Chapter 1258: Chapter 38: Stopping at Nothing

The two women, one in a purple dress and the other in a red dress.

They had tried to offer Lin Feng massage services before, so Lin Feng had some impression of them.

Now, these two were clearly in trouble, surrounded by a dozen mountain giants, and it seemed they were barely holding on.

Their faces were pale as paper, full of despair.

Just as they were about to meet their demise, Lin Feng appeared in time, wrapping an arm around the waist of each woman, retreating to avoid the mountain giants’ attack.

”Young Master, it’s you...”

Seeing Lin Feng, the two women showed expressions of extreme surprise and joy.

Lin Feng nodded to them and quickly took them away.

It didn’t take long to shake off the mountain giants.

Lin Feng landed in the forest, then let go of the two women, asking, ”Why are you here?”

The woman in the purple dress said, ”We entered the Primordial Ancient Forest to find a spiritual medicine, but when leaving, we were surrounded by those mountain giants and the others died tragically, leaving only the two of us.”

Lin Feng said, ”This Primordial Ancient Forest is full of dangers, yet you dared to come in, it’s like throwing your life away.”

The tall beauty was almost in tears as she said, ”Young Master doesn’t understand us loose cultivators, often risking our lives to gain some cultivation resources. The spiritual medicine we sought is called Blood Worm Grass, one plant can be exchanged for three top-grade spirit stones, which makes it worth risking our lives.”

Lin Feng was a bit puzzled, it seemed these two women were risking dangers for Blood Worm Grass to exchange for spirit stones, indicating they no longer pursued their previous line of work.

Otherwise, they wouldn’t risk such danger to earn spirit stones.

Lin Feng said, ”You might as well leave the Primordial Ancient Forest with me.”

”Thank you, Young Master.” The two women showed expressions of joy.

Three days later, heavy rain poured down in the Primordial Ancient Forest.

Lin Feng and the two women found a cave to shelter from the rain, temporarily unable to leave.

”Young Master, our clothes are soaked, let us help you change.” The woman in the purple dress said.

Lin Feng said, ”You two go change inside, I’ll use mana to dry my clothes.”

”Alright then...” The two women nodded, walking to a corner inside to block the view from outside.

Lin Feng used mana to dry his clothes, then leaned against a rock, closed his eyes to rest.

After changing their clothes, the two women also came out.

”Young Master, wandering the mortal world, we sisters are lonely, seeing that tomorrow we’ll leave the Primordial Ancient Forest, who knows when we’ll meet again, perhaps never in this life, if Young Master doesn’t mind, we are willing to be your maids, even if it’s just serving by your side willingly.” The woman in the purple dress said.

The woman in the red dress also said, ”We plead Young Master to take us in!”

Lin Feng said, ”I have no fixed residence, it’s difficult to settle you, and with your looks, finding a good family to marry into wouldn’t be difficult at all.”

After hearing this, the two women tearfully said, ”Does Young Master despise us?”

Lin Feng said, ”Don’t misunderstand, how could I despise you? It’s simply too dangerous for you to stay with me, I’m considering your safety!”

The woman in the purple dress said, ”Being able to follow Young Master even for a day, we’d willingly risk death.”

The woman in the red dress also said, ”It’s not about eternity, but about having been together. Please, Young Master, take us in.”

Lin Feng pondered for a moment, then said, ”Since you insist, follow me from now on.”

”Thank you, Young Master!”

The sisters were overjoyed, quickly bowing to Lin Feng.

The three rested together.

Late at night, the woman in the purple dress and the woman in the red dress opened their eyes.

In the darkness, they exchanged a glance.

The woman in the purple dress reached her right hand to Lin Feng’s back, pressing toward the third vertebra.

This is a death acupoint in a person; if severely injured, the body instantly becomes paralyzed.

It turned out these two women were indeed plotting against Lin Feng.

The woman in the red dress then struck toward Lin Feng’s head.

”We’ve succeeded...” The eyes of the woman in the purple dress and the woman in the red dress simultaneously flashed with a ruthless gleam, thinking success was certain.

Suddenly, a powerful aura burst from Lin Feng’s body, sending the two flying away.

The two women fell to the ground, instantly unable to move.

Lin Feng said, ”I always suspected you approached me with impure motives, but I couldn’t figure out your background, so I decided to go along and see what you planned.”

Hearing Lin Feng’s words, the two women’s faces turned ashen.
