Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 3086: Chapter 3085: The Blood Clan’s Objective

Afterward, they stopped at a place several kilometers away from the Abyss Prohibition Barrier, underground.

Then, Fengtian led them, emerging from the ground.

Lin Dong realized they had reached the back of the Five Elements Stele, a hidden mountain area.

He raised his eyes to look forward, seeing the abyss shrouded in darkness.

Fengtian said to Lin Dong, ”That’s called the Black Abyss. This time, our purpose here is to rescue someone from that Black Abyss.”

Hua!!!

Hearing this, Lin Dong was shocked and blurted out, asking, ”Rescue... rescue whom?”

”Blood Ancestor!” Fengtian gazed into the Black Abyss and slowly uttered these two words.

Upon hearing this, Lin Dong was even more shocked.

Blood Ancestor?

Could it be the real ancestor-level powerhouse? The one rumored to suppress many ancestor-level powerhouses even among them?

The Blood Clan, compared to human ancestor-level powerhouses, was at least a notch stronger.

In the past, he led the Extraterritorial Blood Clan and almost exterminated the entire Martial Arts World.

The Human Martial Arts World united and formed the Alliance of Heavenly Realm to resist the Extraterritorial Blood Clan.

And among human martial artists, they gathered all ancestor-level powerhouses back then, only to defeat the Blood Ancestor.

”The Blood Ancestor is still alive?” Lin Dong asked his own question.

From some data, he got the message that all human martial artists united back then, all human ancestor-level powerhouses, apparently killed the extraterritorial blood clan’s Blood Ancestor.

Yet unexpectedly, the reality seemed otherwise.

Fengtian slowly nodded, ”Of course still alive, the Blood Ancestor’s bloodline is extremely powerful, possessing terrifying regenerative abilities. With those human ancestor-level powerhouses alone, how could they possibly extinguish him?”

”Only time can defeat him! And even if it’s time, it requires a long duration...”

Lin Dong was shocked.

And the Blood Clan Young Master slowly raised his head, saying, ”As long as the Blood Ancestor comes out, our Extraterritorial Blood Clan will rise again. Humans will surely become our ’food.’”

”First extinguish all disobedient martial artists in the Human Martial Arts World. Then gather those common people as our backup fresh blood ’food.’”

”The Blood Clan shall unify the entire world!”

Upon hearing these words, Lin Dong was even more shocked in his heart.

”No wonder the Blood Clan calls this a big action, rescuing the Blood Ancestor, letting the Blood Ancestor reemerge, what could be bigger for the Blood Clan?”

”No wonder they prioritize this, setting other matters aside...” Lin Dong understood many things in his heart.

If it weren’t for this matter, Fengtian probably would have come to find him long ago.

The Blood Clan Young Master too!

No wonder the Extraterritorial Blood Clan has been so high-profile lately, no more hiding.

If the Blood Ancestor is truly rescued by them, then the Extraterritorial Blood Clan wouldn’t need to hide like before anymore.

The ones who should be hiding should be the human martial artists.

On the entire Extraterrestrial Battlefield, by then, the ruling race would change from the Human Clan to the Extraterritorial Blood Clan.

Lin Dong had many doubts.

”Lord Fengtian, I’m puzzled, since the Blood Ancestor is still alive, why haven’t we rescued him before? Why wait until now?”

”If we had rescued him before, our Extraterritorial Blood Clan would have long ruled the Extraterrestrial Battlefield, wouldn’t need to hide like rats?”

Upon hearing Lin Dong’s question, Fengtian said nothing, but the Blood Clan Young Master was a bit angry.

He snorted coldly, clearly displeased with Lin Dong describing the Extraterritorial Blood Clan as ’rats.’

”Peach, what do you mean by hiding like rats? Can you talk properly?” The Blood Clan Young Master reprimanded.

Lin Dong quickly acted as if he had misspoken and corrected himself, ”Sorry, I didn’t say it right. It should be like burrowing rats...”

”That’s not the point, the point is, why haven’t we rescued the Blood Ancestor before? Why endure?”

The Blood Clan Young Master snorted and said, ”What do you know? Do you think this Black Abyss is easy to enter? Do you think rescuing whoever is imprisoned inside the Black Abyss is easy?”

”The Black Abyss contains a terrifying power of the five elements. It is precisely because of that power that the Blood Ancestor is suppressed within.”

”Otherwise, with the Blood Ancestor’s strength, do you think some ’Dragon Lock Chains’ could really suppress him?”

Lin Dong continued to ask, ”Will the power of the five elements disappear tomorrow, on the day of the Seven Star Alignment?”

”You are somewhat clever.” The Blood Clan Young Master had to admit, the other party was indeed somewhat clever.

Talking to a smart person has the advantage that many things don’t need to be explained in detail.

Just a hint, and the other party can understand and comprehend.

”Tomorrow is the day of the Seven Star Alignment. At this time, the power of the five elements will weaken. It won’t disappear, but it will weaken.”

”But that is enough!”

”As long as the power of the five elements is weakened, we will have a way to temporarily open the prohibition door of the Black Abyss and enter inside. To rescue the Blood Ancestor!”

Upon hearing this, Lin Dong finally understood.

”I see.”

At the moment, Lin Dong’s face didn’t show much reaction, but his heart was somewhat anxious.

He wanted to send out the news, but he couldn’t do it.

Sending out information under Fengtian’s eyes was almost as difficult as ascending to heaven.

Even Lin Dong couldn’t do it.

”Isn’t there anyone guarding such an important place?” Lin Dong found that near the Black Abyss, there wasn’t any powerful guardian.

Logically, this Black Abyss, suppressing terrifying beings like the Blood Ancestor, would dispatch human powerhouses to guard here.

This puzzled him.

After pondering for a moment, Lin Dong asked casually, ”Lord Fengtian, Young Master, do you think the human powerhouses are stupid?”

”Such an important place, and they don’t send strong men to guard?”

”Do they look down on our Blood Ancestor? Not even sending ancestor-level powerhouses?”

Upon hearing this, the Blood Clan Young Master glanced at him and shook his head, saying, ”I just said you were smart, but now it seems you are just so.”

”The reason why humans don’t send ancestor-level powerhouses to guard comes from many reasons. Firstly, after the establishment of the Alliance of Heavenly Realm to suppress our Blood Clan, they prevent any force from controlling the Extraterrestrial Battlefield. Thus, they don’t allow any force’s ancestor-level powerhouses to enter inside...”

”Also, guarding the Black Abyss wouldn’t appeal to ancestor-level powerhouses naturally. They wouldn’t want to waste their remaining lifespans here...”

”Besides, with the power of the five elements, the Black Abyss cannot be entered or exited. This force is enough to suppress the Blood Ancestor. Whether anyone guards or not, the result is the same. Humans aren’t stupid, so why waste an ancestor-level powerhouse to do gatekeeping here?”

Hearing these, Lin Dong understood.

But he still pretended to be clueless and said, ”Then wouldn’t they send even junior patriarch-level beings to guard?”

”Under normal circumstances, it’s unnecessary. But haven’t you seen the past two days, near the Five Elements Stele, many junior patriarchs coming? What do you think they’re here for? Just to make a scene at the Five Elements Stele?” The Blood Clan Young Master casually said.

Upon hearing this, Lin Dong finally felt relieved.

This means that Yun Che and the other junior patriarch-level powerhouses recently came to guard the Black Abyss.

And with them here, Fengtian and the others successfully rescuing the Blood Ancestor seems not so easy...
