Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1605: Chapter 1604 Oda Shouki

Lin Dong already had a rough plan.

He intended to disguise himself as someone from the Qingye Clan and then infiltrate the group to find Qingye Piaoxue. As long as he found Qingye Piaoxue, he was confident that he could take her away.

As for the disguise, Lin Dong had advanced techniques for changing his appearance, allowing him to resemble any person.

Moreover, he had learned ’Dragon Breath,’ which could conceal his cultivation level to any degree he desired.

Therefore, this plan was entirely feasible.

Of course, this disguise wasn’t just any disguise, but involved selecting a specific target.

At the moment, he bid farewell to Li Zhaixing, activated ’Dragon Breath’ and ’Long Ying’ techniques, hiding his aura, and merged his body into the darkness.

He headed in the direction where the Qingye Clan was located.

The Qingye Clan’s residence was beside the Capital Imperial Palace in Yinghua Country, a restricted area that ordinary people could not approach.

A red wall isolated it from the outer world, guarded even more strictly than the Forbidden City of Ancient Capital in the Dragon Country.

There were various martial artists guarding in plain sight, countless dark sentinels hidden in the shadows.

Forcing one’s way in would be difficult for even the king of assassins in an entire nation.

As for sneaking in unnoticed by the Qingye Clan, that was a pipe’s dream. Even with Lin Dong’s current strength, it was impossible.

This is why Lin Dong thought of using disguise techniques to infiltrate.

Other methods were simply not viable.

Lin Dong observed from a distance in the dark, watching the comings and goings of the Qingye Clan’s members.

After observing for an entire night, he finally found someone who was alone.

It was a woman, a female warrior, whose strength was approximately that of an intermediate ninja of Yinghua Country, akin to a Martial Arts Master of the Dragon Country.

She walked out of the Qingye Clan alone, for reasons unknown.

However, these details were irrelevant to Lin Dong.

He discreetly and silently followed her.

With her level of strength, she naturally did not notice him.

Soon, he followed this woman to a remote townhouse.

This type of townhouse, a traditional Kyoto residence in Yinghua Country, held a status in architecture similar to the courtyard houses in Dragon Country, with a profound history.

At the moment, she arrived at the townhouse and entered it.

Lin Dong followed quietly as well.

Then, Lin Dong witnessed a scene that infuriated him.

He saw that after the woman entered the townhouse, she went to the basement, where, surprisingly, some people from Dragon Country were imprisoned.

There were about seven or eight of them, some low-rank martial artists, others ordinary people.

Only two were still alive. The rest seemed to have been tortured to death.

Even the two survivors had their hands and feet cut off.

”Heh heh, it’s time for today’s ’game’,” said the woman viciously, and then she was about to start torturing the two people.

But at this moment, a terrifying killing intent enveloped her.

A sense of crisis surged inside her heart, and she turned her head and shouted loudly, ”Who’s there?”

Lin Dong’s figure slowly emerged from the darkness, appearing behind her, and then he spoke coldly:

”Why are you capturing these people from Dragon Country and torturing them?”

The woman from the Qingye Clan didn’t answer Lin Dong but continued, ”Who are you, really? How dare you follow me?”

”Moreover, listening to your tone, it seems you are a person from Dragon Country. You’re really seeking your own death!”

”I was just about to kill these two ’piglets’ tonight and then capture some new ’piglets.’ Unexpectedly, you’ve delivered yourself to my doorstep.”

The killing intent in Lin Dong became even denser. This woman, for some reason, appeared to harbor great hatred for people from Dragon Country.

Furthermore, judging by her manner, she seemed to frequently capture people from Dragon Country and torture them like ’piglets.’

Initially, Lin Dong only intended to knock her out and replace her body to disguise himself and infiltrate the Qingye Clan.

But now it seemed that not killing her would be an affront to justice.

At the moment, Lin Dong exuded the aura of an Earth Realm Martial Artist, a terrifying presence that transformed into a pressure bearing down on her shoulders.

”Kneel!” Lin Dong bellowed, and his terrifying force, like Mount Tai crashing down, bore down on the woman.

With an ’Ah,’ she cried out as her knees shattered and she dropped straight down to the ground.

”You... you’re actually an Earth Realm Martial Artist. Oh heavens, you’re actually an Earth Realm Martial Artist. Who on earth are you? Such a strong person, why are you following me, targeting me?” She was incredibly shocked.

An Earth Realm Martial Artist, to her, was High Above, like the Sky. She could never have imagined that the person in front of her was an Earth Realm Martial Artist.

She couldn’t have imagined that she would provoke such an existence.

After making her kneel, Lin Dong said in a stern voice: ”I’ll ask you this, what is your identity within the Qingye Clan? What is your name? And why are you capturing these people from Dragon Country and torturing them?”

The woman kneeling on the ground, shivering, answered obediently under the pressure of Lin Dong, the Earth Realm Martial Artist:

”My name is Mu Naiju, I am a maiden serving Lady Oda Shouki of the Qingye Clan.”

Oda Shouki was Oda Yukihime’s sister and Qingye Piaoxue’s maternal aunt. Although she belonged to the Oda Clan, she always lived with the Qingye Clan.

She also held another identity, that of the ’Martial Saintess’ of Yinghua Country. Possessing the ’Saintess constitution,’ she had a special physique seen only once in a thousand years.

This special physique was peculiar; born with the bloodline of the foremost among the Four Great Demon Kings of ancient times in Yinghua Country, the ’Nine-Tailed Fox.’ It was rumored that once the constitution was unsealed, the Nine-Tailed Fox bloodline could be awakened.

Thus, wielding the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox, her combat prowess could rival that of a true ancient Demon King.

Once the ’Nine-Tailed Fox’ bloodline was fully awakened, even high experts like Qingye Sanzang wouldn’t be her match.

However, for many years, her ’Nine-Tailed Fox’ bloodline remained sealed, and she was always ’protected’ by Qingye Sanzang, the number one Martial Arts figure in Yinghua Country.

Of course, saying ’protection,’ there was no difference from house arrest. In any case, it limited her freedom because her constitution was too significant, and neither Qingye Sanzang nor Oda Yukihime felt at ease about her. They feared she might be taken away by someone and become a great hidden danger.

And Qingye Sanzang had his own ulterior motives.

He thought that if there was a way to unseal Oda Shouki’s ’Nine-Tailed Fox’ bloodline in the future, then controlling her would allow their Qingye Clan to go further.

He also understood from ancient books the terrifying potential of the ’Nine-Tailed Fox’ bloodline; if it were truly unsealed, her future heights in martial arts would be unimaginable.

Even a Heavenly Realm Martial Artist might be possible.

Of course, even Qingye Sanzang did not know the method to unseal her ’Nine-Tailed Fox’ bloodline.

This was also why Oda Shouki, who was merely his wife’s sister, always stayed with the Qingye Clan.

It wasn’t that she wanted to stay.

But that she had no choice but to stay.

And this person in front of him, called Mu Naiju, was specifically tasked with looking after Oda Shouki.

Having learned her identity, Lin Dong asked coldly once more: ”I’ll ask you again, why are you capturing these people from Dragon Country and torturing them?”

”What grievances do they have with you?”
