Chapter 2154: Chapter 2153: An Accident in the Wu Family

”This Blood Monk, actually, wasn’t killed by me. After realizing he was bound to die, he used some skills and self-destructed.”

”And it couldn’t be stopped at all.”

Lin Dong pondered for a moment, then explained to the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

The main reason for his explanation was that he wanted to learn more about the Blood Clan and Blood Slaves from the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song.

For example, what exactly is the ’self-destruction technique’ that he used?

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song, smiling, explained to him: ”What the Blood Monk used was not a self-destruction technique, but a Bloodthirst Curse.”

”This Bloodthirst Curse is something planted in the Blood Slave’s body by its master. As soon as the Blood Slave’s mind moves, it can burn away the blood inside its body, achieving an effect even more terrifying than self-destruction.”

”This is also why the threat of a powerful Blood Slave is said to be unbelievably terrifying.”

”A low-rank grandmaster’s Earth Realm martial artist Blood Slave, using the Bloodthirst Curse, can perish together with a middle-rank Earth Realm martial artist. And a middle-rank Earth Realm martial artist, using the Bloodthirst Curse, can perish together with a high-rank Earth Realm martial artist.”

”Benefactor, being unharmed within the range of the Bloodthirst Curse cast by an apprentice, yet not allowing its destructiveness to spread, this realm of skill, I’m afraid, has reached the upper-rank Earth Realm martial artist level?”

After hearing his explanation, Lin Dong now understood that the technique the apprentice had used just now was the Bloodthirst Curse.

It seems in the future when encountering Blood Slaves, one must be wary of this technique.

”So, the Blood Clan is indeed a scourge. If the Blood Clan makes a comeback, the whole world’s Martial Arts World will surely be in chaos.” Lin Dong was also somewhat worried.

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song nodded: ”But fortunately, the Blood Clan is now leaderless, and the Blood Emperor was suppressed more than twenty years ago.”

”Among the remaining Blood Clan, the strongest is the Blood King. And the Blood King, although his combat power is comparable to a Heavenly Realm martial artist, with the Dragon Kingdom Hidden Clan around, it obviously won’t be that easy for them to dominate the World Martial Arts Community either.”

”Even if they dare to appear, they will be encircled and killed by the Heavenly Realm martial artists of the Dragon Kingdom Hidden Clan.”

”However, in my humble opinion, the hardest thing to guard against isn’t the Blood Clan. It’s the human heart of the martial artists. The Blood Clan is very adept at breaking through the human heart of martial artists. Once someone chooses to willingly degenerate and become a Blood Slave, it becomes the biggest loophole for the Human Martial Artist Alliance.”

”A Blood Slave traitor could very well lead to the destruction of a powerful force.”

”In a frontal confrontation with the Blood Clan, with the strength of the Dragon Kingdom Hidden Clan, there is no fear at all. The fear is of traitors, which are hard to guard against.”

Twenty years ago, during the Blood Slave chaos in the Western Infinitesimal Buddha Path, although he was still young at the time, he knew a lot of inside information and also personally witnessed the ruthless battle scenes of the past.

Even a ninth-level grandmaster monk from the Western Infinitesimal Buddha Path willingly fell and became a Blood Slave.

Monks generally have an incredibly strong mind, but they were actually influenced by the Blood Clan to betray, engaging their inner evil, and thus fell into darkness.

This made Buddha Demon Heavenly Song profoundly aware of the terrifying nature of the Blood Clan.

Lin Dong, hearing all this, fell silent.

He strongly agreed with the Buddha Demon Heavenly Song’s view that in this world, the hardest thing to defend against has always been the human heart.

Just as Lin Dong’s ’fake death’ this time, many people who once pledged allegiance to him had chosen to betray.

If these people were to face the Blood Clan, under the fetters and temptations of the Blood Clan, they would very likely fall into darkness and become Blood Slaves.

And there are far too many such people!

Even in the Western Regions Buddhism, let alone other powerful forces?

”Ah... kill me, kill me.” At this moment, a voice rang out.

That voice was exactly Yevgeny Mele’s voice.

At this moment, he was getting tormented by Ye Wuyou.

Ye Wuyou was cutting his flesh slice by slice, letting the blood in his body drain drop by drop.

Such pain, if it were the Yevgeny Mele who could still use inner Qi, he might endure it.

But at this moment, Yevgeny Mele couldn’t use inner Qi at all. Because earlier, Lin Dong destroyed his Dantian and meridians, making him unable to operate his inner Qi.

Seeing this scene before him, Buddha Demon Heavenly Song sighed and said, ”Amitabha, hatred makes one lose sight.”

Lin Dong retorted, ”So, does the Holy Monk think he shouldn’t seek revenge?”

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song shook his head: ”The Young Monk is not qualified to judge whether he should or shouldn’t seek revenge. The Young Monk is merely lamenting how hatred makes one lose sight.”

”The Young Monk once, too, fell into a demonic barrier. There was a time when I especially wanted to kill someone.”

Lin Dong also asked, ”So, did the Holy Monk kill that person?”

”No,” Buddha Demon Heavenly Song shook his head, ”He was too powerful, I couldn’t kill him.”

”If you could kill him, then, would you do it?” Lin Dong asked again.

”Of course I would,” Buddha Demon Heavenly Song replied.

”Doesn’t Buddhism say that repaying grievances with grievances leads to endless repercussions? And that the Buddha is merciful, sparing others when possible.” Lin Dong smiled and asked.

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song shook his head and responded, ”The Young Monk practices the Buddha within my own heart, not the Buddhas mentioned by others.”

”Some people can be enlightened in the human world, some can be enlightened only in hell.”

”I thought you would stop him from seeking revenge,” Lin Dong said.

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song shook his head, saying: ”His father was killed, half of the people in the clan were exterminated. If he doesn’t let out this anger, it will surely form a Heart Devil in the future.”

Buddha Demon Heavenly Song stood aside and turned a blind eye to everything Ye Wuyou was doing.

He didn’t meddle in other people’s affairs like other Buddhist monks.

At this moment, Nangong Hong came over, with an expression of some urgency on his face.

”I just received a phone call.” He said to Lin Dong.

Lin Dong asked, ”What phone call?”

”A call from Wu Yue, something has happened to General Wu’s family,” Nangong Hong quickly said.

Lin Dong’s expression changed slightly, then he went over to Ye Wuyou and spoke to him.

”Cheer up, the blood of the Ye Family will not flow in vain.”

”I will make the Lin Family from the Capital City pay the appropriate price, and that day will come soon.”

”In the next few days, take care of the Ye Family’s aftermath. In a few days, go to the Capital City with me, let them pay their debts with blood.”

After saying this, Lin Dong hastily headed for the Wu Family.

And after hearing Lin Dong’s words, Ye Wuyou became even more suspicious of Lin Dong’s identity.

”Could it be, is he really the Young Master? Is the Young Master not dead? Is he still alive?” Ye Wuyou’s feelings were incredibly complex at this moment.

On one hand, there was the grief and hatred of family destruction.

On the other hand, there was the shock of knowing that Lin Dong might not be dead.

But now, it was clearly not the time to question Lin Dong’s identity.

He believed that when Lin Dong wanted to tell him, he would definitely let him know.

At this moment, Lin Dong, although he very much wanted to stay at the Ye Family to handle Ye Xiong’s posthumous affairs.

However, upon hearing that Wu Ming was in trouble, he must rush over immediately.

”I hope I can make it in time.”
