Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1798: Chapter 1797: They Are the Ones Going to Hell

Lin Dong and his three companions hurried toward their destination.

Meanwhile, by a large river outside Bai Xiang City, near a suburban forest, an abandoned ship was docked silently.

This ship could no longer navigate; instead, it was now occupied by members of the Brahman group.

It served as one of their bases, specifically used to imprison those they had captured.

At this moment, over a hundred women were detained on this ship.

Among them were Rima’s mother and older sister.

Of course, they had been separated and held in different areas.

The imprisoned women were divided into two sections.

One section housed young women—all virgins. This group accounted for roughly seventy percent.

The other section contained older women—married or otherwise. This group was significantly smaller.

Clearly, the two groups were being held for different purposes.

Guarding them were martial artists.

Among the martial artists, there were dozens of Huang-Level fighters, all armed with guns.

There were also six Martial Arts Masters.

Additionally, one Grandmaster-level martial artist oversaw everything.

This Grandmaster was a Hall Master of the Brahman group—the leader of their Bai Xiang City base.

”Report, Master. This month we’ve captured eighty-eight virgins. We’re still twelve short of our target of 100,”

”As for older women, we’ve already captured twenty-two, meeting this month’s quota.”

At this moment, one member of the Brahman group reported to the Grandmaster martial artist overseeing the base.

That Hall Master sneered coldly, ”The month’s almost over, yet you’re still twelve virgins short. How incompetent can you be?”

The subordinates lowered their heads in shame, one of them attempting to explain, ”Master, societal morals are declining these days—it’s too hard to find virgins.”

”Many start dating in their teens; they’re no longer virgins but married women already.”

Hearing this, the Hall Master snorted derisively, ”Stop making excuses! If you can’t find them here, go look in Dragon Country. Trick them there!”

Another subordinate spoke up, ”Hall Master, we’ve already tried such methods. Just a few days ago, I nearly managed to fool a Dragon Country girl. But... she managed to escape.”

This individual was one of the men who had previously targeted An Lan.

Upon hearing this, the Hall Master cursed him, ”You idiot! How could you let someone you’d already tricked escape?”

The subordinate stammered in reply, ”I’ll catch her again for sure. She must still be in Bai Xiang City; there’s no way she’s gotten far. She couldn’t flee back to Dragon Country since I still have her ID and other belongings.”

The Hall Master, uninterested in hearing more excuses, coldly addressed everyone, ”It’s the end of the month, and we’re still twelve virgins short of the 100 required for this month’s ’tribute.’ I don’t care where or how you find them—just make sure you do!”

”If the higher-ups blame me for not meeting the quota, I’ll take it out on all of you.”

Terrified, the subordinates all replied hastily, ”Yes, Master! We’ll complete the task!”

Just then, a commotion erupted outside.

Soon, someone rushed in to report urgently, ”Master, there’s been trouble with the ’tribute.’”

”What trouble?” the Hall Master asked impatiently.

”They’ve staged a rebellion; a group of them is on a hunger strike,” he reported.

”What? Hunger strike? How dare they! Who gave them permission to do this?” The Hall Master flew into a rage.

Their operation required providing the prescribed quota of ’tribute’—these captured women—each month.

The women were categorized into virgins and older women.

In charge of Bai Xiang City, the Hall Master had to deliver 100 virgins and 20 older women each month.

And the women had to be alive.

Failing to meet the quota meant facing severe consequences!

As for the exact purpose of these ’tribute’ women, even the Hall Master didn’t fully know.

But completing the task was non-negotiable.

If the numbers were too short, punishment would be inevitable.

If no women were delivered at all, the consequences would be unthinkably harsh.

So upon hearing that the imprisoned women had initiated a hunger strike, his fury erupted.

Enraged, he demanded of his subordinate, ”Which group is it—the virgins or the older women?”

”Both!” the subordinate replied.

This response only deepened the Hall Master’s anger.

”Let’s go.”

Leading his men, he marched to the area between the two prison sections. Sure enough, he saw that none of the prisoners were eating.

All the food brought to them had been set aside untouched.

”A hunger strike? Huh... who’s behind this?”

The Hall Master was experienced in handling such situations.

He knew there was likely someone leading the rebellion—a ringleader.

Neutralizing that person would quell the unrest.

But when he asked, no one responded.

It was clear that the prisoners were united and refused to betray the ringleader.

”Alright, so you’re all tough, huh? Won’t say a word? Fine, I have ways to make you talk!”

Suddenly, he ordered, ”Take one of the women from the older group outside. I’ll teach her a Dragon Country saying: ’Covered in Sweat!’”

At this, his subordinates erupted in raucous laughter.

Without hesitation, they grabbed one of the older women from the older section and dragged her outside.

The woman’s face turned pallid as she screamed desperately, ”Let go of me! Let go!”

”Will you talk or not? If you don’t, I’ll make you feel what it means to experience something worse than death!” the Hall Master sneered at her.

The woman, terrified and trembling, broke down. She quickly replied in panic, ”I’ll talk, I’ll talk.”

Pointing to the younger section, she identified a short-haired woman as the leader.

The woman was striking, exuding a commanding presence despite being only around twenty-four or twenty-five.

Even as she was identified as the instigator, she remained composed and met the Hall Master’s gaze directly.

The Hall Master turned his gaze to her and smirked, ”Well, aren’t you something? Quite the heroic air about you. Looks like you’ve had some training.”

”Who are you?”

The short-haired woman replied coldly, ”I am a female warrior of Dragon Country’s War Department. You’ve captured many Dragon Country women here—release them!”

The Hall Master froze momentarily, then sneered, ”You expect me to release them just because you say so? Who do you think you are?”

”I am nothing. But behind me stands Dragon Country’s War Department and Martial Arts World. Do you not fear accountability for detaining Dragon Country women like this?”

”Hahaha... The mountain is high and the emperor far away. Do you truly believe Dragon Country’s War Department or Martial Arts World can control what happens here in Southborne?”

”Let me be clear: Dragon Country has sent people like you undercover before, hoping to rescue their hostages. Do you know what became of them?”

”Hah—they ended up experiencing fates worse than death, exploited and tortured until the end...”

”And you, you’ll follow in their footsteps soon enough.”

The short-haired woman’s face turned ashen, her expression resolute. With the courage of someone prepared for death, she defiantly declared:

”I will stand alongside the Dragon Country women you’ve murdered in hell and witness your downfall! The Dragon Country War Department and Martial Arts World will bring justice upon you!”

”You won’t escape judgment!”

She had resolved to end her life rather than fall into the hands of the Brahman men—a fate worse than death.

However, at that very moment, a voice rang out:

”Why wait until hell to witness their judgment?”

”The ones bound for hell are them, not you!”
