Ancient Dragon Elephant Technique

Zhang Qingyuan and a group of nine went to seek the Lord of Netherworld, while Lin Feng, Leng Wuxin, and ten others did not accompany them.

Many had the same thoughts as Lin Feng; they would rather battle the Lord of Netherworld than submit and become his slaves.

Throughout history, countless cultivators have fought for freedom, facing death with no regrets.

Endless darkness enveloped the earth, and within that darkness, a hazy figure walked towards Zhang Qingyuan and the others.

”Great Lord of Netherworld, we are here to pledge our allegiance, willing to become your Netherworld Demon Slaves!”

Zhang Qingyuan and his followers knelt on the ground, bowing their heads to the Lord of Netherworld.

The Lord of Netherworld laughed oddly, saying, ”You people do have a bit of self-awareness.”

Zhang Qingyuan quickly said, ”It is our honor to serve you, my lord.”

The Lord of Netherworld replied sinisterly, ”Do you know what you must do after becoming Netherworld Demon Slaves?”

Zhang Qingyuan and the others quickly lowered their heads and said, ”Whatever it is, we are willing to face any danger without complaint, and we will not disappoint you, my lord.”

”Since that’s the case, I will give you a chance to become Netherworld Demon Slaves, as long as you pass the test,” the Lord of Netherworld said meaningfully.

”We obey your instructions,” the group hurriedly replied.

The Lord of Netherworld stated, ”Kill everyone besides the nine of you, and bring their heads to me. Once that’s done, you can become my Netherworld Demon Slaves.”

The faces of Zhang Qingyuan and his companions suddenly changed.

They hadn’t expected the Lord of Netherworld to make such a request.

This meant they had to kill each other.

Zhang Qingyuan said, ”Informing you, my lord, some among those people are very powerful, nearly reaching the True God Realm. We have the will but not the means.”

”Either they die, or you die. I will not listen to any excuses,” the Lord of Netherworld said, sweeping his right hand.

Suddenly.

Zhang Qingyuan and his companions were swept away.

...

”What do we do now?” a Divine Realm Expert asked.

Zhang Qingyuan replied darkly, ”A hero does not fret over trifles, and toxic measures are necessary for great men. Anyway, those people do not know the Lord of Netherworld’s condition for us. We should break them individually, win their trust, and then either poison them or launch a surprise attack to ensure their deaths.”

”Alright, let’s do that!” the group nodded.

They quickly departed and soon encountered two Divine Realm Cultivators, Lu Ansheng and Lu Anshi, who were brothers.

Seeing Zhang Qingyuan and the others, the brothers sneered, clearly contemptuous of their intent to submit to the Lord of Netherworld.

”Brother Zhang...” Zhang Qingyuan and his followers greeted with a salute.

Lu Ansheng said indifferently, ”Weren’t you going to find the Lord of Netherworld, to pledge allegiance? Why are you here?”

Zhang Qingyuan said, ”Our previous decision was ill-considered. We’ve discussed and decided to abandon that plan. We have so many people, even the Lord of Netherworld can’t necessarily kill us all. Why submit to him? Moreover, I don’t believe there isn’t a flaw in the Netherworld Cave space. There must be a way out; with patience, we will surely find it.”

Upon hearing Zhang Qingyuan’s words, the Lu brothers’ expressions softened, and they said, ”Everyone is dispersed looking for exits. Perhaps now we should gather everyone again to discuss strategies together.”

”Our behavior before must have disappointed many Taoists. We hope that the two Brother Lui will mediate.” Zhang Qingyuan said.

Lu Anshi nodded, saying, ”Rest assured, we will resolve the misunderstandings.”

Lu Ansheng said, ”In that case, let’s proceed to find others now.”

Zhang Qingyuan and the others agreed, and the group flew into the distance.

Zhang Qingyuan exchanged eye signals with the other eight, purposefully lagging behind the Lu brothers.

Then the nine attacked simultaneously, ambushing the Lu brothers from behind.

Boom...

The Nine Venerable Gods attacked together, creating a terrifying assault.

Even though the Lu brothers were strong.

They hadn’t expected Zhang Qingyuan and the others to ambush them.

So, facing Zhang Qingyuan and his group’s assault, the Lu brothers didn’t even have time to react before being blasted away.

The brothers fell to the ground, spitting blood profusely.

Their blood was mixed with entrails.

Clearly, their organs had been shattered by the nine Divine Realm experts.

These injuries were nearly fatal.

”You...” The brothers pointed at Zhang Qingyuan and the others, eyes full of endless hatred.

”Don’t hate us. If you’re going to hate, hate yourself for being unappreciative and not standing on the same line as us.”

Zhang Qingyuan sneered, raised his right hand, and cut off the heads of the Lu brothers.

...

Lin Feng walked deeper into the space.

Leng Wuxin followed him.

She said, ”Do you have an outline of an escape plan in mind?”

Lin Feng said indifferently, ”With the Lord of Netherworld being so terrifying, escaping won’t be easy. But perhaps there’s something special deeper in this space?”

”It’s indeed worth checking out. However, if we encounter the Lord of Netherworld, it’ll be disastrous. I suspect that place might be the Lord’s lair.”

Leng Wuxin furrowed her brow slightly.

”What do you think the cultivation of this Lord of Netherworld is?” Lin Feng asked.

Leng Wuxin said, ”True God Realm...”

Lin Feng sighed and said, ”Too powerful, truly despairing.”

Leng Wuxin replied, ”Years ago, I read about the Lord of Netherworld in a Taoist scripture. I don’t know if it has any connection to the current Lord.”

”What did the Taoist Scripture record?” Lin Feng asked.

”The Lord of Netherworld doesn’t refer to a single person. More accurately, it’s a title, a position conferred by the Netherworld, much like mortal kingdoms have many generals. A general is a position, and the Lord of Netherworld is also a position.”

Leng Wuxin explained.

Lin Feng stroked his chin and said, ”So it seems there is more than one Lord of Netherworld in the universe.”

Leng Wuxin nodded slightly, saying, ”Correct... The duty of the Lord of Netherworld is to guard the entrances to the Netherworld.”

”The Netherworld is one of the legendary Three Upper Realms, superior to the Three Thousand Great Worlds, mysterious and ancient, likely connected to many worlds, so there are many Lords of Netherworld.”

Lin Feng said.

Leng Wuxin nodded and said, ”Exactly. They act as world passage guardians, so I suspect the Netherworld’s entrance is deeper, and perhaps, there’s a weakness of the Lord there!”

Lin Feng said, ”If we can find the Lord of Netherworld’s weakness, perhaps we can escape and get out from the Netherworld Cave.”
