Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 2410: Chapter 2409: Yun Ruoxian

The inspector elder and the female Heavenly Realm martial artist from the Dragon Country had previously interacted with Lin Dong.

The first time he encountered them was also in Sakura Nation.

Back then, his strength was only that of an Earth Realm martial artist.

At that time, he broke into the Sakura Nation and almost wiped out their Earth Realm martial artists.

The guardian Aoba Nameless from the Aoba Shrine came out intending to kill Lin Dong, but was stopped by the inspector elder and the female Heavenly Realm martial artist from the Dragon Country.

Because of this past event, Lin Dong still held them in great respect.

”Inspector elder, I hope you’ve been well,” Lin Dong stepped forward, cupping his hands in salute to the inspector elder.

The inspector elder raised his head, a trace of surprise flashing in his eyes, but quickly returned to calm.

He nodded slightly in response to Lin Dong’s greeting.

The female Heavenly Realm martial artist from the Dragon Country approached and smiled slightly at Lin Dong, saying:

”Lin Dong, or rather, I should call you Lin Tian now. We meet again. I just didn’t expect that in such a short time, you actually reached the strength of a Heavenly Realm martial artist!”

Lin Dong also returned the smile, saying, ”I don’t know how to address you, fairy sister?”

Hearing Lin Dong call her ’fairy sister,’ the Dragon Country’s female Heavenly Realm martial artist giggled and said:

”Lin Dong, you have such a sweet mouth, no wonder you have so many confidantes.”

”But considering my age, I could be your great-grandmother. This seat is already over a hundred years old this year!”

From her appearance, it was clearly impossible to tell she was over a hundred years old.

She looked like a woman in her twenties.

That’s what a Heavenly Realm martial artist is!

Heavenly Realm martial artists not only have lifespans far exceeding those of ordinary people, able to live for thousands of years,

but if your age is less than three hundred years, your appearance will also stay in the youthful time of your twenties.

”My surname is Yun, and my name is Ruoxian!”

The female Heavenly Realm martial artist from the Dragon Country finally revealed her name to Lin Dong.

If Lin Dong were merely an Earth Realm martial artist, she evidently wouldn’t casually disclose her name. But Lin Dong was the youngest Heavenly Realm martial artist in history, with the aspect of a mythical figure of ten thousand years.

Such an extraordinary genius certainly had the right to know her name.

”Yun Ruoxian...” Lin Dong murmured. At that moment, a poem couldn’t help but surface in his mind.

Clouds roll and relax like an immortal trail, gently floating into the sky.

If you ask where it leads, the Immortal Mountain Jade Pavilion is hidden in the sky.

Yun Ruoxian’s demeanor was just like the depiction in the poem, as a fairy hidden in the Immortal Mountain Jade Pavilion, carefree and at ease, like clouds rolling and relaxing.

”Lin Dong, do you realize your crimes?”

At this moment, a dignified voice rang out.

The voice belonged to the inspector elder.

As soon as this voice came out, the previously relaxed atmosphere instantly turned heavy.

Lin Dong knew that the two before him had not come to Sakura Nation just to catch up.

It was because of the ’Heavenly Oath’!

Pretending not to understand, Lin Dong asked in return, ”I don’t know what you mean, inspector elder?”

”Lin Dong, don’t play dumb. Don’t tell me you don’t know about the Heavenly Oath. As a Heavenly Realm martial artist, these days you’ve committed numerous atrocities in my Sakura Nation, killing countless of our martial artists.”

”Don’t you owe an explanation to the Alliance of Heavenly Realm?” At this moment, Amaterasu Yihui shouted.

Lin Dong looked over at Amaterasu Yihui and sneered,

”Amaterasu Yihui, you, a Triple-Heaven martial artist, bring up the Alliance of Heavenly Realm against me, a First-Heaven martial artist. Aren’t you afraid of losing dignity?”

”Lin Dong, stop diverting the topic! It’s better for you to quickly give an explanation to the people of the Alliance of Heavenly Realm, or else be prepared to face the sanctions of the alliance!” Amaterasu Yihui coldly laughed.

Lin Dong explained to the inspector elder, ”Inspector elder, this Amaterasu Yihui says I violated the Heavenly Oath.”

”But when I had just broken through to become a Heavenly Realm martial artist, I was besieged by five great Heavenly Realm experts. Shouldn’t it be him, Amaterasu Yihui, who violated the Heavenly Oath?”

Upon hearing this, the inspector elder looked towards Amaterasu Yihui.

Amaterasu Yihui was stunned and hurriedly said, ”The reason why I went with the Four Great Divine Envoys of the Nine-Headed Society to besiege Lin Dong was because he had previously exterminated our Sakura Nation’s other three great shrines!”

”He violated the Heavenly Oath first...”

However, before he could finish speaking, Yun Ruoxian interrupted, ”Amaterasu Yihui, aren’t you forgetting something? The Heavenly Oath is an agreement binding Heavenly Realm martial artists! However, before destroying your Sakura Nation’s three great shrines, Lin Tian hadn’t reached the level of a Heavenly Realm martial artist.”

”Since he wasn’t a Heavenly Realm martial artist at that time, how could he have violated the Heavenly Oath?”

Hearing this, Amaterasu Yihui was rendered speechless!

Indeed, at that time, Lin Dong wasn’t a Heavenly Realm martial artist, so the argument that he violated the Heavenly Oath simply didn’t hold!

Amaterasu Yihui quickly said, ”But when he did break through to become a Heavenly Realm martial artist, he killed the Four Great Divine Envoys of the Nine-Headed Society and tens of thousands of our Sakura Nation’s martial artists! Surely that violates the Heavenly Oath?”

”The Heavenly Oath clearly states that Heavenly Realm martial artists cannot kill each other and should not easily kill those below the Heavenly Realm. Yet he, upon just becoming a Heavenly Realm martial artist, slaughtered the Four Great Divine Envoys and tens of thousands of our martial artists from Sakura Nation!”

”His actions betray the Heavenly Oath, representing a heinous crime! He should be sanctioned by the Alliance of Heavenly Realm!”

Hearing this, Lin Dong couldn’t help but laugh again.

”Amaterasu Yihui, it seems you’ve lived too long and your brain isn’t functioning well anymore.”

”The Alliance of Heavenly Realm does prohibit Heavenly Realm martial artists from killing each other. But there is a prerequisite condition.”

”That is based on the premise that there are no grudges between the parties.”

”In my case, you five great Heavenly Realm martial artists took advantage of my breakthrough to want to kill me. Thus, my actions were in passive self-defense!”

”Moreover, I have a blood feud with those Four Great Divine Envoys of the Nine-Headed Society. Twenty-one years ago, they, along with six other Heavenly Realm martial artists, making ten Heavenly Realm martial artists in total, jointly attacked my father, leaving him severely injured. As a result, my father went missing.”

”Because of him, my mother and I, lacking my father’s protection, suffered years of hardship. And my mother passed away because of this! They can be said to be the direct culprits for the destruction of my family. My killing them was an act of vengeance!”

After these words were spoken, Yun Ruoxian nodded in agreement, ”The Heavenly Oath does dictate that Heavenly Realm martial artists should not kill each other.”

”However, if there is a blood feud between them, they may engage in a fair duel with life and death depending on fate! And if one party attempts to kill the other, resulting in defensive action, that does not constitute a violation of the Heavenly Oath. Lin Tian clearly belongs to this situation.”

Upon hearing this, Amaterasu Yihui hurriedly said again:

”Then what about him killing tens of thousands of our Sakura Nation’s martial artists, how do you explain that?”

Lin Dong spread his hands and said, ”The Heavenly Oath indeed has a clause that forbids Heavenly Realm martial artists from killing those below their realm, but there is a prerequisite condition.”

”That prerequisite is based on whether the other party doesn’t provoke the Heavenly Realm martial artist.”

”In the Martial Arts World, there is a saying, ’A sect master should not be humiliated!’ If a sect master can’t be insulted, then how much less so a Heavenly Realm martial artist?”

”Those tens of thousands of Sakura Nation martial artists insulted me as a Heavenly Realm martial artist. Didn’t they deserve to be killed by me?”
