Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 2337: Chapter 2336: Looking for a Dead End

At this moment, Lin Dong looked at Jingchuan Ryuji and said in a deep voice, ”Jingchuan Ryuji, you’re nothing but a beast, how could you know the prowess of Dragon Country Chinese Medicine.”

”Oh? In that case, should we compare our medical skills?” Jingchuan Ryuji provocatively suggested.

In the martial arts aspect, he indeed was not as good as the opponent. But in medicine, he feared no one.

Lin Dong said, ”Just as I thought, but since we’re comparing medical skills, let’s make it a bit more ruthless. I wonder, do you dare to compete with me?”

”A bit more ruthless? How so?” Jingchuan Ryuji asked.

Lin Dong recalled the previous medical competition where the use of poison was involved, applying poison on each other’s bodies and then trying to cure it.

Those with superb medical skills could naturally detoxify the other’s poison. While those whose skills weren’t up to par, of course, couldn’t cure it.

This kind of medical competition could be considered quite ruthless.

The loser might very well lose their life.

If it were domestic doctors, Lin Dong wouldn’t propose such a ruthless medical competition. But these were the Yinghua Country people, so-called Divine Doctors from Yinghua Country.

He even degraded Traditional Chinese Medicine. Lin Dong would not show any mercy to such a person.

He directly proposed using this method for the medical competition.

Upon hearing this, Jingchuan Ryuji was evidently taken aback; he did not agree and said, ”Using poison is not my forte.”

”My expertise is in the development of medicines, and I have already developed hundreds of pathogens. These pathogens, once injected into the human body, can cause various diseases.”

”I would use these pathogens as poison. Do you dare to compete with me?”

Upon hearing this, Lin Dong nodded and said, ”Why wouldn’t I dare?”

”Alright, let’s not waste any more words, let’s start the competition,” Jingchuan Ryuji hurriedly said, fearing that Lin Dong might go back on his word.

He was very confident in the pathogens he developed; besides himself, no one else could cure it.

Once, he secretly spread a pathogen through mosquitoes, causing a few thousand people to contract the disease during that time.

These people couldn’t be cured in ordinary hospitals. Eventually, they went to his private hospital to be cured.

Because of that incident, Jingchuan Ryuji was hailed as the ’Savior.’

Such methods were indeed insidious, but they earned him plenty, and also built his reputation.

Those affected saw him as a savior, while in reality, he was the culprit.

At this moment, Jingchuan Ryuji said, ”The location of our medical competition is in our Yinghua Country. So I have home advantage.”

”Naturally, the home ground should have its advantages, so I’ll go first.”

Hearing this, Shi Feng beside him quickly said, ”As the sponsors, shouldn’t you be yielding?”

”That is your Dragon Country’s way of thinking. Your Dragon Country likes to follow the rule of letting guests go first. We Yinghua Country don’t do that,” Jingchuan Ryuji said.

Hearing this, Lin Dong sneered and said, ”They say you Yinghua Country people are the most polite, humble, and modest. But now it seems, that is not the case at all.”

”In my opinion, you should be the most stingy, the most petty, the most insidious, and the most hypocritical...”

”What, are you scared? Scared that if I go first, you’ll lose this medical competition directly?” Jingchuan Ryuji said with a pout.

Lin Dong jeered and replied, ”What are you exactly? Do I need to be afraid of you? You Yinghua Country people like to take advantage, so hypocritical. Still afraid of being called out?”

”Do you dare to compete or not?” Jingchuan Ryuji asked, ”Do you dare to let me go first?”

”In the presence of absolute strength, you really think taking this petty advantage can guarantee a win? So what if I let you go first,” Lin Dong scoffed.

”Haha... Hope you can still talk to me so boldly afterward. Don’t beg me on your knees for the prescription,” Jingchuan Ryuji couldn’t help but laugh hysterically after achieving his goal.

At this point, he took out a bottle and said, ”This is the pathogen I researched. Once it is injected into the body, suppurative dermatitis will cover the entire body. Without my prescription for treatment, the suppurative dermatitis will rapidly worsen, and within a day, pus will flow all over the body, leading to death!”

At these words, Toyotomi Quyin’s face slightly changed, and then she exclaimed, ”Isn’t this symptom the same as that disease some people had before?”

”They named that disease ’Corpse Pox.’ There were thousands of people who had it before. Many died because of it.”

”But later it came out that your private hospital, Jingchuan Ryuji, could treat it. So those affected went to your hospital for treatment.”

”And the treatment costs were astronomical...”

At that point, the astute Toyotomi Quyin realized and pointed at Jingchuan Ryuji, her voice trembling:

”Jingchuan Ryuji, that disease, it was you who created it, wasn’t it? You’re simply crazy, a beast. To make money, you actually developed such terrible pathogens and then poisoned the public.”

”You’re not human! You disgusting beast, your existence is a bane to humanity. You should be shattered into ten thousand pieces!”

Toyotomi Quyin kept scolding, truly disgusted by Jingchuan Ryuji’s actions.

Jingchuan Ryuji laughingly said, ”Toyotomi Quyin, don’t spread false rumors, or I’ll sue you for defamation!”

”Is this false rumor? Then explain why you have the pathogen for ’Corpse Pox’? And just now, you yourself said it was developed by you. You still want to deny it?”

”I will definitely announce this to the public, and you will be spat upon by millions. The public will see through your ugly face! You’re not a Divine Doctor of Yinghua Country; you are an executioner, a demon of the medical arts!”

If it were in the past, he might be afraid of Toyotomi Quyin saying this. But now, he was not afraid.

Because he knew he had Ken’iki Kaede backing him.

Moreover, today, Toyotomi Quyin might not even safely leave this cruise ship.

He disdainfully replied, ”Toyotomi Quyin, do you think the public will believe the words of you, an admirer of foreigners, or my words?”

Having said that, he didn’t bother to deal with her anymore and looked at Lin Dong.

He had already filled a syringe with the pathogen and then walked towards Lin Dong.

Toyotomi Quyin said, ”Mr. Ye, the pathogen for Corpse Pox is very potent, very terrifying. Before, even a Half-Step Earth Realm martial artist got infected, with no resistance.”

”So please, Mr. Ye, think thrice, don’t compete with him.”

”Haha, what? Scared? Then admit defeat! If so, I’ll let you off. But to concede, you must kneel to me, and also, kill that bodyguard!” Jingchuan Ryuji looked at Lin Dong with a confident smile.

Lin Dong sneered, ”You think I’ll concede because of you?”

”Stop the nonsense, hurry up and inject it.”

Seeing Lin Dong’s bravado, Jingchuan Ryuji shrugged and said, ”Hope you can keep that confidence afterward!”

After saying this, he injected the pathogen from the syringe into Lin Dong’s body.

Lin Dong’s body was long since immune to all diseases; any bacteria, virus, or pathogen entering his body would be destroyed by his bloodline.

This so-called ’Corpse Pox’ pathogen was no exception.

Once injected, the pathogens were annihilated by his body’s immune system.

So after a long time, Lin Dong did not fall ill.

”What’s going on? Why aren’t you affected at all?” Jingchuan Ryuji looked at Lin Dong incredulously.
