Chapter 262: Chapter 23 Dragon Sect Established

Lin Feng brazenly stormed into the Blood Dragon Association alone, crippling seventy-two core members of the Blood Dragon Association, which caused an uproar throughout the Azure Dragon Academy!

Since its establishment, the Blood Dragon Association had never suffered such a significant loss!

Rumors had it that Yan Wutian, the second-in-command of the Blood Dragon Association, had received the news and rushed back to the Azure Dragon Academy to deal with the matter.

Meanwhile, inside the Law Enforcement Hall of the Azure Dragon Academy, a group of the academy’s senior officials were engaged in heated debates about this incident.

Elder Li Mosen of the Law Enforcement Hall slammed the table and said coldly, “It’s lawlessness, sheer lawlessness! In broad daylight, to strike with such venom, crippling seventy-two students of the Azure Dragon Academy. What’s more, one student had all four limbs crushed, rendered incapable of full recovery, a lifelong handicap. If we do not punish Lin Feng for his cruel actions, what authority can our Azure Dragon Academy command?”

Elder Wenren Canglan of the Task Hall said indifferently, “Elder Li is so eager to punish Lin Feng, but I heard that Elder Li’s grandson is also a member of the Blood Dragon Association, isn’t he? Even holding a key position? Ha, Elder Li must not forget his own status. You are the Great Elder of the Azure Dragon Academy’s Law Enforcement Hall, not a servant of some student organization like the Blood Dragon Association!”

At these words, Li Mosen’s face flushed with anger as he retorted, “Elder Wenren, do not slander me. Everything I do is in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Azure Dragon Academy.”

“Then let me ask you,” continued Elder Wenren Canglan, “how did you handle the matter of Yan Wudao from the Blood Dragon Association harassing Su Zimo and then seeking revenge on her after failing? The Blood Dragon Association members have been acting lawlessly for so long within the Azure Dragon Academy—why hasn’t the Law Enforcement Hall corrected their behavior in a timely manner, allowing one mistake after another? Don’t tell me you, as the Great Elder of the Law Enforcement Hall, are completely unaware of these matters.”

Wenren Canglan sneered.

“You, you, you…” Li Mosen’s complexion turned from pale to flushed with fury.

He was well aware of these matters, but he had simply chosen to turn a blind eye.

One reason was that the royal family had sent word to him.

Another was that it was just students’ affairs; as long as it didn’t cost lives, any level of trouble was deemed inconsequential.

The increasingly arrogant and presumptuous behavior of the Blood Dragon Association over the years was largely related to Li Mosen’s dereliction of duty as the Great Elder of the Law Enforcement Hall.

“Hmph, regardless, this matter must be dealt with severely. Without rules, there can be no order,” Li Mosen stated coldly.

“Elder Li, if we’re talking about severe punishment,” retorted Elder Wenren Canglan, “shouldn’t we also discuss the years of inaction on Elder Li’s part?”

…

The entire hall was divided into three factions: one that supported Li Mosen, advocating for harsh punishment for Lin Feng;

one faction, including Wenren Canglan and others, supported protecting Lin Feng;

and another that remained aloof, sitting back and enjoying the drama over tea.

Buzz!

At that moment, an energy fluctuation appeared in the void.

A scene materialized out of the void.

It was an ocean!

Waves surged to the sky!

A man was sitting cross-legged above the sea, seemingly cultivating a powerful secret technique.

The man opened his eyes.

“Lord Prefecture Master!”

Upon seeing this man, everyone stood up and hurriedly paid their respects.

The Prefecture Master of the Azure Dragon Academy, Ouyang Zhentian!

He was a formidable figure; if he had not failed in the contest for the position of City Lord of Sun Moon City, why would he have been relegated to the True Martial Country, this tiny place, to preside over the Azure Dragon Academy?

You must understand that in other Mortal Kingdoms, the Prefecture Master of a single academy is merely at the Martial King Realm!

And Ouyang Zhentian…

Just how powerful he really was, perhaps only the important figures in Sun Moon City knew?

“I’m already aware of this matter,” Ouyang Zhentian said.

Everyone lowered their heads, waiting for Ouyang Zhentian’s orders.

“Let the students resolve this issue on their own. As for you, just take care of your own affairs,” Ouyang Zhentian said.

“Yes!” Many leaders responded in chorus.

The image that floated in the Void disappeared.

Elder Wenren Canglan burst into hearty laughter, “Elder Li, I advise you to just be honest. The Lord Prefecture Master himself has intervened because of Lin Feng. Can’t you see that he is paying attention to Lin Feng? Don’t end up implicating yourself in the process.”

Li Mosen’s eyebrows twitched violently, evidently angered. He said with a cold laugh, “Each year, the Lord Prefecture Master pays attention to more than just one or two people. Those who laugh early are not necessarily the ones who laugh last!”

Elder Wenren Canglan sneered, “Stubborn fool, we’ll see who falls in the end. Just don’t ruin your final years.”

With these words, he walked towards the exit of the hall.

The rest of the people also left one after another. Li Mosen’s expression was gloomy, and cold light flashed in his eyes from time to time, his thoughts inscrutable.

…

Everyone at Azure Dragon Academy, whether students, teachers, stewards, elders, etc., was focused on Lin Feng for having charged into the Blood Dragon Association alone to save his good brother Su Zimo, and for having defeated seventy-two of Blood Dragon Association’s experts!

Many thought that Lin Feng would surely face severe punishment, but Azure Dragon Academy became silent regarding the matter. Rumors circulated that the Prefecture Master himself had stepped in to protect Lin Feng. Naturally, this made many people very happy. The Blood Dragon Association was already disliked by many. And Lin Feng, risking everything to storm into the Blood Dragon Association for the sake of a friend, was seen by many as a heroic figure. Countless people began to idolize Lin Feng, especially many female students, who started to regard Lin Feng as their idol.

However, Azure Dragon Academy was not calm because Yan Wutian, the second-in-command of the Blood Dragon Association, had returned. Everyone knew that Yan Wutian would definitely not let this matter rest.

Su Zimo was suffering from superficial injuries and had mostly recovered after a few days.

One day, Su Zimo, Long Shiyou, Wu Ming, and many others who had once fought alongside Lin Feng on the battlefield, such as Wang Kun from the Mountain River List ranked thirty-first, and Zhang Leiting ranked thirty-fifth, all came together.

“Captain, let’s establish a force. We’re willing to follow you,” Wang Kun said. Those who had fought with Lin Feng on the battlefield still liked to refer to Lin Feng as their captain.

Su Zimo said, “Fengzi, I’m here on behalf of the Outer Court students. Azure Dragon Academy itself has various forces, large and small, including the Five Great Forces: the Blood Dragon Association, Thunder Cloud Sect, Snow Pavilion, Mad Shout Gang, Rain Tower. The students from these factions are high and mighty, while ordinary students who are bullied can only suffer in silence. Like this time, I was captured by Yan Wudao; if I had a force behind me, would Yan Wudao dare to target me so blatantly? Many people are hoping, Fengzi, that you will establish a force, and we’re willing to follow you.”

Long Shiyou said, “Captain, don’t hesitate anymore. We’re willing to follow you and pledge our loyalty to death!”

Lin Feng said, “Thanks to all my brothers for your esteem. Since everyone wishes for it, let’s establish a force named Dragon Sect. I hope that every member of Dragon Sect will be like a dragon, soaring through the skies.”

“Dragon Sect? Everyone like a dragon?”

All eyes suddenly lit up!

“Greetings, Sect Leader!”

A group of people bowed to Lin Feng.

“We’re all brothers here, no need for such formality,” Lin Feng waved his hand.

Perhaps even Lin Feng himself didn’t know that in the future, Dragon Sect would become the most glorious force among the Three Thousand States of the Heavenly Martial Continent.

A force that even those ancient powers with Ancient Inheritances would deeply fear.

And that terrifying Dragon Sect of the future was established today, amidst the support of a group of students!
