Tempest of the Stellar War

Masasi was still smiling. Although the fierce vibrations transmitted by the mech had obviously affected his state of mind….

Milo, Dong Xiaosa, Pi Xiaoxiu…

One by one, their faces floated in front of Masasi. He had no idea if they were watching this match from the Solar System.

Roar~~~

The ability to control the momentum of the battlefield was indeed strong, but that was simply it. Everyone had neglected a single point: in combat, if there was offense, there would also be defense. If there was a rhythm for attacking, there would also be one for defending against such attacks.

Masasi was like a mountain. No matter how many attacks were made by the Hurricane Dragon, he remained motionless.

On the comms, the opponent was still blabbering away. Hurricane planet so and so, their designing time, the lack of any barriers, the intelligence of the group when gathered for a single purpose, unlike other places, just for the benefit of an individual, they had conflicted with each other…

The more nonsense he spoke, the stronger the attacks. However, Masasi could still withstand the assault, and then…

He would counter attack!

Masasi deflected one of his opponent’s attacks and thrust his blade forward for his first attack. After the Hurricane Dragon had made at least 50 moves, the Moon Shadow Guardian finally made its first!

Sparks flew!

Boom… Just like a bolt of lightning.

Masasi’s Ability X imbued his attacks with electricity that could inflict a certain degree of paralysis.

However, this lethal attack had missed…

After narrowly missing the cockpit of the Hurricane Dragon, the electricity did not result in any substantial harm, even though it had penetrated the opponent.

Suddenly…

If the blade had just been a little faster, it would have sliced through the Hurricane Dragon’s cockpit.

At the same time, Dennis’ chatter had vanished from the comms for the first time.

It was extremely quiet. At this moment, Masasi seemed to have felt something.

In the Hurricane planet’s preparation area…

Captain Li Dongyang had finished his warm up and walked back from the warm up area. Although the fighting had not ended, the substitute member from before was looking back at him. “Captain, just now…”

“There’s no sound.”

“Huh?”

“Dennis’s nonsense, it has stopped.”

“What?”

Boom!!!

At this moment.

An explosion rose from the battlefield!

The Hurricane Dragon that had avoided the attacks was like an enraged dragon, slicing right into the cockpit of the Moon Shadow Guardian, executing a direct assault. Masasi was unable to defend. Both of the mech’s limbs had been twisted away by the Hurricane Dragon. With such a powerful force, he simply had no time to react. This had no fancy techniques involved, only pure power.

You may be hardworking, but in this world, there are others who are even more hardworking than you!

The mech exploded!

Crack…

The Solar System team rushed over and opened up the cockpit . Masasi’s face was pale, and he collapsed onto the group, both his shoulders still trembling.

He had lost just when he thought he had secured the victory!

Milo, Pi Xiaoxiu… once again, their faces surfaced in his mind. Only this time, all of them had disappointed expressions on their faces.

At this moment, a single hand stretched out towards him, held him up, and stopped him from shaking. It was Wang Zheng.

“I’m sorry, I’ve lost.” Masasi also did not know what else to say. He had lost such a crucial round.

Wang Zheng patted Masasi. “Rest for a while. Victory and defeat are normal things. Leave the rest to us.”

The atmosphere tensed up immediately, and the good mood was gone. However, the Solar System Federation still had the advantage. They just had to win the next round!

The captain of the Hurricane team was on his way up, trying to equalize the score. All eyes were on Wang Zheng. Would he send someone out, or would he come out himself?

Wang Zheng smiled a little, looking at Lie Guang, who was lazily resting on the benches. “Lie Guang, it’s your turn now.”

“Me? No problem. Interesting. Two to one, this is an opportunity to deal the decisive blow. I won’t miss it.” The listless Lie Guang immediately perked up.

Lie Xin furrowed her brows. Wang Zheng’s judgment abilities…. If they sent Lie Guang up at this moment, his abilities would definitely not match up to the opponent; at best they could be considered equals. Although it was not a bad choice, the mistake that was caused by the last match would, in fact, cause Lie Guang to be under a lot of pressure.

“Seems like the captain of the Solar System team isn’t confident. He is unexpectedly avoiding a confrontation…”

“Do you really expect the people from Earth to be brave?”

“Don’t say that. They might have a trump card. This Lie Guang seems to be part of the Lie family from Mars, so perhaps he’s their ace.”

Li Dongyang chose the Hurricane Razor mech. In this match, it was the third appearance of this particular mech. At the same time, he had completely calmed down. This Wang Zheng was indeed too soft. A captain not only needed to have great strength; what was also required was to have great commanding abilities. A thousand soldiers were easy to find, but a leader was hard to get, and the Solar System simply could not match up with them.

The most popular mech of the Hurricane planet was also recognized by the public as the strongest dueling mech. According to the populace, this mech was absolutely suited for them. Indeed, there were mecha out there that had better performance, and for this occasion, they were under no restrictions to choose those mecha. However, performance did not signify everything. Under some circumstances, the history and details accompanying the mech was a more important factor.

Lie Guang’s choice was the Flaming Mountain Eighth Generation. It was a balanced mech with average performance, but it was one that he was most familiar with.

However, Wang Zheng’s choice still caused the team members of the Solar System to sweat a little. Once they were forced into a tie at two to two, the situation would be completely different, and the momentum would be given to the opponent’s side. For the third match, Wang Zheng should not have let Masasi up. While his intentions to balance the team’s internal factions were right, so as to win everybody’s support, he should have been more demanding as a team captain. Was it a problem to face the frustrations of his team?

No matter what the choice was, the match had already started.

Lie Guang VS Li Dongyang!

Boom! The Flaming Mountain Eighth Generation brandished its titanium blade. Once Lie Guang was on the battlefield, he immediately unleashed his full power. Similar to the opponent, the Hurricane team members had never the thought of preserving their strength. Hence, he would also not hold back; furthermore, the direct and explosive approach was also one that suited himself.

Roar…

Boom…

“Flaming Sword!!!”

Looking at the stage, a sharp scream rang out.

The titanium blade of Lie Guang’s Flaming Mountain had started burning with a strange flame. This type of Ability X was extremely obvious, yet it could not be completely defended against.

Lie Xin had also won using this tactic. The fire had penetrated the energy shields and pierced into the body of the mech. However, this flame did not comprise of a physical flame, it was more similar to a soul flame.

Yan Xiaosu stood up, waved his arms about, and started cheering.

“You don’t have to be so flamboyant. I didn’t even see you acting so enthusiastic before this.” Bi Yuyan rolled her eyes at Yan Xiaosu, having been surprised at the sudden commotion.

Yan Xiaosu looked back and took this chance to look at Bi Yuyan directly. Such a pretty face, and a wonderful figure…..
