalists went crazy.

”Kevin, did you really run 10.26 seconds?”

”Bolt said you have the potential to win the 100 meters, is that true?”

”Are you going to give up soccer to focus on running?”

”Do you have any thoughts on participating in track competitions in the future?”

Huang Kaiwen swiftly entered the stadium with his teammates.

Bolt did not deny what the Real Madrid website said and even hyped it up a bit, which Huang Kaiwen did not expect.

Upon entering the locker room, he started to change his clothes.

Cassano remarked, ”It’s a pity Calderon doesn’t have a track, or Atletico would be dead meat today.”

”Shut up, jerk!”

Ramos scolded.

They had all witnessed that day’s race; the official website’s account was a bit exaggerated, but there was no disputing that Huang Kaiwen was the fastest in the team.

Huang Kaiwen casually pocketed the second prize lottery ticket.

Looking at the full 100 [expectation points], he chose to draw a prize.

[Ding, you have obtained a single game experience card for the Premier League 1999-2000 season, Round 29, Liverpool vs. Derby County, Michael Owen]

Not bad.

Pretty generous.

Recent discussions about the Yellow Ball King’s speed have been heating up; had he drawn Maguire, Yellow Ball King might have faked an injury today, as he couldn’t afford to lose face.

Owen’s speed was sufficiently fast, so there was no worry about being exposed today.

...

”Hehe, there has been a lot of buzz these past few days about Huang Kaiwen’s 100-meter speed; from what I personally observed, a 10.26 for Huang Kaiwen should be no problem,”

Zhang said with a laugh.

”Yes, actually, Huang Kaiwen’s greatest strength is his explosiveness; many times, he suddenly accelerates and shakes off the defending players. Soccer players typically don’t need to run 100 meters; it’s more about short sprints and sudden bursts of speed,”

”Right, it’s also about small-scale changes of direction to dribble past opponents. Huang Kaiwen has so many skills that he hardly ever needs to use his deep-fried meatballs.”

”Mainly, Huang Kaiwen most of the time doesn’t even need to use dribbling moves; with just a feint, he easily gets past the opposition,”

”Hehe, let’s take a look at the starting lineups for both teams.”

Atletico Madrid plays a 442 with double defensive midfielder:

Goalie: Abbiati,

Defenders: Antonio Lopez, Fabiano Eller, Pablo Ibáñez, Mario Peña,

Midfielders: Simão, Raúl García, Thiago Mota, Maxi Rodríguez,

Forwards: Aguero, Fran.

Real Madrid: 433 with double defensive midfielder:

Goalie: Casillas,

Defenders: Torres, Ivanovic, Pepe, Ramos,

Midfielders: Gago, Guti, De Jong,

Forwards: Huang Kaiwen, Raul, Cassano.

”Atletico has been racking up a lot of cards lately, Aguirre’s team continues its tenacious style. I wonder what kind of developments today’s Madrid Derby will see.”

”Hehe, I feel like the match will be explosive.”

”Today’s starting goalkeeper for Atletico, Abbiati, was a teammate of Huang Kaiwen during his time at Milan; I’m sure facing Huang Kaiwen, he definitely has quite a few things he’d like to say.”

Abbiati watched Huang Kaiwen approach the center circle for the kickoff.

Compared to regular players, he understood Huang Kaiwen better.

Having been loaned to Atletico, he had thought about facing Huang Kaiwen one day.

But now that the day had arrived, he realized he still hadn’t mentally prepared himself.

That was the fierce man who’d dribble past the whole team on a whim during training; Abbiati was sure that the Atletico defense line couldn’t stop Huang Kaiwen.

Just as Milan’s loyal fans often say, facing Huang Kaiwen as the opponent, the only question is how many goals you’ll concede.

Abbiati hoped that given his and Huang Kaiwen’s acquaintance, Huang Kaiwen wouldn’t go too hard on them today, right?
