Chapter 2892: Chapter 2891: Blood Clan’s Grand Plan

Tian Sha’s face was extremely ugly; Lin Dong’s words had hit a sore spot.

Now two days have passed, and if his true self were really intending to come, then by the reckoning of time, he should already be here.

Yet he’s not here and has severed contact with him.

This implies that his true self has actually given up on him.

His true self, the Blood Clan Young Master, after all, possesses the Three Corpses.

And he is merely one of the corpses; his true self was unwilling to risk coming for him and abandoning him, which is a possibility.

But he found it hard to accept.

”Damn it...” At the moment, he has already restored part of his condition through the ’Replenishing Essence Pill.’ But he still cannot break free from Lin Dong’s binding.

”Lin Dong, my true self will definitely come. You can wait another day...” He still doesn’t believe that his true self has forsaken him.

He still holds hope.

Lin Dong said: ”Alright then, let’s wait another day.”

Saying this, he refined some more Replenishing Essence Pills, then fed them to Tian Sha.

Tian Sha was truly puzzled. After taking some Replenishing Essence Pills, he asked, ”Lin Dong, what’s your intention?”

”What kind of pills are you feeding me exactly?”

Lin Dong laughingly said: ”I told you, didn’t I? I’m giving you restorative pills to help you recover.”

”Are you really that kind?” Tian Sha became more suspicious.

”After all, you’re about to die. A recovery before death is quite normal, isn’t it?” Lin Dong shrugged.

”You’re a rather good person then.” Tian Sha pursed his mouth.

Lin Dong laughingly said: ”After all, our Dragon Country has a rule, respect for the dead, you know. In ancient times, those sentenced to execution were given a chicken leg before death to let them have a full meal before they go.”

”You’re the same.”

”I see.” Upon hearing this, Tian Sha no longer asked, gulping down the pills.

He found that the more pills he ate, it indeed restored his condition, recovering part of his blood essence.

The more he recovers, the more help he could offer if his true self arrives. When the time comes, he plans to deal with Lin Dong together with his true self.

Thinking of this, he ate even more, striving harder to recover his blood essence and condition.

Seeing this, Lin Dong nodded in satisfaction.

Like a farmer feeding a ’pig,’ watching his pig gobble up food and grow fat.

Lin Dong continued to wait there for the Blood Clan Young Master.

And on the other side.

At the distant location of the Extraterrestrial Battlefield.

The Blood Clan Young Master and Blood Slave were together; they were originally preparing to head to the battlefield where Lin Dong and Tian Sha were.

However, midway through, the Blood Clan Young Master stopped and made another decision.

Directly severed the contact with the Heavenly Corpse linked to ’Tian Sha.’

Moreover, he decided not to go.

This made the nearby Blood Slave feel very surprised.

He asked: ”Young Master, why not go?”

The Blood Clan Young Master said: ”That Lin Dong can subdue the Heavenly Corpse, as you can imagine, he might have had another breakthrough.”

”His strength has reached the Heavenly Realm Third Layer Heaven.”

”I previously received real-time communications from the Heavenly Corpse, learned that Lin Dong didn’t even use Sword two, just using the Law of Heaven and Earth, he defeated and suppressed him.”

”The Heavenly Corpse’s strength actually didn’t manage to fathom Lin Dong’s depths, didn’t even force out his strongest moves. So for the sake of caution, I decided not to go.”

”This...” Blood Slave was very surprised, ”Young Master, does even now you don’t have the confidence to defeat Lin Dong?”

”He has already grown to such a terrifying extent?”

The Blood Clan Young Master shook his head: ”I certainly have confidence, and there’s an eighty percent certainty that I can defeat him. However, I just don’t want to take this risk.”

”If it were another time, then perhaps I would go. But now, we have more important matters waiting for us to do.”

”Next, our Blood Clan, the main focus, will be on that matter. As for Lin Dong, we’ll only deal with him after achieving that matter.”

Upon hearing this, Blood Slave’s eyes flickered, knowing clearly what that matter the Young Master referred to.

That matter is extremely important to their Blood Clan, concerning the ability for their Blood Clan to rise again.

Although extinguishing Lin Dong, the potential enemy of the Blood Clan, is also crucial for them.

But compared to that matter, it’s still quite insignificant.

”Young Master, can’t we extinguish Lin Dong first, and then our Blood Clan goes to do that matter? If we go now, the timing is still right.” Blood Slave asked again.

The Blood Clan Young Master snorted and replied: ”Didn’t I say? Right now, facing him, I have only an eighty percent certainty. Although my winning probability is higher, even if there’s only a twenty percent possibility for failure, I don’t want to take this risk.”

”Can’t bet!”

”Although I don’t want to abandon the Heavenly Corpse, since it’s a crucial piece among the human martial artists. But in the end, it exposed its identity and was subdued. I have to abandon him.”

”The Heavenly Corpse is important, yet I can’t risk for him, thereby affecting the subsequent big plan of our Blood Clan.”

After hearing the Blood Clan Young Master’s explanation, Blood Slave continually nodded, ”Young Master is wise!”

The Blood Clan Young Master continued: ”Moreover, the Heavenly Corpse is still alive. I don’t understand why Lin Dong doesn’t kill him?”

”This is evidently a trap! Perhaps there are more powerful human martial arts experts secretly waiting in ambush.”

”What if there’s a Secondary Ancestor-level figure around as well? If we go there, wouldn’t we be walking into a trap?”

”I know that Lin Dong has quite a good relationship with some Secondary Ancestors. Like with Yun Che from Kunlun, as well as Tian Qiongzi from the Tian Family, and that Poison Emperor from Tang Sect...”

”If he invited them to ambush us, then at that time, don’t mention killing Lin Dong, we might not even manage to escape.”

Upon hearing this, Blood Slave realized how meticulously thoughtful the Young Master was.

”Young Master is wise, subordinate truly didn’t think of these things. Now it seems abandoning the Heavenly Corpse is indeed the wise choice.”

The Blood Clan Young Master nodded, then said: ”Let’s go!”

They headed towards a farther destination, choosing not to save Tian Sha or engage in a showdown with Lin Dong.

Though it may seem that the Blood Clan Young Master considered a bit much, it wasn’t completely out of fear of Lin Dong’s strength.

But he ultimately didn’t come!

Saying he chickened out, saying he was afraid, would not be wrong!

Meanwhile, at the location where Lin Dong and Tian Sha were.

Another day passed, and the Blood Clan Young Master still didn’t come.

”He still didn’t come, seems like that Blood Clan Young Master is really afraid of you.” At this moment, the white-clothed Blood Monk spoke out.

He truly didn’t expect the outcome would be like this.

He’d already prepared to go jade and stone burn together with the Blood Clan Young Master. Wherever he thought, that Blood Clan Young Master dared not come.

This was based on the communication from ’Tian Sha,’ intimidated by Lin Dong’s strength!

Lin Dong at this moment then looked towards Tian Sha.

The Blood Clan Young Master dared not come, and this ’pig’ was fattened enough.

Now, there’s no reason to keep him around any longer.
