Chapter 2784: Chapter 2783: War God Competition Rules!

After the departure of the Guardian Angel ’God of Blade’ from Yingjiang Country, the guardian angels from other countries also took their leave one after another.

”We will leave first as well.”

”See you at the War God Competition in a few days.”

”...”

Everyone left one after another.

The Dragon Country War Department was the last to leave.

The Guardian Angel of Dragon Country, Dugu Tian, invited Elder Mintian to visit the Dragon Country War Department Base.

He initially thought the other party would refuse, but unexpectedly, the other party actually agreed.

”Hahaha, okay, let’s go to the Dragon Country War Department Base. Have some tea, it’s been a long time since I’ve had tea.”

He said this while looking at Lin Dong the whole time.

Dugu Tian realized that the reason the other party agreed to go to the Dragon Country War Department was because of Lin Dong.

Otherwise, with his position as an elder of the Alliance of Heavenly Realm, how could he agree so easily?

A group of people took the warship and headed for the Dragon Country War Department Base.

By the time they arrived at the Dragon Country War Department Base, the news had already come back.

The soldiers in the base knew that today they were returning triumphantly again.

”Dragon Country War Department mighty, War God Lin mighty!”

Just like before, everyone shouted loudly.

The entire Dragon Country War Department Base was filled with celebration.

Dugu Tian was in an especially good mood and hurriedly prepared another evening banquet.

At the banquet, Lin Dong and Elder Mintian sat at the main seat, while Dugu Tian sat to the side as a supporter.

Elder Mintian then said, ”Young Friend Lin, I’ve heard that you’ll be participating in the War God Competition in three days?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”I am also a part of the Dragon Country War Department, code-named Asura War God.”

”Hahaha...” Elder Mintian laughed after hearing this, ”You, the War God, are indeed the strongest in history.”

”However, this time the War God Competition will be more interesting than in previous years, as countries will be sending out Heavenly Realm Martial Artists.”

”Sigh, but if the War God Competition turns into a slaughter, it won’t be a good thing for all of us human martial artists.”

”You all know, the Extraterritorial Blood Clan has been appearing quite frequently lately. It seems they are plotting something...”

Elder Mintian transmitted this message privately to Lin Dong and Dugu Tian, the two Heavenly Realm Martial Artists.

Lin Dong and Dugu Tian listened to these words without speaking.

”Elder Mintian, please say whatever you have directly.” Lin Dong always felt that Elder Mintian seemed to imply something.

Elder Mintian smiled, then said, ”The rules for this War God Competition are as follows!”

”They are somewhat different from the past ones.”

”This time, the rule is for each battle area to send out three War Gods, and their minimum strength should be no less than a Stage Five Grandmaster. The maximum should not exceed the Secondary Ancestor!”

”You can invite external assistance, as long as they are willing, whoever you can invite is allowed.”

”Then all participants enter the ’Five Elements Forbidden Land’ of the Extraterrestrial Battlefield. In that Five Elements Forbidden Land, they kill demon beasts. The battle area that kills the most demon beasts will rank the highest.”

”Moreover, another rule is that if you kill a War God from another country, then the number of demon beasts they previously killed will be credited to you.”

”But this will certainly lead to a bloodbath, with War Gods from different battle areas killing each other.”

”However, if there was no such rule, many people would be dissatisfied, thinking that only real combat with swords and guns can truly determine a victor.”

Hearing this, Lin Dong nodded, ”I have no objection to these rules, as long as they are fair.”

Elder Mintian laughingly said, ”Young Friend Lin, what I was going to say is related to this.”

”There will be many human experts participating this time, and if they all end up killing each other, the loss would be considerable. Even the Alliance of Heavenly Realm does not wish to see such an outcome.”

”Moreover, this would be exactly what the Extraterrestrial Blood Clan would be eager for, so Young Friend Lin, if you participate in this War God Competition, I hope you will show restraint when the time comes.”

Hearing this, Lin Dong chuckled mildly, then asked, ”Elder Mintian, what do you mean by this?”

”Why are you telling me this separately?”

”Cough cough...” Elder Mintian said, ”Isn’t it because Young Friend Lin is the strongest? From the intelligence we received, Young Friend Lin has the title of Kill God outside.”

”Wherever you go, it’s almost as if the skeletons pile into mountains. In Yinghua Country, you almost wiped out the entire Martial Arts World of Yinghua Country. In Paocai Nation, the Martial Arts World, which wasn’t strong to begin with, also suffered heavily because of you.”

”In Southborne as well, your presence led to the deaths of many powerful martial artists.”

”You have entered the Extraterrestrial Battlefield, and together, the Demon Emperors and Heavenly Realm Martial Artists who died at your hands number over twenty, right?”

”This is simply unimaginable.”

Hearing this, Lin Dong said solemnly, ”Elder Mintian, I, Lin Dong, have always believed that if people respect me a foot, I will respect them a yard. But if others provoke me, then they cannot blame me for striking ruthlessly.”

”I understand what Elder Mintian means. I can give you a guarantee. Aside from the War Gods from Yingjiang Country, Xiong Country, Yujia Country, and Ancient European Country, I will not actively provoke the War Gods of other participating countries, as long as they do not provoke me first.”

”However, if they do provoke me first, then they cannot blame me.”

Hearing Lin Dong’s words, Elder Mintian quickly said, ”Young Friend Lin, it’s enough for us to have that promise from you. What we want is exactly your attitude.”

”Come, come, let’s drink tea.” Dugu Tian noticed the atmosphere was a bit off and quickly invited them to drink.

Lin Dong and Elder Mintian both raised their teacups, no longer mentioning the previous subject, having already reached a consensus.

”By the way, this time, three War Gods need to participate. Besides Young Friend Lin, who are the other two?” Elder Mintian, still curious, asked Lin Dong and Dugu Tian.

Dugu Tian did not hide anything from Elder Mintian of the Alliance of Heavenly Realm and said, ”Aside from War God Lin, there’s War God Hei Long. As for the last person, it hasn’t been decided yet.”

Dugu Tian wanted to go himself, but he is a Guardian Angel.

A Guardian Angel cannot concurrently be a War God and participate in the War God Competition.

Although this time the rules have relaxed and you can bring external assistance, with the strongest one being below Secondary Ancestor.

But a Guardian Angel concurrently serving as War God is still not allowed!

As for the last contestant, the Dragon Country War Department has not yet decided.

”I see... Then you must decide soon. The War God Competition is about to begin. The latest you can finalize the list is the day before the War God Competition starts.”

”Moreover, the list can be replaced.”

Elder Mintian reminded.

Dugu Tian nodded, not in a hurry because he knew that with Lin Dong present, what suspense could there be in this War God Competition?

So he felt the last spot, even for a non-Heavenly Realm Martial Artist, would not be an issue.

”Actually, I have someone to recommend for your Dragon Country Battle Area. He specifically sought me out before, saying he wanted to represent your Dragon Country Battle Area as a War God in this War God Competition!”

At this point, Elder Mintian spoke up.
