The Great Thief

These four monsters were still very powerful and would explode before they died. When they exploded, they dealt a lot of damage to those in range. Normal players could lose up to 2500 HP instantly.

Therefore, Lu Li would make sure that those who were about to explode would be pulled away.

After these four monsters were killed, they began to deal with the Boss.

This process was simple in theory, but during the process, they were wiped a few times. Sometimes it was the explosion that would kill someone and other times it was an issue with the Warlock’s banish that would get them killed.

Lu Li finally had no choice but to swap in two more healers – a Healer Druid and a Healer Shaman.

In addition to the Healers watching the Main Tank’s HP, each of the four Warriors or Paladins assigned to a minion was also assigned a healer. Lu Li also issued a healer to watch over the four Warlocks, and another one to watch over the group as a whole.

However, this reduced their damage output by a lot.

The players were not machines. As the battle dragged on, everyone became more tired and more likely to make mistakes, but there was no other way to do this. If they didn’t have enough damage in a high-level Instance Dungeon, they would slowly be ground down. On the other hand, if they didn’t have enough healing, they would just get wiped.

After the four monsters had been dealt with, they still had to face Garr. As for the remaining four monsters, they had to be continually Banished by the Warlocks. There could be no mistakes, and the four Warlocks couldn’t die.

After dealing the Garr, the four remaining monsters still had to be killed. The monsters wouldn’t vanish just because of Garr’s death, so Ruling Sword could still get wiped after beating the Boss.

Fortunately, there was no chance for the Boss to spawn again, so it was only the four monsters that remained.

After all the monsters had been dealt with, it was time to distribute the spoils.

This time, some players received Skill Points. After all, it was 40-men Instance Dungeon. Unfortunately, Lu Li didn’t receive any as his unlucky streak continued.

If you thought that the previous three Boss didn’t drop any spectacular, this Boss had the chance of dropping a T1 set item and a Ring.

Many players would pray before fighting Garr.

“Garr, please give us the face! We won’t bother you anymore!”

The anticipation that was felt here was quite ordinary.

The others had no way of knowing, but as someone who had experienced rebirth, Lu Li was greatly anticipating receiving the right face.

“+15% Attack Speed Gem – seems to be pretty valuable,” Remnant Dream announced, judging the value of this gem quite accurately. Players that needed an attack speed buff immediately started paying attention.

Most equipment had a slot, and the better equipment would have at least two slots. If you filled them with +15% Attack Speed gems, you could gain a 30% Attack Speed increase. The only problem was that these attack speed gems didn’t drop very often.

“Fifty points,” Bearded Zaza immediately declared.

Even the T1 set item that Hachi Chan had previously taken wasn’t worth 50 points. The fact that he was bidding so much on the first offer meant that he really wanted the item.

The others saw that he made such a high bid and were embarrassed to continued bidding.

After all, this was a First Clear group and they were all the top players of each guild. Everyone got along with one another and they were somewhat friends, so they couldn’t directly fight each other on these things. Since Bearded Zaza expressed such a strong interest, it was better to just let him have it.

There was another gem that increased damage dealt and was greatly useful to professions that dealt physical damage. This gem was taken away for only 10 points.

The rest of the Strengthening Stones were given to Lu Li, and would not be allocated until the end of the Instance Dungeon. If players wanted some specifically, they could buy some with their guild points. The price here was a little more expensive than it was on the market, but it was more convenient and the points would be distributed evenly.

In fact, guild points had a certain value and there were some customary rules around them in the game.

Then, there were Rare Materials, Skill Books, Gold equipment and Dark Gold equipment…

Finally, the long awaited Epic equipment was finally dropped. It was the Fire Ruined Grimoire, an off-hand item which was available to all magic professions. However, it was most suitable for Warlocks and Fire Mages. Although there weren’t any Fire Mages, there were four Warlocks. Lu Li asked them to reveal the attributes of their current weapons. Sesame Rice Ball was eliminated because his current off-hand item was better, along with Kitty Likes Meat, who usually wielded a dual-handed Staff anyway. As such, the other two Warlocks were left to fight for it.

The second item was a T1 set headgear, which was available to Paladins.

The competition for this item was fierce, but Wandering eventually won. He was the Off-Tank,

and no one wanted to fight too hard for it. Even if they tried, they were unlikely to beat him.

Could it be that this was all that was dropped?

Lu Li almost stopped breathing. He had hoped that Garr would drop the right face. Even if he himself could get those items, everyone would benefit from them.

In his previous life, he didn’t do so well. All the money he earned, he spent on improving his sister’s health. He rarely had the opportunity to buy equipment to improve his own strength. When he saw Thunderfury, all he could do was to drool over it. He had once read Thunderfury’s attributes, so he knew how precious it was, but all the players equipped with Thunder Fury usually had flashy personalities. They would stroll around the city with them for everyone to see.

Garr had an item called ‘Bindings of the Windseeker’, which came with a description that read,

“The right half of Thunderaan’s eternal prison”.

In the backpack, its icon looked like a face, which was why it was called the ‘right face’ by the players.

This item was a necessary component to create Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.

Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker, also known as ‘Thunderfury’, was Dawn’s most famous legendary weapon and it was the Wind Prince Thunderaan’s sword.

Prince Thunderaan was the son of Al’akir the Windlord, Lord of the Wind Elementals and Master of Thunder Fury. He was born in a typhoon and had a wind-like appearance, which was how he got his name.

In the ancient times, when the Titans visited Azeroth, the gods were worried about the evil hobbies of the ancient gods, so they sent troops to fight the elemental creatures and their evil masters. The army of the ancient gods was led by the strongest elemental leaders – Ragnaros the Firelord, Therazane the Stonemother, Al’akir the Windlord and Neptulon the Tidehunter – while the Titans were led by Sargeras (before the fall) in a historic battle for dominance.

The relationship between the elementals and the ancient gods was one of common interest. As a reward for summoning them into the physical world, the elementals were willing to fight against the Titans to transform the world, but the elements were not united. The wind and water elementals formed an alliance to fight the fire elementals.

Two years before the war for dominance, Prince Thunderaan defeated Ragnaros Firelord.

Sixteen years into the war for dominance, Prince Thunderaan defended Sargeras’ attempt to invade the realm of the wind and was pushed out.

The year after this, in a confrontation between Prince Thunderaan and Sargeras, Prince Thunderaan began to lose his sight and started to slow down.

Prince Thunderaan loved the leader of the wind’s daughter, Azshir, but Prince Thunderaan knew that he would go blind soon. He hoped that Azshir would leave this war with him, but Thuunderaan knew that he couldn’t give her what she wanted. He never got to reveal his love to her, which he regretted

After 20 years in the battle for dominance, Thunderaan became blind. At the same time, Neptulon the Tidehunder was defeated by Sargeras and was crucified on today’s Black Sea Coast.

After 33 years in the battle for dominance, Sargeras fell and was judged by the Gods, but this was not the end of the battle for dominance. A new war began as Ragnaros the Firelord attacked the wind realm. The Fire Element’s Garr and Geddon were designed to bind Prince Thunderaan, who was finally defeated by Ragnaros. However, because Thunderaan was too strong, Ragnaros accepted Garr and Geddon’s advice to seal the Prince’s soul into two items held by Garr and Geddon.

Prince Thunderaan never saw the light of day, nor did he see Azshir ever again, and no longer had a chance to express his love.

After 36 years in the battle for dominance, the wind realm was completely destroyed and the wind elementals fled.

After 60 years in the battle for dominance, the Titans once again came into this world and sealed away all the elementals that resisted them. This ended the battle of dominance once and for all.

Those who could save the prince, would pass the test and receive the Prince’s blessing.

Thunderaan’s ‘Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker’ had a line of text that read, “Hero, may you have a love that you don’t regret.”

Lu Li once had an item from Stellar Union that said a similar thing. In some players’ eyes, this was a blessing to find love.

Thunderfury was an item that would bring an entire guild glory. If there was a Warrior in a guild carrying Thunderfury, the whole guild would be proud of them.

Garr, please give us the face!
