Tempest of the Stellar War

However, the most exciting match was between the Star Lya battle team and the Eagle battle team.

Pampas and Dendi had presented a stunning offensive and defensive battle for everyone.

The Eagle battle team had chosen the battlefield to be an offense-defense battle in the city. The Star Lya could choose to attack or defend first. The truth was that with Pampas’ ability, he would have chances in either format. However, to start with defending would be relatively more advantageous, and the Star Lya battle team had chosen to be the side to defend.

Eagle would be on the attacking side. The current Eagle battle team had recruited Vincent, and the attacker position was already at the top-notch level in the Greatest King Competition. One could say that under normal performance, Wang Zheng’s Golden Wheel’s upper limit would be as so. After all, team battles wouldn’t provide so many opportunities to showcase techniques. Parana was a valiant member from the Maacah Republic. He took the role of the tank and had rough looks. He even had a big beard. Within Elite Academy, he was the kind that looked older than his actual age. His Ability X was Wood attribute and possessed very strong healing power. His Ability X was a nourishing type that could be used to nourish himself or his teammates. Obviously, this type of healing and nourishing ability wasn’t as exaggerated as one might think. However, when both parties were dragged into a long battle, such an ability would become extremely valuable.

Zhao Long was a warrior from Maacah Republic and had the nickname of “Reckless Guy”. Everyone who had seen his training and battles would know that he was the type who rushed in without thinking. As long as he received an order to attack, he could fight his way through without looking back. This was because he possessed well-rounded cultivation techniques. Rumor had it that his father was from Earth, while his mother was from the Maacah Republic. Therefore, he could be considered to be a half Earthling.

It was really strange recently as there had been multiple appearances of outstanding warriors from Earth.

Eagle battle team was supposed to focus on attacking, but Dendi had surprisingly chosen the Lighthouse Warrior. This model of mech was a functional type mech from Manalasuo.

Manalasuo was a strange country. They had risen up by imitating Arbiter. However, they were thinking of surpassing them after reaching a certain level, and imitating would make it hard for them to surpass. Therefore, their scientists had all sorts of strange and great ideas. They believed that they had to have bold imaginations in order to have breakthroughs. Therefore, they had created the Golden Wheel and the Lighthouse Warrior.

This was a functional mech designed by the Mecha Lunatic, Sevestell of Manalauso. It possessed various… assisting abilities. However, its operations were complicated. In other words, it required a super warrior to operate but had relatively weaker attacking potency. This concept was doubted once it was raised. Nonetheless, Sevestell didn’t care about these and came out with this model of mech. However, only a total of a thousand of this model were manufactured. It was also because of its name that it was actually brought back for further research. In the end, the conclusion was that the functions were great, but it would be difficult to ask a super warrior to become a support for others.

When Dendi chose this mech, the Elite Academy was ignited. The school motto of Elite Academy was turning the impossible to the possible!

Sparks were everywhere from the very beginning of the battle. This was because the defending Pampas had made use of his Ability X to lead his teammates for an ambush.

It’s advantageous to defend, but it didn’t mean that one had to defend. The position Pampas chose for ambushing was very good. Advantageous landscape and the first strike were what the defending side had. Moreover, they had a better vision. In fact, when the strength of both teams were similar, this would be the deciding factor of victory.

Facing such a situation, the first one to rush out wasn’t the heavy armour, it was Zhao Long. His Ability X wasn’t Enraging but was similar to self-hypnosis. The stronger the enemy felt like, the stronger he would be and vice versa.

What he specialised in was the violent and brainless Octa Step Spear Strike. It was also known as the Zhao-Octa Spear Strike. The impact from this would be hard to stop even for a heavy mech.

However, Star Lya had Ao Ziwei. They were definitely able to stop it.

As long as Zhao Long could withstand it, his support would have arrived and the Lighthouse Warrior could support just in time. If only Dendi was operating some violent attacking mech and came to support him. A mech like the current one would not instill any fear even if it were to arrive.

The Lighthouse Warrior had multiple functions that weren’t for attacking. Its weapon was a chain scythe and the most unique point on the entire mech was the gravity lighthouse. It felt similar to the Wind God in design, and Ye Zisu probably had some inspiration from it.

It was just that the Wind God mech was more direct and easier to accept by others. However, a mech like this was born entirely because of needs, and it wasn’t practical. Chain attacks were relatively weaker and harder to control. The device Gravity Lantern was a little weak. Some countries might have adopted some parts of it and developed an external device for regular supporting mech. The effect would be similar too, and the operations would be easier and unlike the complicated ones of the Lighthouse Warrior. The Lighthouse Warrior and the Golden Wheel used to carry the name of the “Two Broken Cars” of Manalasuo.

Currently, the Golden Wheel had made its comeback.

Without a doubt, today would be the moment Lighthouse Warrior made his comeback.

The gravity Lantern caused all the mech warriors of the Eagle battle team to gather. The first to gather was Vincent, who was like a gust of wind. He also operated the terrifying Golden Wheel.

And with Dendi’s strength, if it was just defending, it would be similar regardless of the mecha. The chains, together with the force field, created formed a creepy chain defence surrounding the mech. The flashing scythe was also something that couldn’t be overlooked. That was also the only bright side Mecha Lunatic had when designing this mech

He worshipped the scythe of the Soul Reaper a little but felt that the scythe of the Soul Reaper was too short. Therefore he had added the chains. This scythe was extravagantly created with 50% G materials mixed with special metal alloys. Its durability was top-notch.

When the Eagle battle team arrived, Pampas knew that it was time to retreat. Pampas’ decision was quick and accurate. Before his opponents formed a flank, the team retreated with him being the last man.

He believed in his own strength and that it would be hard for the members of the Eagle battle team to keep him back.

However, for a captain to be the last, this was a little overly dangerous sometimes.

It would only take a second for Pampas to use his Ability X to open a channel. As long as he returned and formed a defensive position, he would not lose anything.

However, the deadly chains appeared from behind him like a ghost. The dull and dark chains immediately surrounded Pampas’ mech and the scythe sank in directly.

Instantly, the gravity on the chains erupted and forcefully pulled Pampas out of the channel.

Vincent followed up immediately. The chains could also disrupt the energy shields. Once one was entangled in it, he would not be able to switch on the energy shield. Even if it was Pampas, he would not be able to take more than three attacks.

More accurately speaking, after two strikes, the mech would be crippled once Dendi pulled the chains.

With Pampas defeated, the situation of the battle would fall towards one side.

Eagle battle team obtain a valuable victory, and this had also become the match that made Dendi famous.

The Lighthouse Warrior was similar to the Golden Wheel and wasn’t suitable for the masses. As compared to Golden Wheel’s powerful attacks, the Lighthouse Warrior was a mech that possessed unlimited possibilities. This required an intelligent person with a big picture view to operate. At the same time, this person had to place his attacks behind the team.

Wang Zheng saw the light in Achilles’ eyes. Perhaps no one was more suitable to use this mech.

Dendi had told everyone how to use this mech. However, frankly speaking, the one who was the most suitable to use it was not him but Achilles.

Achilles had always been trying to find his position in the Saruman Snake battle team. There were too many people at the warrior position. Moreover, fierce and aggressive push throughs or forceful attacks weren’t compatible with his personality. One had to do something that was compatible with his own style in order to do a good job.

This was equivalent to Dendi opening a new door for him.

With this mech in his hands, it would be an entirely different situation. Achilles closed his eyes and thoughts formed in his mind.

It had been a long time since Achilles had been so excited.
