Ancient Dragon Elephant Technique

”Master! Your disciple has been completely screwed over by you, isn’t it time to finally tell me what specific harm the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill does to the body?”.

Lin Feng said.

Master Turtle replied, ”Don’t look so dejected, actually, the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill isn’t as frightening as you think! To be honest, this Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill is a heaven-defying cultivation technique!”.

Lin Feng said, ”Master! I don’t want to know how heaven-defying the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill is, I just want to know what kind of harm it will cause me”.

Master Turtle said, ”The harm, well, it’s not particularly severe”.

”Really?”. Lin Feng’s eyes suddenly brightened.

Master Turtle nodded and said, ”Of course it’s true, how could a master deceive his smart disciple?”.

Upon hearing Master Turtle’s words, Lin Feng nearly burst into tears.

From the very beginning, you’ve been deceiving me, right?

This old guy even has the gall to claim he wouldn’t deceive his disciple.

Perhaps all those previous lies were selectively forgotten by this old geezer?

Lin Feng asked, ”So it won’t cause too serious harm, but there’s still some damage, right? Master, please tell me, what harm does the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill cause?”.

Master Turtle said, ”About the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill... if you can’t successfully cultivate it, the harm is simply death!”.

Lin Feng’s mouth twitched fiercely.

It’s like taking a one million-point critical hit!

He said with a tearless face, ”Master, didn’t you say the harm caused by the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill isn’t serious?”.

”Indeed it’s not serious, the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill won’t hurt your body, so your body won’t suffer any damage, only that the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill will take your life”. Master Turtle said matter-of-factly.

”Heavens! Earth! This stingy master! Absolutely shameless, deceiving and screwing his disciple! How unlucky am I to be taken in as a disciple by this old geezer!”.

Lin Feng lamented in his heart.

At this point, he knew that no matter how much he resented and regretted, it was all a fait accompli.

He had no power to change what had already happened.

He could only face the situation head-on.

And search for a solution.

He looked at Master Turtle and said, ”Master, I won’t end up like the senior brothers and die, right?”.

Master Turtle patted Lin Feng’s shoulder and said, ”Your senior brothers had much higher cultivation than you when they were cultivating the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill, but they all fell eventually, so your chances of dying are pretty high too”.

”Damn!”.

Lin Feng now wished he could punch his unscrupulous master into paralysis.

But he’s no match for this old guy, so he’ll have to endure for now.

Master Turtle continued, ”Of course, nothing is absolute! Anything could happen! Your talent is quite impressive, much better than your senior brothers’, so your chance of survival might be higher”.

Lin Feng said irritably, ”Does the harm of the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill mean it damages the Dantian?”.

”It’s not that simple”, Master Turtle grinned and said, ”The Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill has five levels, you’ve just barely managed to circulate it! There’s a long road ahead to cultivate to the first level. The Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill is powerful, but it has its flaws. For instance, starting from the first Great Circulation Cycle, if within three years, you can’t break through to the first level, the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill will automatically operate, causing reversed flow in the meridians and mana, leading to the cultivator self-destructing!”.

Lin Feng said with a bitter smile, ”So within three years, I must strive to cultivate the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill to the First Level?”.

Master Turtle nodded and said, ”Exactly! That’s right!”.

”After cultivating to the First Level, I won’t die, right?”. Lin Feng asked.

Master Turtle shook his head and said, ”Certainly not!”.

”After cultivating to the first level, you’ll have ten years to cultivate the second level of the cultivation technique. If you haven’t reached the second level within ten years, you’ll still die”.

”After cultivating to the second level, you’ll have twenty years to cultivate the third level of the cultivation technique. If you can’t cultivate to the third level within twenty years, you’ll still die”.

”After cultivating to the third level, you’ll have thirty years to cultivate the fourth level of the cultivation technique. If you can’t cultivate to the fourth level within thirty years, you’ll still die”.

”After cultivating to the fourth level, you’ll have forty years to cultivate the fifth level of the cultivation technique. If you can’t cultivate to the fifth level within forty years, you’ll face the same deadly fate”.

...

Lin Feng said helplessly, ”Cultivators who enter seclusion can often spend thousands, even tens of thousands of years or more. Such a heaven-defying cultivation technique like the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill is difficult as climbing to the heavens, and yet it must be perfected within a hundred years - isn’t that too unreasonable?”.

Master Turtle laughed and said, ”If it were easy to cultivate! Then your senior brothers wouldn’t have died!”.

Lin Feng said with a bitter smile, ”After perfecting the fifth level, would one still die?”.

Master Turtle said, ”Smart disciple, don’t be so disheartened, once you perfect the fifth level, you won’t die”.

After hearing Master Turtle’s words, Lin Feng felt a bit relieved.

He continued to ask, ”Then! Perfecting the fifth level! Can it really increase combat power by thirty-three times?”.

Master Turtle nodded and said, ”It’s true!”.

”Finally, a true word”. Lin Feng said wistfully.

”However, there’s a price to pay for exerting thirty-three times combat power”. Master Turtle said.

To wield such a heaven-defying cultivation technique naturally requires a cost, Lin Feng wasn’t surprised about this.

He asked, ”What kind of price?”.

Master Turtle said with a smile, ”Once exerted, although combat power increases thirty-three times, there are conditions. The first condition, if the life span is less than ten million years, exerting the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill will lead to immediate death!”.

Lin Feng let out a sigh of relief and said, ”Luckily, I currently have close to twenty million years of life span”.

Master Turtle continued, ”After exerting, no matter how much life span you have, whether twenty million years or thirty million years, once the Eight-Nine Mysterious Skill’s operation ends, you’ll only have the final ten years of life span left!”.

Upon hearing Master Turtle’s follow-up sentence, Lin Feng almost fell flat on the ground.

This cultivation technique!

It’s a total scam!

It’s completely a suicidal cultivation technique!

And after successfully cultivating it.

You cannot let it operate.

Otherwise, with only ten years of life span left, and unable to break through to a new realm within ten years, certain death awaits.

But breaking through the God Realm isn’t that easy?

So once you exert thirty-three times combat power, it practically signifies the end of your life.

”Smart disciple, don’t be so agitated”. Master Turtle said with a smile.

Lin Feng said with a tearful face, ”How can I not be agitated? This cultivation technique is a complete suicide mission! Master, you could be the death of me”.

Master Turtle said, ”How could a master harm you, this technique is almost complete, it might not have such side effects after perfecting it”.

”When will it be completed?”. Lin Feng asked.

”I’ve been researching it for seven million years! But still can’t perfect the technique”. Master Turtle sighed.

Lin Feng silently retreated to his palace, as he now wished not to see Master Turtle, fearing he might lash out uncontrollably.
