Chapter 782: Chapter 782: What do you think you are?

Lin Dong had no idea what the women in the hotel were thinking.

At the moment, his attention was focused entirely on Yan Yu.

He had no clue why Yan Yu was looking for him.

”I don’t think I know you, do I?” Lin Dong said to Yan Yu, who was reaching out his hand for a handshake.

”Haha, Mr. Lin, there are too many eyes here, let’s step aside and talk,” Yan Yu said, not minding that Lin Dong had not shaken his hand, smiling gentlemanly.

Lin Dong nodded his agreement.

Yan Yu immediately arranged for a private meeting room with the hotel and then led Lin Dong into the meeting room.

After entering and closing the door, Yan Yu finally spoke, ”Master Lin, you just said we don’t know each other. Indeed, you might not know me, but the name Master Lin is now quite famous. How could I, Yan Yu, not know of Master Lin?”

Facing his ’flattery,’ Lin Dong asked indifferently:

”If you have something to say, just get to the point. There’s no need to beat around the bush.”

”Haha... Master Lin, you’re indeed straightforward. Since that’s the case, then let me make clear the purpose of my visit.”

”I’ve come to you this time to propose a cooperation.”

”Cooperation?” Lin Dong was puzzled, ”What kind of cooperation are you referring to?”

When it came to the heart of the matter, even Yan Yu was slightly excited.

He hastened to say, ”Regarding the matter of the Resuscitating Pill, I had the good fortune to witness an old man on the verge of death who, after taking a Resuscitating Pill, had his life extended. Moreover, I also managed to obtain one from a friend, and after taking it, I felt a surge of vitality and my martial arts strength greatly increased.”

”This Dan medicine is simply miraculous, effective not only for common people but also tremendously beneficial for martial artists...”

Lin Dong frowned and asked, ”What next?”

”Master Lin, I know you’re selling these Resuscitating Pills for two billion apiece. You’ve left their sales to Shen Yun in Jianghai and Nangong Hong of the Black Dragon Society. This sales model, frankly speaking, is a waste of treasures. And neither Shen Yun nor that Nangong Hong are capable of being the sales channels for such treasures,” said Yan Yu.

”Master Lin, my purpose for coming here is to become the exclusive distributor of the Resuscitating Pill. Let’s work together and sell the Resuscitating Pill to the whole world!”

”We can use hunger marketing, stockpiling the Resuscitating Pills, and auction off fifty pills each time. I believe that under our Yan family’s marketing, each pill can easily fetch far more than two billion!”

”The only thing you need to do is refine the Resuscitating Pill. All the follow-up work will be handled by our Yan family. I guarantee that our Resuscitating Pills will dominate the medical market.”

”With just this one Dan medicine, we can surpass the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Even Pfizer would have to step aside.”

”By the way, Master Lin, if I may be so bold to ask, besides refining Resuscitating Pills, do you know how to refine other Dan medicines? ”

Lin Dong, listening to his excited rhetoric, maintained an expressionless face.

He nodded indifferently, ”If I have the ancient alchemist techniques, of course I can refine other Dan medicines.”

”Really? That’s great, then we can continue this kind of business partnership indefinitely. You’re responsible for the alchemy and the technology. As for everything else — sales, manpower, funding channels, etc. — our Yan family will handle it!”

”When the time comes, we’ll split the accounts one to nine. How about that?”

At first, Lin Dong thought Yan Yu meant a one to nine split in Lin Dong’s favor.

But that was not the case, as Yan Yu added a sentence.

”Our Yan family takes nine, you take one!”

Lin Dong fell silent at once.

Seeing that Lin Dong did not reply, Yan Yu laughingly said, ”What’s wrong, Master Lin, are you not satisfied with the profit ratio?”

”Master Lin, you must understand that you are only responsible for the alchemy, just providing a technology. Our Yan family, however, is responsible for so much more.”

”We need to establish a company, handle marketing, various promotions, manage auctions, deal with so many things, so this profit split is completely reasonable.”

”Of course, if you really feel it’s too low, we can still negotiate. However, the most we can concede is one additional point to you, making it an eight to two split!”

Yan Yu said this with great confidence,

He believed Lin Dong would certainly agree, as they were the Yan Family. If Master Lin knew about their Yan Family, he would understand that their fame isn’t limited to the Qilin War God.

Besides, their Yan family is also known for their medical company. They control several giant pharmaceutical companies behind the scenes. Many of the explosive Chinese medicines and health care products on the market are manipulated by their Yan family. Even the concept of Longevity Medicine was concocted by their Yan family.

But just when Yan Yu was full of confidence, Lin Dong looked at him and said one word, coldly.

”Roll!”

Yan Yu, previously full of pride, stiffened at the unexpected blunt word from Lin Dong.

However, his cultivation in maintaining composure was quite formidable. Although he was angry inside, his face still wore a smile.

He persisted, ”Master Lin, you might not know about our Yan family’s position in the medical field of Dragon Country... Do you know who sells the best cold medicine right now? It’s ours, the Yan family’s. Do you know the best-selling health care meds in Dragon Country belong to whom? Still our Yan family. Do you know...”

He wanted to say more, but Lin Dong broke him off directly.

”I don’t need to know all that,” Lin Dong said, ”All I need to know is that you’re making empty promises!”

”An eight to two split, or even nine to one? You really dare to ask for that.”

”Why should I sell my Resuscitating Pills through you? Why should I concede eight or even nine parts to you?”

”Master Lin, I am helping you sell, don’t you understand that selling is the most important part of a product? The technology is secondary...”

”Who do you think you are? Do I need your help to sell?”

Lin Dong didn’t wait for him to finish speaking and once again bluntly spat out these words.

With that, Yan Yu’s face grew even uglier.
