Tempest of the Stellar War

Merte changed positions but did not make any moves. It was as if he was toying with his opponent. This was a tribute to his opponent. The Mayans did not require any Ability X. It was complicated and meaningless. However, his streaming lights maneuver was much faster than any wind or lightning Ability X. This was because light was speed.

The Knight of the Holy Light was not motionless now. Growling…

The Maya’s Mantis struck. Raindrop-like energy beams enveloped the Knight of the Holy Light from the side. A series of positional changes had made Ouyang Chuanyu see stars.

Rumbling…

The energy light shield was sealed and the energy beams blasted in full force. The Knight of the Holy Light was forced to retreat twenty meters.

“You are not my match. Admit defeat or die!” said Merte, giving the Aslan people due respect.

Ouyang Chuanyun swung the left arm of his mech and the energy shield disappeared. A smile appeared on his face. “The mech’s performance display is over. An exquisite piece of work made in Aslan. The Holy Light series is the future mech of the humans!”

… Everyone was dumbfounded. Was this advertising???

The little fellows had been played by Ouyang Chuanyun. But Ouyang Chuanyun was not bothered about it. Officially, he was an Aslan person. It was a good opportunity to promote their mech, especially since this series was going to be the mainstay mech in the future. Unofficially, his family had a share in the making of the mech. With such a good opportunity, and since it was free, it would be a pity not to grab this opportunity.

Merte frowned. “What’s the meaning of this?”

“What I mean is, warm up is over. Show me what you’ve got!”

Ouyang Chuanyun was eager to try.

Yuan Donger could not help but shake her head. “Your brother hasn’t changed a bit!”

“He’s like that. I have given up already,” said Ouyang Ruoliu softly. Compared to her brother, Ouyang Ruoliu was much more “composed”.

The light was shining on Merte’s body. His opponent was not being serious. Was he mocking him? If this was the case, he would have no more misgivings.

Boom…

The Maya’s Mantis radiated brightly. The strong energy storm swept through. This vanguard of the Child of Light battle team was furious. This was an extremely dangerous sign.

The Child of Light battle team was emotionless in front of everyone. The Mayans understood the rules. But if the humans were courting death, their wish would be granted. It was not a big deal.

The Knight of Holy Light radiated brightly. This was because with the frightening power of the runic mech of Atlantis, the Holy Light series was not as exaggerated in comparison. The feeling was like learning Atlantis’ secret after a great deal of effort, only to discover that it was not much of a big deal. That was the overall difference. This was also the reason why Ouyang Chuanyun specially boasted a little and displayed the basic performance of the mech. Aslan’s warriors needed to show bravery, wits, and intelligence.

But even with victory, they would not let up. Ouyang Chuanyun smile slightly.

The runic rays radiated brightly. Spiritual power exploded and a dazzling light exploded.

Earth-rank… promising light ability!

Through the lights, Ouyang Chuanyun’s face was filled with glory and arrogance. Lights, it was also something that he could control.

Streaming lights teleportation!

The glimpses of the lights!

Both mecha simultaneously activated their light speed, zooming around like two rays of light. It would be an exaggeration to say that it was light, but the speed of these mecha were incomparable to anything that was available in the market right now. Even with Ability X as a guide, it would still require the mech’s own special composite physics to work. Otherwise, if the speed was too fast, it would be an issue too.

The focus was turned instantly to the big screen. The cameras captured the high-speed movements and was playing it in slow motion.

Like a ghost, the Knight of Holy Light followed the Maya’s Mantis. Wherever the Maya’s Mantis went, it stayed closely behind!

The Aslan people did not know how to imitate. Otherwise, they would have imported the mecha from Atlantis. This Holy Light series was custom-created for humans, and it greatly strengthened the changes of the human’s spiritual strengths and Ability Xs. Runic energy was very good stuff. The humans had already formed their own systems, so promoting themselves would be the best.

Merte was getting more and more impatient and angry, and the lights of his body were getting stronger. But the Knight of Holy Light was still closely following behind him. Speed had masked the boorish movements and melee techniques of the Mayans.

Unable to shake off, let alone to attack. This had angered Merte. Boom…

With Maya’s Mantis as the core energy, it suddenly exploded. The Knight of Holy Light also opened up a distance quickly. This was a brainless attack. This meant that the opponent was absolutely furious.

Ode of Death ripples!

An energy column appeared above the head of the Knight of Holy Light, yet he was still unable to escape. The major teams had come up with two methods after some research. One was to open up a distance quickly and leave the area of the attack. The other was to attack before the explosions. But when confronted with streaming light teleportation, these two options were not possible to execute.

No reaction. Ouyang Chuanyun did not appear to be doing anything.

The Knight of Holy Light was like a fool. Just lay down some plans. Even if he were to lose, at least his life would not be in danger!

Ouyang Chuanyun was not given much time. Boom…

Ouyang Chuanyun had lots of time for choices, but he could only shrug his shoulders helplessly.

With a bang, Merte was flung up into the air. Immediately following that, the Maya’s Mantis was blown to pieces.

Ouyang Chuanyun was feeling very helpless. He wanted to have a little more fun since it was a rare debut. There were many psychos in the team, so every match was precious.

After a few seconds of silence, the voice of the host rang through the arena.

“Ouyang Chuanyun wins!”

The Knight of Holy Light gave a knight’s salute to the audience on all directions of the arena.

For a rare Light element like Ouyang Chuanyun’s, the understandings that the Mayans showed was really shallow. They were obsessed with the display of energy but did not understand the essence of energy. Changes and adaptation were weaknesses of humans, and they were also their strengths. This was why humans had become the dominators.

No one realized that the Mayans would not even have a chance to retaliate. But that was because Merte was confronted by a Light element Earth-rank warrior. He was absolutely a superior representative of the humans’ Earth-rank warrior at the SIG. He could restrain energy. Could the others do it as well?

Aslan took the win for the vanguards’ battle. But the competition had only just started.

Ouyang Chuanyun had returned but was still feeling quite unfinished. “What a pity! I can’t fight continuously; otherwise, I’d take them out all by myself.”

“Stop it. Don’t be greedy. Eating alone is not a good habit. Also, can you not be such a hillbilly. Is this a place to advertise?!” said Eve Litt.

“Come on, beautiful. Our family’s business is just a small business. Even if we were competitors, it’s not nice to lambaste me like this,” Ouyang Chuanyun said with a smile, although he didn’t quite care.

To the outside world, this was a very evenly matched battle. Even if Aslan was confident, it was at most a sixty percent chance. However, the Sword Shield Rose team seemed very relaxed. Lin Feng did not pretend to be serious; he had always showed a relaxed expression.
