Tempest of the Stellar War

The Sirius Star war zone attracted more attention than the Solar System. Not only the Sirius Star was relieved that Manalasuo had finally stopped in their tracks.

The miniature stealth detectors were complete in every detail and roamed quietly on the battlefield. Most of them were launched by the detection forces of the Sirius Star, Manalasuo, and the Hail Cloud Alliance. However, there were also quite a few from other countries.

The Sirius Star Field was surrounded by space magnetic mines, which made it difficult and time-consuming for the fleet to strike further. Why was that so?

The Sirius Star was prepared to battle to the death, but they also had a plan to drag Manalasuo on and wait for the same fate to befall onto Manalasuo. In fact, no countries wanted to see Manalasuo rise up like this, not even Arbiter and Aslan. Manalasuo would definitely encounter problems as long as they dragged on.

No country wanted to see Manalasuo take another step forward to become the third super empire. It could be deduced that this innovative empire would become dangerous once they obtained enough power. That would unsettle the fragile balance in the already fragile Milky Way Alliance!

Even the Hail Cloud Alliance understood this point, which was why they slowed down on the pace of attacking the Sirius Star. The ploys between countries were really thick.

Front line strategic department of the Sirius Star.

As the pace of the front line battlefield slowed down, the Sirius Star gradually regained their strength. A war assembly order gathered the battleships originally assigned to other areas to the front line at the Gumang Star. They had forced a new fleet, borrowing the star’s defense system to block the attack of Manalasuo.

The strategists of the Sirius Star were going over the second phase of the war madly. Over and over again, inferring and imagining every possible scenario, considering every factor.

“No, no, no, not like that. Although we are on the defensive, as long as we can oppress the Manalasuo division, we can also take the initiative to attack. That way, we will be able to further interrupt the rhythm of Manalasuo’s attacks…”

“I agree with interrupting their rhythm of attack, but taking the initiative now is an unnecessary risk. This fleet is our last space force! Damn those Titans! We cannot form another fleet. How many times has Manalasuo tried to lure us out? To attack now will be falling into their trap.”

The Titans were undoubtedly the party that the Sirius Star cursed at the most now, even more so than Manalasuo. If it wasn’t for them, their resources wouldn’t be so stretched now. The Titans had even used their spaceships in their decisive battle in the Solar System!

“But defense has always been too passive. There is no initiative, so how can we say that we are disrupting the enemy’s rhythm?”

There were constant disputes and numerous different opinions, but there was one consensus. Manalasuo’s fast battle was blocked by them. The battle was impossible to end in a short time. If their strategies didn’t go wrong, the two armies confronting each other would become a norm for the Sirius Star.

A decisive battle wasn’t fought on a whim. Everything needed to fall in place for it to happen.

Of course, in terms of pure power, Manalasuo still had the absolute power to force a decisive battle to defeat the Sirius Star in a short period of time. However, a defeat wasn’t the same as annexation. Such a flash attack would require them to pay a heavy price every time. For every thousand enemies killed, eight hundred of their own troops would be scarified. The other countries would tear Manalasuo apart before Manalasuo could count their spoils from the Sirius Star.

Two dogs strive for a bone, and a third runs away with it.

The generals at the front line of Manalasuo had the same realization.

They weren’t happy about it, but the Sirius Star was.

Especially after they obtained the latest casualty reports. The headquarters were dumbfounded.

Data wouldn’t lie. It only showed that the current situation was a lot more than what they budgeted for originally.

Two reconnaissance fleets were taken out from the front line. That was normal and in the expected range, but they had actually lost more than 2,000 of their men from their rear!

This was the data even after deploying a curfew for the planet!

However, their position with the Sirius Star wasn’t looking too good. The Sirius Star had adopted laws to allow their citizens legal possession of firearms. Everyone at the age of eighteen, regardless of gender, had to serve in national military service for two years. The only exclusions were for health, religious, and pregnancy reasons. It wasn’t a formality, every one of them was well trained.

All citizens were soldiers, every family had weapons and identities, but their common identities as “commoners” made Manalasuo spare the rat to save the dishes.

Constant rebellion, suppression, break out. Curfew? It was totally useless! The rebellion was out in the broad daylight!

There was smoke everywhere. Manalasuo soldiers occupying the planet were the minority after all. They were also in a state of anxiety. Obviously, the citizens of the Sirius Star were prepared for it before these planets fell. A large number of weapons that could be used against mechs were hidden all over the planet. Many suicide attacks were also arranged.

This would never settle down unless they kill all the citizens of the Sirius Star.

However, this kind of massacre would not be advantageous to Manalasuo for its future position in the Milky Way Alliance.

The war was about to officially enter a drawn out phase.

Everyone in Manalasuo had the same feeling: no new force could create a breakthrough for this situation.

Manalasuo loved risks, but that did not mean they would charge in blindly. The anti-reconnaissance space shuttles wiped out so many detectors from other nations every day. They were all waiting for the empire to show its flaw.

The battlefield in the Sirius Star became calm…

Just when the Manalasuo people were preparing for the long battle, the highest commander of Manalasuo suddenly launched a decisive battle order! Moreover, it was going to be by the expedition fleet!

The citizens of the Sirius Star were shocked at first. They didn’t see any reinforcements from Manalasuo!

They calmed down after that. The compulsory military service of the nation made the Sirius Star’s joint combat ability extremely powerful. A hastily put together fleet would not lose out to any other fleet.

With the Gumang Star’s defense system as the main force bearing most of the fire power, the temporary fleet was being constantly dispatched to assume the role of fire fighting.

Manalasuo obtained a partial advantage. There was no sign of a decisive result.

This was a tug-of-war, consuming immense firepower from both sides.

An offensive fleet bypassed the frontal artillery position and launched an attack from the left wing.Read more chapter on NovelFull

“Insufficient amount, confirmed to be a flanking attack, send D30 squadron to block F, pay attention to the right wing, there might be surprises…”

Countless unmanned space mecha flcoked out. Life was alight.

The losses on both sides were expanding into a black hole…

“Is Manalasuo crazy? They really want to end this!”

“Fight! Fight!”

“Kill!”

The Sirius Star showed their wolf nature. They relied on the powerful position of the Gumang Star, and their fleet continued their encroaching attacks. They used the Gumang Star’s gunfire to divide the frontal battleships of Manalasuo. The regional battles were won through numbers and were then decisively withdrawn.

Bolet watched calmly as the war damage continued to climb. Both sides had victories in some areas, but if they enlarged it to the whole battlefield,, both sides would be bound to lose if this were to continue on.

The faces of the strategists turned green. They were the ones who had provided the strategy, and their reaction to the changes on the ground were on the spot as well, but the Sirius Star was simply too difficult.

At a place that could not be seen, the super warriors from both sides were also having a tough fight. There was no clear winner.

Various space probes were converging on the battlefield, collecting and reporting all sorts of intel to various intelligence agencies.

The boiling battlefield was overwhelmed with excitement. “Manalasuo is mad, they are attacking the Gumang Star without reinforcements!”

…

However, this excitement suddenly froze in the air with the entry of a medium-sized fleet.

Certain results were shown in some areas, but one fleet more wasn’t going to make much of a difference to the overall battle.

However, the Sirius Star’s nightmare finally began. Their guerrilla fighters faced a fatal blow.

The third person in the Milky Way Alliance who could use Ren Yixuan’s Game appeared.

This was Lear’s fleet. Bolet had been resisting until now. He cruelly used Lear’s fleet directly on the Sirius Star’s elite assault team. This fleet had caused huge casualties to the Manalasuo fleet. General Wolfan of the Wolf God Fleet was the Sirius Star’s youngest and most talented Major General. He emerged during the defensive battle and caused Manalasuo great loss. He had a nickname — Spooky Wolf.

This battle spelled the end for the Wolf God Fleet. Wolfan died.

Lear became famous with just one battle.

The Sirius Star’s last bit of willpower collapsed with the loss of their main fleet. Manalasuo wasn’t weak. Bolet issued a death order. The Manalasuo people weren’t afraid of sacrifice. This was the price they had to pay for war. Zero casualties wasn’t war, but a game.

Lear’s army showed their magical effect. Manalasuo obtained absolute advantage.

The Sirius Star lost.

It ended in a way that no one would have thought of. The third country who used hive warfare demonstrated again that Ren Yixuan’s game was the future of humanity.

Facts spoke louder than words. Lear’s new human plan was adopted in Manalasuo. Innovative, adventurous, and daring Manalasuo citizens provided him with a convenient avenue. The Manalasuo people obtained an invincible fleet with this new genetic technology. Ren Yixuan and Xie Yuxin were limited by area range and control. However, that limitation wasn’t present with Lear. On the contrary, the more new humans there were, the stronger he could become. He was at the fixed point of a pyramid. The birth of every new human would provide him with nutrients, just like a queen ant.

Of course, he didn’t mention this to the Manalasuo people. Only Sharjah and him knew about it. For the mad Professor Sharjah, Manalasuo, with a huge, outstanding army, was the best testing ground. Once they were legalized, perhaps even the universe could be theirs. The most critical part now was to pass the first “legal” stage.

The scariest part of such an experiment was for it to be strangled in the cradle. Obtaining the support of Manalasuo was even more ideal than the ideal plan.

What Lear had to do now was keep a low profile. Hide his ability and pledge his allegiance to someone else for now. He would wait for the opportunity for him to hatch out of his shell.
